Aaron is the most mean person I ever know. When I moved in, former management was happy to let me park uhaul one hour in parking lot to unload and move stuff. When management changed and Aaron became manager, he seems pissed as if he suspect me for violation, when he saw I park uhaul in one hour to load stuff to move out. Not a nice attitude. ALSO, NO MATTER how good you clean your apt when move out, they will still charge you expensive cleaning fee which is different from the lease. I cleaned with disinfectan all over even every corner, no hole on the wall. But they take your deposit for cleaning

The Addy isn't worth the prices they ask for. I lived in a one bedroom, which was more like a large studio, for a little over a year and a half and I could not wait to leave. When we first toured in the winter, we asked about cooling and heating and were pointed to the "temperature control" on the wall. We were not informed that this temperature control was for heating only. There is no air conditioning in these units. We lived here during the heatwave where temperatures were 90-116° at the end of June.
Addy Management addressed this in an email: "Residents have previously been provided a complimentary

I toured a unit they said was a one bedroom, and it was actually a studio. The floor had stains, and the microwave handle was broken. Things look nice on the outside but don’t let yourself get tricked.
Edit: The Addy replied to my review. I will add some additional information.
“The floor is concrete and it has natural blemishes.” - there were white spots that the manager said were from paint. These were not natural blemishes.
“Our one bedrooms are urban so they won't have the typical door you would see in a classic one bedroom.” - In order to call something a bedroom, Portland requires

Positives:
Great physical location on the streetcar line
Negatives:
Poor security
Management is not receptive to resident concerns/comments
No air conditioning
Building offers only ONE amenity, a community lounge that has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic (residents are still paying for this access, and no rental discounts have been granted to account for loss of access to this space)

Love the location, it is close to so many great hangouts in NW. Office staff are super friendly and the maintenance tech is very responsive and takes care of my maintenance order in one go. I had a plumbing issue and he had to come back to do some more repairs and communicated with me through the entire repair and worked with my schedule, so thank you!

No one showed up to leasing office 2/1/20, and it's 1040, 40 mins after opening. Also, my girlfriends car was stolen from the parking garage - and the "after hours emergency" number notified us that THEY DONT EVEN COVER THE ADDY ANYMORE.

I've been living at The Addy for about 5 months now and I really love the location. Nike bikes, a scooter charging station, and the streetcar are all right in front of the apartment and there are lots of nice places/things to do within walking distance. Anna in the front office is amazing-very responsive and accommodating. The neighborhood feels safe and is very quiet at night. The only things that I don't like are that the place is a little small and the A/C situation is not the best (it's a big unit attached to the wall). But those are small inconveniences compared to the rest of the perks!

I’ve been living at The Addy for two years and love it here! The front office is super helpful and nice, especially Mae! The Addy location is amazing, nice and safe neighborhood. The apartment is modern, has everything you need, washer/dryer, dish washer, trash chute, etc! Would recommend living here 😊

This used to be a fantastic building, but the quality has deteriorated significantly. As the prices have been reduced, there has been an increase in lack of respect for other residents and the building. There's a lot of smoking on patios and in front of the building, a lot of loud dogs and the quality of construction is very poor. You can hear your neighbors hanging clothes, closing cabinets, talking on the phone, and in the winter feel the cold air coming through the outlets. Also bring a good alarm system - car's are frequently broken into the parking garage and bikes stolen from

My partner and I had been at the Addy for about 2 years. We were planning to resign again in February and move up to a two bedroom unit. Unfortunately the building has gone really downhill over the last few months. Here are our main concerns:

#1 Over the last two months when I have gone to leave for work at 5am ALL of the lobby lights have been off several times leaving it to feel very unsafe.

#2 Three times now packages in the "secured" lobby have been opened, taken, and left down by the mailboxes. This caused us to look around and realize that while there are security cameras by the

Unfortunately my experience has not been good with this building and the property management. I currently live in a unit on the ground floor with large widows and high ceilings. The unit also has concrete floors. The reason for this review is the fact that the apartment is freezing cold. The heater(s) do not bring the temperature above 50F. With 3 additional space heaters it peaks about 60F. All heaters run constantly as the temp never reaches a set 68F. The electric bill is over $300 per month!!
The management has been less than mediocre in assisting. Through constant complaining and emails

One of the best up and coming apartments in the NW area in my opinion, and I toured quite a few. Here's why... brand new apartments in a great location! Not only is their community space brand new, but they also have a full demo-kitchen in it as well. There are also a bunch of restaurants within walking distance, including Boke Bowl right in the same building. The inside of the apartment units are tastefully done with all brand new stainless steel appliances and wood cabinetry.

The apartment itself is well managed by a friendly team. Michael (the assistant manager) is awesome! He was really

Eric Zeigler was an awesome property manager.

However the people who are there now are the polar opposite.

They entered my apartment to drill a hole in the wall for AC vents.. at the beginning of winter.
And then for 5 months I had an open hole in my wall, through winter.

After being fed up with the rudeness of the woman in the office, management locking the recycling disposal (Had to take my trash down five floors to dispose of it.), mysterious $40-$70 charges on my bills that management refused to explain, and general disrepair of the apartment I left my lease early, with a check for the lease

We moved to the Addy around June of this year and upon moving in, management changed. The new manager, Eric Ziegler, has been doing an incredible job, not only improving upon the building itself (adding such things as a state of the art coffee/espresso machine that is available for free to all residents, in addition to ac ports in every apartment), but he has also gone above and beyond to assist my partner and I with various self-brought issues (like when I had lost my keys, locked myself out and needed to access my mailbox....oops)! He's started a community portal which has made requesting

I've lived at the Addy for about 4 months and I justt wanted to write and tell people how much I enjoy living here. The building is great. It's well designed and it has a great neighborly feel. The building is beautiful. The community lounge is one of the nicest I've seen in Portland. The bicycle garage rocks. The trash system is modern & efficient and the trash room is well kept. The lobby is clean & welcoming and the complimentary coffee is a nice touch. The maintenance and the management teams are friendly, professional, and responsive. They get things done in a timely

I moved here last year and the previous managers were awesome. Riverstone and the current leasing manager do not care about you, only your money.

I live and work here; speak/see to the cleaning and leasing staff almost everyday. Since Riverstone took over I have had issues with their online payment and have had to pay for several late fees.

The worst part is the leasing manager will not say a word and watch you walk by every day (I even came in and spoke to them for up to 10min a day before).

Managers are rude and mean.

Update: after a complaint to the regional manager i got help, but

Beautiful place. Perfect location. Excellent customer service. The people who live there are really kind and friendly. Awesome lounge on the 2nd floor. My friends live there, and their rent is very reasonable for what you get / less expensive than other places in the area! Not giving it 5 stars because the floor layout reminds me of a hotel. However, the rest of the building makes up for it. Oh, and they allow dogs and cats!

Have lived here for about a month. The location is the main reason to live at The Addy its great - in the middle of everything west side - Pearl/23rd/Downtown all in walking distance. My 1 bed/ 1br unit is modern with great layout and use of space. Having a great restaraunt on-prem is another plus. The best part for me has been the professionalism of the staff/property management company. They have been extremely helpful, courteous, and pleasant to work with. I moved from a place with no air conditioning, so this is not a huge issue for me. It is something that every potential tenant should
