The management is INCOMPETENT. The location and apartments are nice, so I thought this would not be a long-standing issue since in past apartments I had minimal interactions with management after signing my lease. There are MONTHLY issues here. My parking space is taken AT LEAST 2x/week, with management giving the same tired excuse and never doing anything about it (I pay a hefty monthly fee for parking here). There is ZERO to MINIMAL communication about loud construction that will rattle the apartment for days making it impossible to work, impossible to sleep after 24 hour calls, and the noise

We lived here for 5 years. good at the beginning, deteriorated rapidly. building had a roof deck that disappeared , we had an outside space that disappeared (both lost to faulty construction, never repaired). management was never, never honest with us. unit deteriorated as well.
maintenance guys excellent. concierge great. everything else terrible. don't waste your money here.

This leasing office and management company have the worst communication I have ever seen. I've tried calling multiple times and was never able to speak to a leasing associate. I was finally contacted by email and asked to set up a virtual tour. Date and time were set but when the tour came, nobody contacted me or gave me a link. I tried calling the leasing office but again, nobody was available to talk. I tried calling later that afternoon to follow up but was routed to their corporate office who could do nothing for me. It worries me that if the office cannot handle potential customers, how are

I moved into this building in July, but couldn't tour in person due to covid. The building looked nice from the Google Street view and I took a virtual tour of the unit I was interested in. The unit looked very nice so I signed a lease. In the virtual tour, they failed to mention that directly across from my unit they were renovating several units. This included replacing walls and there were several weeks of loud banging during the work day as I was working from home. If I had been able to tour in person I would've seen the construction area and chosen a different unit. When I reached out to them

I called their number to arrange a tour. After we got their at the appointed time and about 10 minutes of waiting we were told that the leasing officer was not available. The front desk explained that it's because they are having 2 systems whatsoever and made no apology or anything. I left my number to arrange another tour but NEVER heard from them. After reading those reviews, I feel like it's the right decision to not look into the apartment anymore.

We went for a tour of the building and I wished I had read these reviews before wasting my time.
The building is under construction and the spaces at the entrance are very small and not like portrayed in the photos.
We were greeted by Simone who asked for our IDs and stated she needed to scan our IDs. Never mentioned are privacy policy and much less the reason for it.
We understood it on the basis of security so my wife showed her ID as I did not have my wallet with me as we live two blocks away from the building in another building owned by the same management company....

Update from my previous review: I still live at the Granary and I am on my 4th lease. Do not let the longevity of my stay deceive you, as I have only continued to remain here because of the convenience of the building's location relative to school/work for both myself and my fiancé. And also, the experience was mostly positive until after my second lease.
Long story short; The building management has had this residence on a downward spiral for a long time, taking the residents with them. It is such a shame because the apartment units are comfortable and beautiful on the inside, but the building

Agree with the gentleman below me that this place used to be a nice place to live, however, the building has recently gone drastically downhill. The rooftop deck that was advertised when I first moved in here was closed when I moved in, and has been closed throughout the duration of my lease (they offered a one time $100 credit to our rent, which I guess was okay , but doesn't come anywhere close to the lost value, imo). The parking situation in the lot below the building has been a mess and continues to be a mess (with residents cars parked in the wrong spaces). The gym in the building (before

This place has gone down hill very fast. Promised (and charge for) a roof deck that's been closed for two years. Just took away security in the garage, and did not even add cameras, dirty carpet, moldy ceiling tiles in the hallway, scary elevators, unresponsive management. So pretty on the outside, and running down on the inside. It's a shame - wouldn't take much for management to show it cared.

The roof has been completely inaccessible for nearly 10 months, despite repeated promises from management that it would be fixed in a matter of weeks. It's a great building in terms of location, but the constantly changing management means lots of things break (the ovens in the common room have been broken for months too). The roof was awesome when I first moved in over a year ago, but it's incredibly disappointing that we don't have access to it for so long now, especially now that the weather is great.

The Granary used to be an amazing place to live. Just last year I would've given them 5 stars. This is no longer the case. Don't get me wrong; the apartment units are super nice, and the building is usually clean. Furthermore, the building is in a prime location. However, I have become increasingly frustrated with the operational incompetence. This is partly because the on-site management is constantly changing. As a result, none of the "leasing professionals" give straightforward answers about the current state of the building because they just do not know how to address the resident's concerns

You walk into this place and you are sold on the amenities. Roof Closed. Electronic entry system not working. Community room appliances not working. In all instances when we ask the management they say "it's out of their control and they are working on it". There is zero communication and no date if every this will be addressed.

Today is the worst day when I born in the world!!! The new manager whose name is Mark, he asked the company to tow my car at the Free Parking Place, I was not in Philadelphia, came back yesterday and found that my car was missing. I called the manager, and he was lying to me. The place where I was parking is Not free parking place. I live here longer than he works at The Granary! I know where is the Free parking lot and where is the Charging parking lot! He invited me to come to his office at 9:40 am today. When I was there, he ended his conversion by himself at 9:45 am and called the police to

I recently moved into the Granary (2014) and I have to say, it has been quite a let-down.
