I am passionate about empowering others to achieve the success they desire and deserve. I'm a teacher at heart with over 25 years experience listening, observing, and communicating to help people improve themselves. I've been a teacher and coach in multiple industries, with the last decade helping people to optimize their health and fitness through customized training, nutrition and lifestyle coaching.

MSP Fitness is home to the MSP Fitness Weightlifting Club, a USAW registered team proudly serving athletes in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. I have been a member of MSP for 7+ years. I am so pleased with the results of my training. The staff is awesome and there is plenty of attention given to help you improve your fitness and health. Even with the Covid shutdown they offered zoom classes to help members keep up with their workout routine. So glad I found MSP!!

I have been working out at MSP Fitness for about six weeks now. I am not completely able bodied - I have a partially mechanical knee after a cycling accident in 2017 - so I knew that if I wanted to start working out again, that I needed to make sure my form was on point. Another important thing for me is finding a space that is welcoming to non-cis men of all body types. MSP Fitness really really helps you see results. MSP Fitness is awesome! Michael and Taylor bring fun, challenge, support and extensive knowledge about coaching and exercise. Overall, it is a holistic practice to living your life stronger. Their guided approach has helped me stay engaged with the gym, offered variety (definitely not bored with the same old routines) and taught me how to move, lift and exercise within my personal limits. MSP Fitness is a gym meant for any type of person who is looking to increase their muscle strength, muscle endurance and, most importantly, incorporate a healthy dose of working out into their daily routine. Taylor (a competitive weightlifter) and Michael (Taylor's strength coach) are the most knowledgeable individuals one could ask for as fitness coaches. I feel comfortable approaching the two with any question I may have; anything from what I did correctly or incorrectly in a lift to their nutritional views and advice.

Love this place! I joined three months ago and it was the best fitness decision I've ever made! Michael, Taylor and Van educate and challenge you in an extremely positive environment. There's always a lot of variety in the workouts and all of the clients are very welcoming to new members. Oh, and the music is awesome! :) Thanks for all that you do!
