I own property next door to this complex and it has caused nothing but problems for myself and other homeowners. The parking situation at The Trails is unacceptable and out of control. I talk to renters from The Trails often and they inform me of the lack of parking for them and their guests. Their vehicles have been towed from inside the property, they sometimes have to park down the street at Ralphs and if they do find a parking in the cul de sac outside the complex, their car windows get broken. People are forced to make their own parking, sometimes parking on the sidewalk, along red-painted

I am renter here. If you considering moving here, don't!
There are numerous issues with what should be standard features of any apartment complex.
The first and the worst is there is absolutely NO visitor parking. I don't mean just one or two spots. I mean NONE available to residents' guests. To be fair, there are six to eight spots that are marked "Visitor" but if your guest should find one open, they will most certainly be verbally accosted by a resident of the nearest building claiming the spot is assigned. I had one guest that was physically threatened unless she moved her car. The only place

I currently live here. My apartment is nice. The appliances are great and new. I don’t have any issues in regards to my unit. I signed a lease dec 2020 for a 1 bed 1 bath w an office and pay $1965. My neighbors are quiet and I don’t have any issues with anyone here. Everyone seems to mind their business. Maintenance & the office staff are incredibly nice.
Reminder that the office staff is not responsible for the lack of parking that’s literally the owners and whoever engineered the place.
The biggest complaint here is parking. There isn’t enough parking for the residents let alone any

My fiancé and I recently moved in this month to The Trails and we have been beyond satisfied with not only the apartment itself but the customer service from the leasing staff whom made our move so much easier and smoother. We called with plenty of questions constantly and not once did they let up on there customer service and friendliness. The maintenance here has been absolutely amazing, any issue big or small there are on it in a matter of no time. I highly recommend The Trails to anyone looking for a new apartment in Riverside.

I recently moved here and love, love, the luxurious feel to the two bedroom apartment. I also greatly appreciate and must acknowledge the management team.
My experience has been positive. I found this place during a time crunch to move and start a new job, and the management team was exceptionally helpful right from our first interaction! They are friendly, were empathetic to my situation, and offered flexibilities that ensured I had what I needed which made my move and late arrival easier.
Thank you, Angel & Elizabeth! You’ve been immensely helpful and are greatly appreciated!
I’m loving

Apartments are beautiful, but I have got to say. I am in my fourth day living here and I am DREDDING the next year having to fight for parking spots. We live in a 3 bedroom and have 3 cars, we get 2 assigned parking spots which is great! BUT what in the world do we do with the 3rd car? I was recommended to park near Ralphs like that's ANY better.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. There is absolutely no guest parking. I've contacted the leasing office multiple times as the residents will park in the guest parking and claim it as their own. The car port you are given is very far from your apartment, and if you park in the red zone for even 5 minutes to unload groceries or grab something you apartment your car will be towed and the fee is $400. The leasing office doesn't seem to care and doesn't respond regarding the issues. The apartments are nice and it is more of a luxury complex, but it's ridiculous that you can't even unload groceries

Edit: I previously posted a 3 star review, however I want to change it. From the moment we took a tour here, we felt like we had found our home. The parking situation can be frustrating, especially for those with more than one car; as I'm sure you can read from the other reviews. But I appreciate good management more than poor parking. This complex has good management. Parking is tough. Hopefully, parking clears up soon. If you're considering moving in, there's cons but I would say there's more pros. There's going to be cons everywhere you go. It's clear that the management team apprentices their

DO NOT sign a lease.
If you are okay with having your car parked outside the complex or better yet not even being able to be parked anywhere nearby or not being allowed to have a guest over due to they will not be able to park because all visitor spots will be taken up by residents then welcome to the trails at canyon crest!
My husband and I up until recently have been very happy with this place. The inside of the units are beautiful and the complex is well maintained.
However one week ago everyone came to the realization that this place did a HORRIBLE job at planning. Friday they assigned people
