UPDATE: Guess what? They have the audacity to increase the rates even more for 2022. Also wiped out all my guest passes in my account.

Meanwhile, nothing has changed since my last review. Same net, same basketballs, floors haven't been cleaned, the basketball court feels more like an ice skating rink, machines out of order for weeks, literally no progress. The water bottle dispensers haven't worked in months and the waterfilters are rarely ever with the green light. How are you going to make no changes, cheap out on everything, then still think it is okay to increase rates?

I decided to cancel my membership about 4-6 months ago, but I realized that I was still getting charged $50 a month, when I reached out to the club in July Greg Gonzales emailed me and he told me my membership was never canceled and my account was still active, and he needed prove that I canceled, since I was going on vacation I decided to let it go and no fight for the 3 months they charged but I did told him to make sure to cancel it this time and to make sure I was not getting charged again... a month later there's a $200 something charge on my account, I immediately emailed him and

For the amount of money paid monthly, I expect this gym to be open past 9pm. The more this gym continues to close at 9pm the more it seems absurd that two months of dues here is like a full year at 24 Hour. Pay $2k+ annually to actually be able to use less. Continue to do this and you will lose members out to places that open later, and offer more weight lifting options. Yes, less people go to Bay Club, but only because it is expensive compared to other places that actually aren’t so bad.
One thing I noticed was the lack of cleaning sprays and hand sanitizer that other gyms would overly supply

We took family membership so that my son and daughter could use the swimming pool and gym before they head out to collage in August. But I was very disappointed by their lack of proper communication and professional courtesy. When we joined they said we will get one free training session and someone would call soon. But nobody called in two months! When I tried to cancel in August, they are now saying it has to be until the end of September. This was not at all communicated well when we joined. Overall, very disappointed by this experience.

If I can give this club negative 5 stars I will be glad to do so. This particular bay club is run by mom and pa and make sure wonder why we are premium for lousy service. I am a tennis member for this club about 13 years. The services is going down ever year. They took away three tennis courts and didn't reduce the payment, now they want to stop all the usta activities without any proper notification. They refused to fix the water dispenser for longest even it's a building code requirement. There are a lot more that I can complain, the list just never end. If you ever want to join the

One in Fremont is most dirties place then other club. They do not so many classes and worse thing is bath rooms are the most dirty hairs are everywhere. They do not cleaning service for couple of months. floor in locker area is very bad. Think twice before you pay so much dues. It looks like other gym where you do not pay so high monthly dues. Is the same here.

I recently became a member of the Santa Clara Bay Club. I do like the club a lot but the turn around time in terms of response from the staff is just HORRID. If you send an email to the managers of the club, no one gets back to you unless you follow up MULTIPLE times . Either they are short of people or don’t care to check emails. Either ways, the… customer service suffers . Either set an expectation for response time that we will get back to you in x number of business days or get back within a couple of business days . It’s just ridiculous that I have to keep following up on

The initiation fee is a scam. Do not expect your money back. We signed up two years ago with over $6000 initiation fee plus monthly fees and were told that we can get our initiation fee back after two years. … Turns out they dropped the price of the initiation fee to $2500 and are now told that it is a “transferable” fee so at best we can only get 70% of the new fee (not the money we put in).
Why are we quitting? I’d say that the Ross Valley club is way over subscribed for the size of it. It’s impossible to find a seat at the pool on the weekend unless you go after

Another update. Though I felt that Club Sport changing to part of the Bay Club wasn't handled as well as it could've been, I do give them credit for staying around and honoring commitments to longtime members as well as making some renovations to keep the facilities from looking too worn and dated.

However, I also think that the Bay Club could've handled how they handled membership fees during the lockdown. I also have a basic membership to 24 Hour and my wife has one with Equinox, and both those gyms automatically suspended fees till reopening.

I volunteered to pay 50% fees

This gym comes with a lot of GREAT classes and equipment. It feels more like a club than a gym, it has a very nice pool, multiple courts for multiple sports and is just by far the best gym I've ever been to.

Pretty crappy price and amenities I'd say your better off buying a $100 set on Amazon that includes a bench press and two dumbbells than wasting $0.50 cents on this covid magnet

I am writing to let you guys know NOT TO EVER JOIN Bay Club Fremont for tennis coz under the management of Bay Club, the tennis facilities has gone to bits and pieces where they do not care about their tennis members. It started with 5 indoor tennis courts and 3 outdoor tennis courts. In the span of the last few years, they have taken 1 indoor tennis court to convert to squash courts. And just this came in today, 11/9 that they are going to move all their outdoor fitness equipment to one of our indoor tennis court. That means we will lose 1 more indoor tennis court. On top of that, during the pandemic

Bay Club used to be Club Sport, and the change has been one for the better. The club always was a full-service one, but one of the major changes that have happened recently is that they have added 5 new squash courts (really important and the main reason we are members here). Also, in the past we had to pay for guests, but now they have lifestyle points which can be accrued and redeemed for guest passes. The lobby is really cheerful, they have tons of group exercises. They have a cafe which makes hot water freely available (trivial, I know, but ClubSport did not, and I love hot water). They are

This is a very nice club. The clubhouse is nice and greatly improved since Bay Clubs bought them. The course is a bit on the challenging side with some good elevation changes. It drains well after a rain but can get windy. The main reason I did not give it 5 stars is they don't have a driving range...yet. However, I understand one is in the works.… The staff is great and the Sunday afternoon offerings for kids are very appealing.
My wife and I had individual golf lessons with Miguel Zulueta and we were both very, very happy with him as a teaching pro. He was excellent at diagnosing our key
