Really enjoyed living @ 50 West Broadway. The location can't be beat. Pets are welcome. The staff in the office and the maintenance staff are very friendly and responsive. Nice apartments. Washer and dryer in the unit and higher end appliances too. The rent is a little steep especially if you add in parking or pets but it is still reasonable for the location. I'd recommend it!

Wow this was an awful visit. Emailed them around noon about apartments available for July 1 and Katherine said to come in before her 3pm appointment to chat and visit. Got there about 2:30pm. Her 3pm showed up early for their appointment, so she asked us to wait 30 min. Didnt finish with them until 50 min later. Then we sit down in her office and she says there are no apartments available until Sept 1st..... Such an unnecessary waste of time.. not even an apology from her.

50 West Broadway is a nice place to live. The apartment building is kept very clean and the staff is very nice.

All maintenance requests are promptly addressed. The administrative staff do take their time on completing their tasks. I have been living there for 2 months and have not received my signed lease, or my name placed in the calling box. For the most part I do not care, but it sucks to have to go downstairs every time I order delivery to open the door instead of buzzing them in. Since I moved the main TV gym is not working because the ladies have not ordered a box to Comcast. Again, they

I've lived in 50 West Broadway since 2011 and think it's an excellent building. The apartments are beautiful (great layout, great finishes). The staff is top notch. Everyone is really friendly and they work hard to keep tenants happy. Maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner. The common areas are really nice (the gym, lounge/party room, courtyard etc). The neighborhood is also terrific. Everything is convenient (shopping, transportation etc). 50 West Broadway is a great place to live.

The pros are the apartments are clean and fairly well maintained. Great big windows, nice kitchens, a comfortable place to live.

It is not though, "green" by most definitions. First, the windows barely open, so one is forced to use some sort of artificial climate control, even on very temperate days. The greenery inside is all plastic, and even outside, there is no outdoor seating or grass (even the outdoor courtyards are concrete). The appliances are fine, but not focused on any sort of green concept etc etc.

The building is very expensive, considering that one is in Southie

The individual units here are nice and the building is fairly well-maintained aesthetically, but the building has failed to live up to what it sells itself as. For starters, we moved here primarily because it said it was "100% Smoke Free," but we have had to live with our unit being completely filled with cigarette smoke through the bathroom vent system on multiple occasions. Even though we were forced to leave our apartment and/or confined to only one room (a bedroom) that was not connected to the smoker's apartment, the management company has taken the position that they are
