With a king size bed in the first bedroom, queen in the second and a pullout sofa in the living room, everyone can retreat and wind down with a bit of TV. This hotel is only good if you want to be down the street from Hollywood/Sunset Blvd. if you want to be near the touristy stuff it’s location is perfect! but the hotel was very outdated and the heat did not work in our room. the hotel bathrooms are kind of gross and honestly it’s not worth staying here. the only other good thing about this hotel is the parking underneath the hotel. It’s convenient but it’s not worth staying in an outdated and dirty hotel. staff was wonderful at all hours of the day!

We stayed at the Magic Castle Hotel so we could attend shows at Magic Castle. The perk was worth it but the hotel was a disappointment.
The rooms were very large but I felt the accommodations could be made to feel less cold. The furnishings were sparse. The walls and floors were not cleaned well. The walls needed repairing in many areas of our room. The living room light didn't work. We asked have it fixed. The young man said he didn't have access to supplies and it never got fixed.
The perk was the free snacks and popsicles. That was fun to ask for free snacks whenever we wanted

Checked in on Friday 10/12 for a short weekend trip. There is no deposit required and you pay when you check out. My family and I were celebrating my niece's 13th b-day, and I decided to go with this hotel because of the amenities offered. Despite some of the negative reviews I decided to go with the latter and give it a chance.
Cons: First room we're let in before 3 and my sister noticed wasn't cleaned. She saw dust on the table, the toilet had a yellow ring in it, and the plastic shower cover was dirty. We asked to to be moved and we'll enough we were moved to a second room

We really enjoyed our stay. This was the first of three hotels we stayed at in SoCal (one a 5* resort) and the service at the Magic Castle was superb. Any criticism would be that the pool was great (could be 2 degrees warmer in winter); the pull out sofa could be way better quality and, despite having a "full" kitchen, there are no coffee or tea tools in the room!
The other issue was that the hotel charged us twice for our stay as a pending charge, which caused some problems.
Despite that, we will be back for sure.

I have wanted to visit the Magic Castle for soooo many years and I finally found out that if you book a room at the Magic Castle Hotel, they can make reservations for you based on availability. I called the hotel to make sure I would be able to get reservations for the weekend I would stay and they were very helpful! They ensured I got my reservation (dinner and brunch) and sent me email confirmations.
On the day of check-in, I arrived around 6:00 p.m. and the check-in process was very easy. You can park your car in the 20 minute parking spot right in front while you unload your bags and check

A wonderland for kids and adults! We went on Saturday for the kids brunch.
As always, the service was impeccable and the staff entertaining.
The lunch was delicious and or server Gustavo made it special.
We were able to see 3 performances and then received a tour of the grounds. Can’t wait to go back.

OMG THE BEST - It took me a month to write this review, but just like our stay, it was well worth it. This place is an uncut gem. Not to mention the proximity to like, everything...it was really just perfect. We went for our anniversary, and they made us feel extra special.
True, it's an old property, but they've made upgrades, and they've invested heavily in customer service and charm! I honestly wish we'd stayed for more than just a night to enjoy all that there was to offer. The snacks, the 24 hr pool, the popsicle bat phone...i mean....

Affordable for the location, amazingly attentive staff, great for kids. In walking distance of hall of fame. They got this popsicle hotline phone by the pool, hilarious. Waiter comes out with white glove and tray to serve popsicle. Saturday they had a top notch magician doing tricks at the breakfast table to entertain the kids. Only downside is no electric car charging in the garage, but won't keep us from coming again.

My review is the 1,000th one here which is fitting for how great this place is! The staff are so friendly and there are so many perks and amenities it's incredible. A fantastic value for this area too.
Of course it is the absolute go-to if you're attending the performances right next door at the Castle. Even locals can affordably stay here after having their minds blown by the world-class magic.

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to the Magic Castle and hotel for my 30th birthday. Ethan, greeted us with a very warm welcome when we arrived. He deserves 5 stars for his excellent customer service. He was very good to us during our stay. The hotel was very cozy. We were very impressed by how spacious our room was, it was like our own little condo for the weekend. We loved that it had a kitchen, his and her closets, and his and her sinks. Thank you Magic Castle Hotel for accommodating us and extending our checkout time, and a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back! :)

This place is perfect for a family getaway. While the room we stayed at what clean and orderly, it needs a good scrubbing of the baseboards, walls, and bathroom. However, this place is wonderful and we will most definitely be back. The employees are absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy-in a kind way, not a car salesman way.
It was my son's birthday and they provided a personalized cake, candles, ice cream AND a box of magic tricks. The staff went over and beyond.

What a GEM, and the employees are GEMS, too! Decided to check out the Magic Castle Hotel for my second visit to the Magic Castle, and I was not disappointed. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite, and everything was awesome. 24/7 make your own soda machine and snacks galore (like Kit Kats, Cheetos, Chex Mix, Rice Krispie treats, etc.) are available in the main building. We missed this, but there was also an ice cream machine! WHUT!
When you're ready to visit the castle, a complimentary shuttle service (personal car) takes you up the hill.
