I've been bringing my vehicles to Bunge's for well over a decade. I've typically found them to be straightforward in explaining the situation with my vehicle, prompt in doing the work, and good at communicating the status of the repair or service.
Over the years, I'd come to know the guys at the counter well and they had built up some trust with me.

I had my oil changed. When i picked up my car i noticed oil on both front fenders by the hood. oil on the drivers door, outside and inside the door. Very unprofessional. I get the feeling they do not like their jobs here. This will be my last time going to this place.

Absolutely love Bunge's. I have come to them for a few service jobs so far and they are top notch!! Super friendly, and very helpful. Their prices are beyond fair and their service is fast. They even text you the next day to ask how everything went, I've never had a mechanic do that before, I am very impressed! I live less than a mile away and they are definitely going to be my go to service shop from here on out. I recommend them to everyone in the Elgin and South Elgin area!

...and I see nothing wrong with no masks!! I'm not here for any medical treatment, so no masks, no gloves needed. THERE is a sign on door if you have concerns you can leave keys in drop box and they will gladly call you ... they strive to respect all customers.

Came for an oil change and not a single person in the entire building was wearing masks. When asked if they wear masks one responded with "We can stay away from you if you'll like", then proceeded to cough all over their screen. Disgusting never coming back here again.

Talk about a bunch of Butchers the auto body shop Tredup's Brought my tire in to have a new rim and tire mounted on my 2020 Chevy Silverado at Bunge's tire and auto in Elgin due to an accident when I picked up my truck from the body shop I had requested the old tire and rim be returned to me for a spare they told me there was a core charge on the old rim which was weird because Dealers do not charge core charges on rims so I had to go to Bunge's and pickup the old tire only to find out the inner bead was destroyed when I confronted the service advisor he told me how do I know it

The ONLY reason for the one star review is that NO ONE wears a mask or gloves in this establishment. When a gentleman walked in and said he forgot his mask (who does that nowadays?) and was told not to worry about it, I had enough.
By the time I asked to cancel my appointment, they had already driven it to the back. I asked them to borrow their can of sanitizer and I left.

Just called to ask if bunges replaced headlights and I'm sorry i did. After talking to the guy who answered the phone for a couple minutes he stopped to ask me why i called. Really? Told him again and couldn't get a straight answer even after i told him the car year make and model. Think u can look that up on a computer. Price range was 20 to 200 wouldn't know until he looked at the car. Again look it up. Waste of my time. I will steer clear of this place. Need better customer service and a class on how to Google things.

Cant say enough about this shop and staff. Top notch service, affordable and extremely honest. When someone asks me if I know of good shop I always send them here. New owners are great! Gave me a few estimates on things I needed for my truck and were up front about what they were doing and whether I really needed the work. Their customer service was excellent! I highly recommend them for all your tire needs and brake work. The work they did was great. The amount of time was good but the pricing they gave me was phenomenal. I'll be getting my oil change and other maintenance work done there.
