I have been living at Summit Park for around three years now and my monthly rent of $1,230 is just not worth what I'm getting anymore, especially for a Studio. I feel like I am always having a maintenance issue that isn't resolved every month from problems with the garbage disposal to the air-conditioning not working. It's frankly embarrassing and I don't want to have people over because of it. Even the fronts of the apartment buildings are starting to look run-down. This place may be fun for young people right out of College, but is definitely not targeted at young professional. Really hope to

I have lived here for 3 years in February, and every single month there is something going wrong. From the air/heat being shut off, cable not working, water shut off off, electric shut off, anything, you name it. I had mold in my closet and it took them days to even come look at it. There are apartments getting broken into at gun point, then a couple weeks after that happening my boyfriends truck along with another truck in the parking lot were stolen out of the parking lot (yes the doors were locked). I was told “we’ll try to look at the camera footage today”. Going on 2 days of not hearing

Air conditioning goes out every time it is hot. An apartment was robbed at gun point and items are constantly being stolen. There is one security guard for the whole property who you never see. No cameras and no locks to the buildings outside doors. There is no sense of safety. They spend money on things that don’t affect the residents like painting doors and carpet in the building hallways but don’t spend money on the important things such as air conditioning and safety. WiFi is also terrible because you have to use Hotwire. Don’t move here if you ever have to work from home online. One

Complex has major security issues. Packages and belongs are stolen daily. There have been several break ins most recently a break in at gun point by individuals dressed as police. University City Housing reps told me they will "look in" to options to improve security. I have received this same form answer every time I call about stolen items or break ins for the past 10 months. Nothing has been added except increasing the safety guards hours. I was told that the cost of adding cameras or locks is too much because there are too many buildings. I would not chose to move here now

I moved here because I wanted to give it a try, despite all the negative reviews. But PLEASE believe the reviews you read. On paper, the apartment is amazing but since living here, it’s been terrible. AC unit is constantly down for “maintenance” which leaves your apartment over 80 degrees in the summer. The water is constantly being shut off for hours for “plumbing issues.” Maintenance just fixes things for the moment instead of actually doing something about it and fixing it the right way for the long run. There’s no communication or updates between us and maintenance. THE WIFI IS

I rented an apartment with Summit at the Summit park location. Their clubhouse alcohol bar is not a "safe bar". Residents that live and work here run the place, so lots of childish politicking. I didn't feel well for 4 months after trustingly frequenting the place.
Maybe eat the Dave's Food, but do not drink the water.
I wouldn't swing out here.
Cheap carpet throughout, was very rough.. The closets are small, but cute.
OPT out of the community "News" paper.

If you are looking for a place to live, continue looking. This last year living here has been awful. Our apartment was a mess when we moved in, our AC unit leaked so bad it required a tech to come out and vacuum half a gallon of water. Speaking of AC, we have gone over two weeks during a heat wave with the chillers breaking and poor communication on when they’d actually be fixed. Now, for some odd reason they decided to do additional maintenance on the chillers during another 90+ degree week. The chillers are done. Replace them. I shouldn’t be paying close to $2K and AC not work during the

Had numerous maintenance related issues since moving in. Including a leak and a full HVAC unit replacement. Additionally a indoor pool is advertised but is only available for half the year. Do you have family staying with you that would like to access the pool? Nope sorry you pay rent to have limited access to that. Wouldn’t recommend and have renters remorse as of right now. Make sure you’re careful walking around the outside areas because people like to break glass and leave it there. The only thing saving them from a one star review is maintenance was able to fix the issues relatively quickly

Full disclaimer: as a a resident of nearly a year although I am giving them an overall 2 stat rating, Alyssa and Greg have been super sweet and as helpful as they can be. Alyssa works in the leasing office and Greg works in maintenance. The pro's overall, the area is nice with a shopping plaza across from it, surrounded by nature trails, the complex itself has a pool, a gym (it's extremely outdated and dirty but i'll get to that), washer and dryer, patio/balcony, dog park, tennis court and an onsite clubhouse bar&grill. from my experience, when placing a maintenance request,

I recently toured at Summit Park, and was pretty shocked at the condition of the apartment that they were showing. This was a self guided tour, and upon walking in I noticed that the carpet was extremely filthy. I figured maybe they just needed a cleaning crew in there to vacuum up some leftover dirt.
As I started walking further through the apartment, I noticed that it wasn't ready at all. It almost appears as if the previous tenant moved out and they immediately started showing it without getting it ready first. The sink and tub had brown dirt, the bedroom carpet had a huge hole in the center

