I've had such a positive experience staying at this gem of an Inn. Their team are all welcoming, knowledgeable and all around wonderful. My room has always been immaculate and quiet.
Their complimentary hot breakfast is delicious and the pool & Jacuzzi warm and inviting.
I accidentally left a diamond necklace in my room at check-out and was delighted to find that their honest housekeeping staff had turned it in.
Obviously, I'll be a forever loyal guest!

Was truly disappointed with this establishment this time. We have stayed before but that was B4 COVID. I have to have a ADA room and although it was clean and well kept some of the other things they really missed the mark. The bathroom floor was tiled BUT, it was so slippery when wet even with the towel they supply you had a close call of falling. The toilet set was so loose if you moved at all while in use it would pinch your skin. There was a slatted bench in the shower but sitting in it it felt like sharp wood cutting into your legs.
And that was just the bathroom. There was only one tiny trash

Full disclosure. We knew where this hotel was located before we booked; however, even with the extra window pane, in our opinion, it was very noisy from the interstate. So if you don't like noise, this isn't for you.
Pros:
Clean
VERY Friendly Service
BIG counter for meal prep
Comfy couch
Cons:
Mattress wasn't that great
Holes in comforter (desk apologized)
Sack breakfast disappointing (oatmeal had nuts) ALLERGY ALLERT! Did what they could with Covid restrictions.
Huge signage appears to blame the Governor for the statewide mask mandates.

My mom lives down the street from this hotel and since Covid is happening I'm staying here instead of with her. It's a basic little inn, but it's cute and warm. They offer breakfast to go in the lobby and you just fill out a little slip and they have it for you. During not covid they have a standard free breakfast but I appreciate them modifying it instead of just getting rid of it! The tv is not "smart", just channels, no Netflix or Hulu apps. Which doesn't bother me, but I know it's important to some people so keep that in mind. The i5 noise isn't bad as

This is the first time that I have stayed in a hotel since the COVID-19 pandemic started so I was a bit unsure of what to expect. The Phoenix Inn and Suites was clean and had good social distancing policies. Importantly, the other guest seemed to be respectful of those policies. Because of COVID, the hotel was not offering its usual breakfast, but they did provide a boxed breakfast which was a welcomed gesture.
The room I stayed in was a nice size, especially for the price. It also seemed well kept and was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. There were a few restaurants nearby

Great hotel from service, to cleanliness, to breakfast. I've stayed here twice for work and have requested to come back again in a few weeks. The staff has always been so nice here and always gone out of their way to help me out. Very impressed how huge and spacious the rooms are.
I could see where the freeway could drive people crazy even though it didn't bother me at all. I was RIGHT next to it on my second trip and it honestly wasn't nearly as bad as people made it seem. (Maybe if you are an extremely light sleeper.)
Their breakfast was yummy too. How can you go wrong with

I'm rather irritated because I don't keep by phone next to me at night and the clocks weren't changed. I could have slept in, and lord knows I can use the extra sleep time. I got up at 5 according to the clock time and learned after I was wide awake it was 4. How on earth could a hotel nit update their clocks. Not cool! I would give a 1 star but the hotel is ok in the other areas.

This hotel was actually great. We stayed for 3 days moving someone into college at Lewis & Clark. It's about a 15 min. drive from campus.
The rooms were extremely clean & spacious with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker etc. Beds super comfortable & shower not bad.
Staff was great. Friendly & accommodating.
Area is so-so. There are a bunch of restaurants close by (walking distance) but not much else. But shopping is only 10-15 drive away.
The only negative about the stay was their breakfast. While it is a full breakfast, the eggs & sausage we're pretty unappealing

I'm giving this place 4 stars for the following reasons:
- great smell in the lobby and very cool temp
- clean room
- hotel has rooms with 3 queen beds(That's neat!)
- cute and clean indoor pool/hot tub area
- Olive Garden across the street
- Nice gas station beside it
- conveniently located off of I5
- bathroom had exhaust fan
I didn't give this place 5 stars for the following reasons:
- called ahead twice for an earlier check in (2 hours early) was told No
- arrived 6 minutes before designated 4pm check in to be told the room wasn't ready and they didn't know when it

We stay here during the great snow storm of 2017. The staff is always friendly and work hard to make their customers happy. When we were checking out, our battery was dead so the gentleman on duty took his time in the freezing cold to give us a jump. They rooms are spacious and the bed was wonderful.
They also have a great breakfast.

Hotel Room - Nice, spacious, and like how there is a slight separation between the seating area and the bed. The room temperature is run by a vent by the window.
Bathroom - Decent size, body wash and shampoo and conditioner dispensers, minimal amount of towels provided for guest (literally one per person). It also smelled musky.
Bed - Pillows were too soft. Bedsheets smelled musky too.
Pool - The room was strangely hot and humid, and not inviting for a dive.
Breakfast Buffet - Options were decent. The hardboiled eggs, and sausage with gravy was good.
Vending Machines - Snacks and soft drinks

A quick trip to Portland to buy a car, we picked the hotel that was a) most convenient to purchase location and b) cheapest/included breakfast - hence how we ended up with Phoenix Inn Suites. They are conveniently located next to the I5 and just off Kruse Way in Lake Oswego, OR with several other hotels as well as chain restaurants located nearby.
We booked through Expedia, so check in was a breeze - and thank god, because the another person checking in was very sick and complaining about being under the weather.
Our room was on the 4th floor with a lovely view of the Shell gas station next door

This is my second stay with Phoenix Inn and certainly not the last. The rooms have been remodeled, they are extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable & cozy.
They have a wonderful selection for breakfast. Only down falls are the pool, and a little freeway noise. I would definitely recommend. Not to mention the great rates!!

Not the nicest place i've stayed in, but for a one-nighter it was okay.
The front desk was friendly enough, but you could tell she definitely wasn't ecstatic about working there.
They have a 24-hour pool & gym. Free wifi & a Chevy's Mexican Restaurant, Applebees & Olive Garden right next door (within walking distance). Depending on where you are in the hotel, you can definitely hear the road noise. Luckily our room was facing the restaurant side, so it wasn't too bad.
The breakfast in the morning was rather disappointing. Their "fresh fruit" options

My stay was a blast from the past. My room was very outdated but super clean. The bed was low to the ground and the mattress was very old and lumpy. The room only came with decaf coffee so that cost my rating a star. I love my caffeine.... I was very surprised that I had no toilet pape. There was 2 holders and they were both empty.the staff was friendly and helpful. The noise from the I-5 had waken me up a couple of times. However, the breakfast was very delicious. They had hot and cold items that were pretty good. I don't think I will stay here again but I would eat here again.

I wish it was possible to give zero stars, but it isn't. Ok, here we go.
Let me preface this review by saying I travel very often for business (several times a month) and because my usual hotel was booked (Marriott property) and so was the Hilton near it, I went on hotels.com to find another hotel near my office in Lake Oswego. The Phoenix in was one of the only ones available RIGHT in LO and I wish I had just stayed in Portland or in Tigard or something, because this experience was possibly the worst I've ever had with a hotel in all of my years of traveling.
The Phoenix is right

We chose this hotel because we had a great experience at the Tigard location. (Sadly, the Tigard location did not have a room for all of the nights we needed.)
The front desk folks are friendly and helpful. The building is in fair shape. The halls are heavily scented with air fresheners.
Breakfast was managed by a friendly gentleman, but the food was cold. The common areas were clean enough though.
My issues were/are, the pool area was full of kids with no adult supervision and there were slamming doors all night. I did call the front desk to ask about the kids...they are allowed until 10:30
