This was a last minute order and they totally met my expectations , from the large beautiful roses that had amazing scent to them , to the on time delivery- which during Covid 19 where deliveries are scarce and late or don't show up at all , these people were efficient on the phone , and provided prompt service . I am so appreciative because I live in Miami and this was a Mother's Day order for my mother in NYC ; I was so worried they wouldn't show or smthg . They really came thru and I highly recommend them

I placed an order for same day delivery. The timer said I had an hour and a half to meet the delivery time frame. By 7:30 when the flowers still had not arrived I called and got the owner. He was quick to blame it on the coronavirus. It was only after I said that a call to explain the oversight would have been appreciated that he even apologized. The flowers arrived the next morning and many roses were already showing age. They looked nothing like the picture. While I understand the need to substitute, it's only been 3 days and most have wilted. I would have done better going to Trader

I yelped flowers near my hotel and New York Plaza Florist came up. I at first had a hard time finding it. It's inside a small park. I was so happy I did. I wanted a bouquet for my hotel room. I selected my favorite, stargazers. Caesar was very helpful. He prettied my bouquet up, cut the stems and took pictures of me with my flowers. When I'm NY, I will always patronize this flower shop.

Good flowers, good service. I use New York Plaza Florist for opening night bouquets, and they do not disappoint. Good value - especially for midtown! - and unique arrangements. I've ordered $100 arrangements that looked lush and fabulous, and $30 arrangements as office gifts that were each unique, lovely, and very well received. A good florist by any standard, and a terrific midtown option that will treat you well without breaking the bank.

I was excited to use NY Plaza Florist to surprise my girlfriend at work with a lovely bouquet of roses on our 2 year anniversary day, but it didn't turn out as perfect as I had expected. While my girlfriend was still surprised, the bouquet of roses that was delivered did not look like the arrangement shown on the website. I had expected "A Pretty Pink Dozen" to look pink and vibrant as shown in the photo, not white roses with just the tips dyed pink. Even the photos of pink roses in the photo gallery look lovely and pink. I had expected more from this florist based on the great reviews

New York Plaza Florists helped me out of a jam a couple of weeks ago. I was running late to my wedding anniversary and needed flowers. Why is this always the case? A topic for another time.
I called NY Plaza 5 minutes before closing and they were still very nice, helpful and accommodating - even though they are located in the public plaza area of a high rise that closes to the public at the time I showed up. I told them what I wanted, they said no problem and met me by the closed and locked gate to the plaza and handed me the flowers as I handed them cash. Perfect.

Cute little florist shop in the middle of Midtown, NY. It's a little difficult to find. Keep in mind that they are inside the plaza and no actually facing the street bc I got lost trying to find it on google maps. I stopped by to pick up a small bouquet. The gentleman in the shop was very friendly and quickly put together a mixed bouquet. His assistant was nice too. Very friendly service! They have fresh beautiful flowers and will work with you on how much you want to spend. Pre-made arrangements are also available inside the refrigerator as well as potted orchids and green plants

They were open on a Sunday afternoon, the guy on the phone was really friendly, they had carnations, and the guy was very friendly in person!
Long story short, I needed a bunch of carnations for my intermediate architectural design class (longer story) and for some reason they were beyond difficult to track down. I found myself in midtown and this hidden gem delivered!
Took a while to locate.. especially with some obnoxious parade going on.. and the plaza being "closed" according to some security power-tripper. ...but I got my way.

Had to get flowers for a co-worker and found this place. Not much to choose from in the area. No complaints - built me a beautiful lily bouquet that lasted for a long time. She was very happy. I noticed they didn't have a huge selection but I was quite satisfied with the outcome.
Note - this place is tucked away in the lunch plaza area so it's not actually on 6th Avenue. Turn on 45th and it's in the plaza of the first large building.

It's been five years since I first reviewed this shop. I continue to purchase flower arrangements for my friends in Manhattan - birthdays and holidays. My experience has been excellent - consistently. Recipients reaction is uniformly positive. Deliveries are on time. Flowers are perfect and last for several days. Highly recommended.

When I was first wooing my lady friend, I came to the conclusion that the use of pre-written Yelp compliments was not going to seal the deal with this one. I decided I wanted to send some flowers with a present for a special occasion.
Despite working on 48th & 6th for three years, I had no idea that this place existed. It's tucked away into one of the lunch plazas that dot midtown in this area.
Bill helped me pick out a great arrangement, gave me a reasonable price, and made sure it was delivered exactly when he promised it would be.
