The Inn At Pasatiempo
With guidance from the California Hotel Lodging Association and the Centers for Disease Controls (CDC) we have implemented a Clean and Safe Plan for the hotel. Some of the new procedures include employee temperature checking upon arrival, the requirement of glove and mask wearing and education along with the practice of frequent hand washing.

Also, we have increased our sanitation efforts throughout the property in both the guest rooms and all public areas. Lastly we are requiring the practice of social distancing throughout the entire hotel, along with mandatory face coverings. We will continue to take the pandemic seriously and do our part to keep our employees and guests safe and to prevent the spread of the virus.

Horrible experience at this low budget motel - that's what it really is. We were moved there after an AWFUL experience at the overpriced VRBO mansion home on the same property. The spetic tank in our $900/night home backed up while we were showering- how disgusting, right?
Then they moved us to "suites": rooms were less than mediocre with cold water in the showers and a rude staff. Avoid!

Have been to the Inn many, many, many times. For drinks, dinners, live bands and dancing, as well as Sunday brunch.
Always felt like family and always had a fantastic experience here.
Both thumbs up !!

We were in town for the weekend. This was the only reasonable priced hotel available in the area, I booked it 2 weeks prior to our arrival. The front desk staff was welcoming. The rooms were nicely updated. The beds were were hard and the springs were noisy. We had neighbors that were playing loud music most of the afternoon and early evening. Luckily, it quieted down by 10. We did eat lunch at the Back Nine before heading home. All in all, it was a great stay, just a little pricy for the off season....

This was a great stop for our family. Good-sized rooms, ample parking, and a very quiet area. The rooms have hard floors so if you're bringing littles, a mat might be helpful. The bathroom was clean and everything looked recently updated. There are no bathtubs, just showers if that's a concern. The beds are comfy and they have both soft and firm pillows on the beds which is awesome. In the room are a small microwave, fridge, and coffee pot.

Due to COVID it's a little difficult to understand where the lobby is. They moved the restaurant tables in front, so you need to walk

We took a chance on this spot because SC places are known to be very expensive dives. This place was a bit off the main area which was just fine with us. We could drive anywhere within 5-minutes. Clean, nice grounds, decent price. It had all of the necessary amenities and a heated pool.

We try to stay in local establishments when ever we travel and we have found some rocks and some jewels - this was a jewel. It is a sprawling single level motel with parking right in front of most rooms. The place is dated, but well maintained and modern, sort of, rooms. The restaurant was adequate, the staff was friendly and helpful. There is still no 'full breakfast'. A quiet place off the beaten track, but close to place anyone would want to visit.

Room was nice and clean, beds a little high though. For persons with disabilities might be too high. Located in a good area off of the freeway. Grounds were nice for the most part depending on where your room is located. Rooms in 300 do not have a nice view. Swimming pool area nice, however swimming pool needs to be redone. Bottom peeling and doesn’t feel good on your feet…restaurant not open for breakfast, apparently many requests, yet still not open until 11am. Customer service was a little lacking. First time stay, wasn’t sure of amenities, for example that coffee and pastries served in

My spouse and I took my son up to see my mother in Santa Cruz for Labor Day and got this hotel room last minute from Expedia. For what we payed it was a perfect experience. Due to covid there was no free breakfast out, and the restaurant and bar was to go only. The hotel itself is decent and clean. The staff were all extremely helpful, especially the young man who worked the front counter at night. Our car did get hit while we were sleeping the first night and there were no cameras in that area of the parking lot so park at your own risk. Next time I am in town I will definitely be booking a room

Dan and his staff were absolutely wonderful and the Inn was perfect. After too many months of Covid-19, we were in need of a quick getaway from San Francisco.

We arrived late but were able to order a delicious dinner and sit outside enjoying the view.

We had a challenging but invigorating day golfing at DeLaViega and returned to enjoy a relaxing afternoon and another wonderful meal prepared by the Inn.

We will be back!

I am local and had some remodeling done in my home so we stayed here. Please read all the way through.
This property is really nice with a great rate. The rooms are all remodeled with vaulted ceilings, a nice big living space. A mini fridge and microwave. The bath has a lower wall, easy to step down into. I love that they provided extra towels and blankets :) Dinner was not the greatest and it was expensive but if you just need to get a quick bite to eat, then its convenient and worth it. The room I stayed in was ground level and had a place just feet away from my door to walk my service dog

This is my new spot to stay when visiting Santa Cruz. The employees are amazing, everyone greets you with a smile. This is my second visit and I just love it. I'm currently poolside writing my review. Its nice to stay a bit out of downtown and the boardwalk. You can easily get on the highway and get to Monterey/Santa Cruz/San Jose. They remodeled in the last few years and the rooms look incredible, modern and clean. There is a restaurant next to the check in desk with a full bar, that has happy hour from 3-6 and is open til 11. The pool is a nice quite retreat, once again clean and has cabana

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! Stayed 2 nights that resulted in 3 different rooms. No hot water in 2 rooms and no cable access in 2 rooms. We finally ended up with a room that had hot water, but no cable. I was told that they would comp our second night and they didn’t uphold that promise. We will not return.

Our stay was wonderful! We stayed here with our kids for a last minute overnight trip to Santa Cruz. The rooms are modern, updated, cozy with very comfy beds. The people here are very sweet and accommodating. The only thing that is a negative is that they didn't have an infant roll away bed available, but our kids were able to squeeze on the second queen. So not a big deal. One big plus is that the inn is the perfect distance from the boardwalk, providing peace away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The grounds are beautiful, lots of flowers and the inn backs up to beautiful hillside

Beautiful facility, comfy beds! The staff know the importance of your personal items. My daughters stuffed animal she has had for 9 years was swaddled in a blanket and tucked in waiting for us when we came back from our busy day. It really made our day to see that.
