Hudy's Cafe & The Li'l Bar

Decided to try out a local diner, and found this place. Took my family, and got to enjoy a good breakfast! I would say this is a solid mid-level breakfast spot. If you're looking for super fancy attention to menu details, or homemade specialty items or dressings, this is not THAT place. If you just want a good cup of coffee and a tasty meal that's not gonna break your pockets, they got you. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bacon Apple Fritter Sandwich(which is exactly what it sounds like chicken, bacon, and cheese between two slices of a fried apple fritter), my family ordered the chicken fried steak

Hudy's Cafe & The Lil Bar are two of the best kept secrets in the area.
The prices, portions and amazingly awesome friendly family style atmosphere really makes this place the best of the best.
Fyi the weekly dinner specials at the Lil Bar are amazing, especially the terriaki steak bites which comes with a potatoes and vegetables and Texas toast for under $10.
I highly recommend the mashed potatoes and gravy as they are scratch homemade mashed potatoes as is the gravy.
I think that I can confidentially say that once you try Hudy's Cafe & The Lil Bar you will be hooked for life.

Food is great. Prices are great. Service is great. You need to come here, especially on Thursday the chicken while rice soup is amazing!

My wife had pancakes and bacon. The bacon under cooked, with horrible after taste. Pancakes unsweetened, and dense. I ordered sausage, biscuits and eggs. The sausage was missing in action, the biscuits are smaller than hockey pucks, I ordered 2 eggs over easy, one egg hard. The two easiest breakfast plates to make, and failed miserably.

Went for breakfast, ordered an omlet. The food was good, exactly what you would expect for a diner feel. The coffe was good and the service was excellent. Had a nice family vibe to the place. Next time I will try the bar side out so I can get a bloody mary with my meal. Didn't realize there were two sides to the place and the bar side opens slightly later than the left side.

Unbelievably wonderful atmosphere here. Very kind people and excellent service. Small town feel. And the food quality is excellent.

Great "small town diner" with so much charm that matches the awesome quality of the food. I got the Denver omlet (which is my go to for breakfast if it's on the menu) - it was the best Denver I've had to memory. Great service and value to boot

Should probably use different paper for the to go boxes. The red checker ink bleeds into the food.
But the food was good!

Hudy's has a nice extensive breakfast menu; something for everyone. I had the Italian skillet with over easy eggs. Very very good. Very good service; bottomless coffee cup.

Tasty food. Good prices. Friendly service. We enjoyed breakfast on Sunday and beat the rush by getting there at 9. Servers did a great job keeping our coffee cups full. Omelettes were generously filled and hash browns were worth the extra buck. We will definitely be back again.