I moved here for work purposes. My mistake was NOT checking the reviews. July 2, 2019 My apartment was broken into (I suspect it was maintenance). A small amount of money was taken. The sliding door screen was… broken. The hvac door was damaged. Some keys were taken and trash all over the floor. I reached out to the management office and Alyssa suggested that I make a police report. Which I did. $230 of my security deposit was kept because of the damaged hvac door that I did not do. I have been trying to get my full refund yet Christina and Alex (female) are giving me the run around. Fast

My fiance and I lived at Woodmere for a year and had a great experience. It was a good apartment complex for our first apartment together. Very affordable! The amenities were awesome. They planned events all the time. Utilities were a fixed rate which is a m a z i n g. We had minor problems here and there, but management always responded quickly. I was worried about having Hotwire for internet because of the reviews - I work from home and almost never had issues. Linda in the Woodmere office was excellent and helpful from start to finish.

I moved in a couple weeks ago and let's just say the two words i would use to describe living here thus far is annoying and stressful. Everything reeks of pets, i know it is a pet friendly complex but the hallways and everything are stained and have a foul odor. Week 1 our sink broke, hot water was down for 2 days, and no electricity in the complex. All management had to say was sorry.... mind you this was all within our first week. Dryers never get your clothes dry and you have to pay for each cycle so if you do laundry you may have to pay 3-4 times. On top of that, you're lucky if you

My husband and I lived in S building which is in the back of the complex by Old Line Road. First grievance was the noise at insane hours and Im only 29 years old. Second, people didn't put their dogs on leashes. My Yorkie was attacked on one occasion and while walking to my car a dog jumped on me getting my freshly washed coat muddy. Finally, the laundry rooms aren't safe and look like dungeons!

Dog downstairs barks continuously. I'm moving out of this place soon.. word of advice- do NOT move into the M building. Apartments 1 through 6 otherwise you'll be hearing a Chihuahua bark all hours day and night. Management doesn't give 2 damns about it. My boyfriend and I work late nights- we don't get to bed until 3 and 4am and we are woken up at 7am to barking that doesn't stop for hours... if at all. Then the people in that apartment had the audacity to knock on my door at 1am because they were awoken by me coming up the steps and walking into my apartment, and proceeded

Current resident of Valley High (lived here 2 years now). Worst apartments ever. We’ve had a slew of downstairs neighbors and they all seem to smoke pot. Fine, smoke pot, I don’t care, but we can smell it in our apartment and not only do our neighbors not care, but management doesn’t care either. We keep asking them to seal our vents and they won’t… help us. Sending letters telling people to “stop smoking pot cause it’s bothering your neighbors” to people who don’t care about their neighbors isn’t working. There are numerous counts our

I might be a little biased because I live here :) But I recommend that anyone looking for a place to live and enjoy where they live it's perfect. Not just for young people or couples either, my husband and I are parents of grown boys & grandparents of 5 grandchildren. The fact that there's also a gym, fitness classes and a club house, you really don't need to go far from home for anything except the super market..

BEWARE! They raise the rent drastically every year. Important to know if you are looking for somewhere to stay long term. I enjoyed living here and the amenities. No complaints as far as over all living. I was looking forward to staying awhile, but the yearly raise in the rent was enough to convince me to leave.

Lived here for 2 years so far. They work really hard to sell you on the amenities, which, I admit, are good for what you pay. They have a swimming pool, gym, free yoga classes, and the bar / clubhouse with delicious wings.
What I really want, however, is a well-insulated home that isn't dingy, carpet that's properly tacked to the floor, a laundry room with clean, rust-free machines and a floor with no stale water, maintenance staff who actually do quality repair work and care about their jobs, neighbors with breeds that are actually allowed and on a leash, and dog waste bins that are

Looked here for apartments last winter. I think the online pictures were much nicer than what we saw in person. Example: The picture of the gym makes it look like a full scale gym, but when you go you are absolutely shocked to see that even the apartment living rooms are much bigger than the gym. The mirrors give the photo the affect of appearing huge. There were a few let downs like that, but overall we thought it was a pretty nice community with a decent location.
The units are adequate. I think the closet designs and doors are poor and the blinds seem old fashioned. There is new carpeting
