This is my 3rd year living here, and I have really enjoyed my stay. The living area in my apartment is cozy and the kitchen/appliances are great. The location is the best part, I walk to campus every day and can easily walk downtown. Maintenance has gotten much better over the years, I’ve had all of my recent issues solved within a day, even in the middle of the night. This would be a 4-5 star rating if it wasn’t so dirty! When I moved in my apartment, it was not clean from the previous residents at all, which was not welcoming. We didn’t mind cleaning it and we have kept it very clean. We

The fire alarm has been going off for over 4.5 hours. No email, no nothing. Didn't have a sink for the first 4 days I moved in. Had workers in here putting up backsplash after I moved in. Amenities had been closed forever. Had to move into a hotel for 4 days because of renovation that were supposed to be done over the summer.

The management at this place leaves much to be desired. There are 500 college students working here and no one can take a message or return a phone call. We move in, nothing is as they promised it would be. Ratty couches, dirty carpets, horrible. They say they will fix it over fall break and provide a hotel room. Then they try to make the kids move out 2 weeks later. They

I took a tour with The Lex and LOVED it. I ended up signing right after. The staff was so nice and helpful, answered all my questions, and explained everything I would need for move-in. What really sold me was the kitchens! I INSISTED on getting granite countertops. I recommend checking them out. You won't be disappointed.

The Lex was sold at the end of Nov. 2020. New ownership has already invested heavily in the community. All units are being upgraded. The common area amenities are being completely overhauled. New pool furniture has been ordered. Commercial spaces are being leased.
Maiden City Brewery just leased two spaces for their Tex Mex Brew Pub.
It will take time to change the property's reputation from prior absentee owners. Please give it a little time. If you have comments, let the office know with a phone call or a visit.
