I was at the shop quite some time ago when I lived closer I can't begin to tell you how friendly and helpful the owner was fix a tire for me so quick and got me on my way to work right away . I have sent other people to his shop and everybody tells me good things this is a great place to go for auto repairs

I was considering purchasing a used car and turned to them for help and T not only made the time to look it over on very short notice but gave a good and fair assessment of some things the vehicle needed and helped me make a good decision about the vehicle. I brought my car In with a/c problems. Thought it was the compressor . T looked at the car as soon as I brought it in. He said it wasn't the compressor and he will check it out.I also thought I needed new brakes. Any other place would have put in new compressor and brakes. They even picked my up at my house , now that is what I call serve and the price was very reasonable too

If you are looking for honesty this is NOT the place! A 75 year old lady has been a customer with them for years. They bought her car off her and pretty much stole it from her. Gave her only $300 because her window didnt work....turned around and tried to sell it to me for $3k until I told them I knew what they did to the lady and they then told me it wasnt for sale and hushed me out the door. Terrible people. Stay away. Only could imagine what else they are telling people is wrong with their cars. Call it 'business' all you want...thats not how you treat people, especially patrons.

I been looking for a trustworthy shop for awhile. I finally found it, "T" was very professional and addressed all my concerns. Took my car in for front end noise, as I suspected it was a bearing. T took it for a test drive and also was listening for other issues. He was detailed in the process and notified me of the repairs needed after the inspection. It ended up to be a bad bearing and also he found additional items that had to be addressed.
Worked in a timely manner and the price is very fair!

They got me in same day for brake repair and oil change. They offered to drive me home/pick me up while my car was being repaired. Good communication about their findings. Quick repair, they estimated a time frame and it was spot on. My final total came in under the estimate they gave me. Prices were fair. Overall I was very pleased with my experience!

I replaced my car battery but was unable to get the brackets securely tightened. I called Maks and they saw me right away and fixed the brackets. They also advised the terminals were not secure. They fixed everything. Extremely satisfied with their service and I will bring my car back for service when needed! Thanks! Angelo!

Not just another auto repair joint. Mak's is a family owned business and they treat their customers like family. They enjoy a challenge and want to keep cars running as long as possible. We've been using Mak's since they opened in Streamwood and have never had an issue with any repairs, and there have been many. Anything from oil changes, tire rotations, diagnostics, and more. Please keep in mind this is not a quick, or jiffy, lube chain. Great service, great people!!

We all need an auto shop we can trust. Well, this one is it. I found it on a day where my battery died. They replaced it on the spot with no problem. I just went back for an oil change and I couldn't believe I paid under $30. No pressure to upgrade to this or that. Just good service, in and out. Friendly and professional. Will be going back for sure.

I recently moved to the area and my 18 years old daughter's a/c blower kept going out. I took to Raj and he looked not once but, twice over 2 days and DID NOT CHARGE. He stated he couldn't take money for a loose connection. He replaced for free also stating this is his neighborhood too and would not cheat his neighbors. Honesty is rare in the car repair business. If ever you need your car fixed and you are in Streamwood, DO NOT go to Maks Auto Repair. I needed a wheel bearing. "T" at Maks said it was ok to bring my own parts in and he would only charge me labor. I did just that. Now 6 months later my wheel bearing is making noise again. Oh shock, I need the same bearing replaced. We took the car into another mechanic and he said there is NO WAY this part was ever fixed. It was old and completely rusted in and worn. I took the part back to the Auto Parts Store who looked at the bearing and said there is no way this part is six months old. The

I took the chance and figured that I would try them out. Now I only go here and have been going here for the last year or so. I've had previous issues with both my vehicles and my last mechanic was trying to rip me off and didn't realize it until I started coming here. Mak's Auto has saved me a lot of money in repairs that my last mechanic was trying to squeeze out of me. So they've earned my trust. They are also not pushy like other mechanics.
