Our spacious Standard King rooms, at 400 square feet, are our most popular room type. All of our Standard King rooms overlook Ballard Avenue offering views of the local neighborhood from either a Juliet balcony or large bay windows. Went here for a wedding this past weekend. The hotel staff was extremely rushy when taking away the family dinner servings especially when they had just brought it out. Within 10 minutes they took the entrees and sides away without asking anyone if they were done. I had to stop two separate servers from taking away my food when I was looking the other way during a family speech. Basically, if you can scarf down your food and not talk to anyone during the reception then this won't affect you. However, most guests had noticed it and had the same complaints. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ballard. The hotel itself was inviting from the moment you walked into the door and the service was great. The rooms were spacious and quality with incredibly comfy beds.
The gym and pool attached to the hotel were awesome but please be aware that its a fully functioning gym with members so we would advise to use it at off peak times when its less busy.
Would definitely stay again!

My wife and I are local, but stayed here the other night because we've been either commuting from Bremerton or sleeping in the NICU with our daughter - We could not have chosen a better hotel. First off, the staff were VERY careful to follow covid guidelines, which is extra important to us right now with a kid in the NICU. But every part of our stay was excellent. The room was beautiful, the staff were SUPER helpful whenever I needed something (in particular, Cody at the front desk is amazing), and we left feeling more rested than we have in months. Definitely stay here if you have the chance

I can't speak for the hotel but I attended a wedding on The Olympic Rooftop Terrace and it was wonderful. The venue is gorgeous with inside and outside service. The food was from downstairs and OMG I am still day dreaming about it. Passed appetizers included mini vegetarian lasagnas (what?!) and falafel balls. Dinner had a delicious beer salad, roasted carrots, pasta, pizza FOUR desserts and much more-ugh YUM! The service was top notch. One server helped me get a plate for the bride and groom and she snuck them away for a private table so they could actually eat and be together. If you are

Stayed in a courtyard suite for the night before and the night of our wedding. The room was gorgeous, and the staff was helpful in providing extra towels and a late cleaning of the room. In addition, the hotel provided us with a bottle of champagne and a note signed by all the staff congratulating us on our wedding! Would definitely stay again

Couldnt be more pleased with the service we have received from the staff at Hotel Ballard. We are having out wedding there in August and since the start of planning the team has been overly accommodating, flexible, quick to reply to all my questions. Jamie is taking care of the hotel block, she is wonderful!! The front desk has been welcoming and helpful each time i visit the venue for planning meetings. If you are getting married here or near the hotel i highly recommend booking your hotel block with them!

NO DOGS WELCOME at this property. The pretentious attitude of the staff at this hotel as pet unfriendly is uncharacteristic of what Ballard represents to this neighborhood. Ballard truly deserves much, much better. The owners should take their business elsewhere and turnover the property to much more loving folks. The Farimont and The W Hotel in Seattle are far more loving, understanding properties that love your dogs and pets; please take your business elsewhere.

I recently coordinated a wedding at Hotel Ballard. I was particularly impressed by the staff. Daneyla was kind, courteous, and professional throughout the evening. She even went the extra mile and brought out custom meals for the vendors to accommodate a couple dietary preferences. I hope to work with her and her team again soon!

The end of a camping trip. We decided to splurge and feel like ladies again. So worth it. Centrally located in a great neighborhood full of great restaurants, shops and bars. Amazing deep tub in room.
100% recommend!
Side note: Skip the next door "Ballard Inn"
It is more of a hostel. You might call it rustic, but the kind without charm. Run down.

We always reserve the rooftop courtyard suites with a fireplace and its just so perfect. Tons of restaurants, coffee shops, a movie theatre, a music venue and funky stores are all located in a quaint strollable neighborhood. Every detail is top notch down to the chocolate swedish fish in the room. We are frequent travelers and this is one of the best we've stayed and that includes the Vegas mega-resorts.

As they say, the devil is in the details, and Hotel Ballard takes care of that in spades. We loved the turn-down service and were so grateful we were able to check into our room a couple of hours early and allowed late check-out. Check in/check out was easy and the room (and the whole hotel) was just as stylish as you imagine.
The downstairs restaurant is one of our very favorite spots to eat.
We stayed here on our wedding night. Although we did not get married here, the room and lobby proved a perfect setting for our photos before the main event (as it was rainy outside that day

Booked suite same day through HotelTonight. Was a super easy check in process and staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated that the suite was right outside of the elevator. Room was modern yet had old French charm, and is located in a hip part of town with, what looked like, various night life options. Suite had french doors leading out to a private balcony. There was also a separate living room area with beautiful Elizabethan furniture and gorgeous fabrics and curtains.

What an amazing hotel. I am so impressed with how clean this place is, the spa feeling, the robes , slippers room service, bed , pillows, Big bathtub, incredible views, excellent service, so impressed. I don't even know what I can say it's absolutely stunning. The soaps in the room were so good that I took four showers in one day.
