I went to the store personally and handpicked each flower with a sales person for a nice orange/yellow autumn Thanksgiving flower bouquet. I paid $200 and we agreed that they add some berries and some magnolia leaves and deliver to my apartment. The salesperson had the chosen flowers in her arm and set she will put it aside till delivery.
They delivered 8 hours later and it was all wrong. None of the flowers I had chosen, bought and PAID for was in the delivered bouquet. Instead there were dark red flowers and some old roses.

I went to their website and left a request. Five minutes later someone called me back. This was a request for same day delivery. Rather than choose flowers from the photos on the website I explained the occasion and asked for them to use their judgement from whatever flowers seemed fresh.
I set the price, gave the info for delivery and hoped for the best. That afternoon the recipient of my flowers called to thank me. She said it was the most beautiful arrangement she’d ever seen. She was overwhelmed.
This happens whenever I order from them. I trust them and they do a fabulous job.

I ordered a flower arrangement for my wife for our wedding anniversary. It was very timely delivered. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful and smelled amazing! I recently ordered the sunflower arrangement for my daughter to celebrate her birthday. The arrangement was gorgeous. The flowers were very fresh and beautifully arranged. In addition, the deliverer walked up 6 flights of stairs to deliver in person. I appreciate all that this florist did to make such a special arrangement and appreciate the care that was taken in the delivery process. I highly recommend Flowers by Phillip, and they will now be my go-to florist in NYC!

I have goosebumps writing this, my expectations were so exceeded! I called with a last minute birthday bouquet request and they talked me through tier options, I opted for a “simple” bouquet noting my friend’s favorite color is green so to include maybe blue and purple. Upon arrival (20 min later) I almost cried at how beautiful the arrangement was! They worked so fast, and did an incredible job!
My friend absolutely loves them and they are so above and beyond a “simple bouquet”. I will return for any subsequent floral needs!!

Absolutely gorgeous bouquet exactly as pictured on website and so kindly arranged at a moment’s notice (taking 30 mins total). I’ve struggled to find florists on the upper east side who provide good value, virtually all overcharge exorbitantly (15+ years of living in the area and searching!). Flowers By Philip instead offered incredible value and a truly beautiful bouquet with kind, thoughtful service. Will make this my only go to in the neighborhood.

Amazing flowers sent to my mom! Same day delivery and just beyond what I was hoping for! I requested they use pinks for an "elegant" arrangement. I've used them in the past and will continue to do so in the future. My mom is a flower lover and this is just perfect! She called them "glorious". Perfect.

Based on other reviews I thought it was a decent and trustworthy place. Wrong. If you decide to order any bouquet from their website, mind that the pictures do not resemble what you will get. And then people on the phone will be very rude with you, have absolutely no culture of communication, no respect for you as a customer, and try very hard to prove that you are wrong. Then they might offer to deliver an extra 10 buds of flowers, and when you ask them not to do that because you don't want to disturb the person, they will say they will still do so - even though you might be now almost begging

I would have bought some flowers here, but no one spoke to me or even looked at me as I came in. I guess they are doing well enough to act like some kind of snotty Madison Avenue clothing store but they should know better, I won't be back. Looks like I am not the only one with that kind of experience! A lot of people here agree you are rude. Enjoy your success while it lasts, you certainly aren't winning accounts with your sparkling personalities. I will smile when I see your windows shuttered.

Walked into Flowers by Philip today after I saw all of the beautiful arrangements in the window. I was really surprised by the high quality of flowers they carry and the variety of arrangements. The staff I encountered while I navigated my way through the shop was super friendly and helpful - especially Juanita (super knowledgeable). I noticed the owner in the back playing with his 2 dogs. I think first impressions are lasting, and for me, I found him to be an old school New Yorker - a no nonsense kinda guy (which I appreciate since my parents are from NYC). In all honestly, I don't need people

I happen to live next door but was using another florist for my bridal bouquets. When that florist had to unexpectedly cancel two days before my wedding, I immediately called Flowers by Philip. They had no problem doing 6 bridal bouquets in just 2 days notice. I came over and selected my flowers from their gorgeous selection. The bouquets were of excellent quality. Highly recommend!

They delivered flowers to me (which were a thank gift from a relative who really
stretched to send them to me). When my doorman told me I was not home
(as in not home for several weeks) the delivery person was nasty and said that's what I have a doorman for. I retuned home to dead flowers (which were in my building manager's office). I asked them to pick them up - "that won't be necessary; we'll send another one out..." They never did; no credit
