Pros: Close to the University of Kentucky and Public Transportation, Good area, no crimes. Reasonable price until you renew your lease, but I recommend this apartment for college students, but only stay for a year.
Cons: I’ve been having problems with my pipes since I moved here. When I moved in it was December which means its going to be cold and the pipes are known to freeze which is understandable. However, you can clearly see the tub has a crack and can feel the cold breeze blowing through, so my pipes were constantly freezing during the winter. Now, it’s summer time and I am still having

Older property, not well maintained. The rent is cheaper than the other apartments that are close to campus (the ONLY reason I came here), but the place badly needs renovations & updated amenities. Thin walls & floors mean you can hear everything your neighbors do. They have the smallest bathrooms I've ever seen & they're infested with mold. Leaks abound.
And I just had a backed-up pipe flood my apartment. Management could not be bothered to care. Emergency maintenance didn't fix the problem, so there was raw sewage in 3 inches of water throughout the carpeted apartment until the plumbers showed

Review changed from 4 to 2 stars due to change in mgmt. The new team (Malik’s and Alec) is a significant downgrade compared to the old team.
Also, only live there if you’re just looking for a temporary place because they increase the rent when you renew your lease, which makes the apartment no longer worth it after 2 years.
They’re also very manipulative and greedy. They charge $35/ hour for cleaning the apartment so if you want any of your deposit back leave it better than the way you moved in.
