I recommend this complex to everyone! The management and maintenance staff are great, especially during COVID. Almost daily I see the staff cleaning and maintaining the pool and any maintenance request is handled promptly. The package room is a great feature that was added this year (just in time for all the extra deliveries happening!). I feel like everyone here is friendly and the dog community is awesome. Location next to the Greenway is prime and it's nice to be so close to the lake.

Frequent power and water outages. Limited parking after 6pm. Appliances are old and break frequently. Packages not delivered in a timely manner. Ground floor smells like smoke. Locked front door frequently propped open (security risk). Packages left in a pile on the ground instead of in mailboxes. Management generally unresponsive until pressed to complete repairs. Will not be renewing our lease.

I've really enjoyed living at Calhoun Greenway. Yes, parking isn't the best, but I do find the staff to be attentive and friendly, our unit is nice and well taken care of. The location is great, and we've recently started using the Theater Room a lot, and glad to have the amenity. We just renewed our lease, too, because we do enjoy it. It's a good environment for our dog. Lots of friendly pups on our floor. The pool is great in the summer, but does get crowded with lots of drunk people in the summer on the weekends. So I tend to just go during the week. So far no issues with

I toured this property earlier this month and was told that the apartment I wanted would be available on the 11th. On the 11th I was told they hadn't even begun cleaning the apartment I was supposed to be living in and that it would be ready on the 17th instead. On the 16th they told me my German Shepherd could not live there due to breed restrictions even though they knew I had a German Shepherd from day one (it was even on my application). When I told them my German Shepherd is a SERVICE DOG they still would not allow him (which is completely illegal). So now our entire home is packed up

Great place to live. Clean building and great location. I'd recommend garage parking as the lot fills up fast. Lived here for almost 2.5 years and never had any problems. Only had a couple issues with my apartment during my time here and maintenance took care of them right away. I would definitely move back if it made sense.

I find it comical that the building manager says he is available for comment when I wrote a negative review, when in fact he lies about security concerns, does not answer or return emails, his staff is condescending and rude, and security after hours is still unavailable and the front door to this complex still does not lock after 2.5 months of calls and emails desperately asking him to get it replaced. Read below review for more details.

The only good thing about this place is the location. I just walked in to my apt with french fries all over the floor in the hallway in front of my apartment and a mc donalds burger, There is a guy passed out in the hallway. Literally, straight up passed out in the hallway . People here have no respect for other tenants. They leave trash in front of the trash chute if it is full. They cannot walk one flight of stairs down to leave it in the garbage bin. Hell, there is a elevator too, if you are lazy. Nope. They leave grocery carts in the hallway, even though there are multiple notices, that they

If I could give it less I would... to keep it simple, parking is atrocious; they do not provide adequate parking for residents, and have had to park MILES away on multiple occasions just to get to my apartment. Office and leasing staff doesn't give two f's when it comes to taking care of their residents and when you try to call the office, half the time you will get a busy signal even within normal business hours. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE

I live here currently - the apartment complex is wonderful and the people are all very nice. the amenities are extensive and clean and the apartments are well furnished and rooms are large. it's also a disability friendly building. the only downside is parking is impossible to find after 6pm on a workday. roadside parking is the only option and that too gets full really fast.

I was recommended this place by a friend and have been living here a little over 6 months. I absolutely love it. Sure, it's an older building and not right in uptown, but the amenities are great and parking is never an issue if you choose not to buy a spot.
There have been a couple small issues come up, but the maintenance and office staff are always quick to respond here have consistently gone above and beyond every time. 10/10 recommend if you want to live in a great location on a budget with a great management team.

The hallways smell of garbage. There have been assaults on the property, and management has not cooperated with police. Frightening. I left a small piece of furniture at end of staircase while moving in and it was stolen in minutes.
Tenants are rude to each other....they ignore each other in the halls and often slam doors in my face.

My lease is about to be up on studio apartment in this building.. bittersweet. I loved living here. Though they were going to increase my rent significantly, I might have renewed my lease if I decided to stay in Minneapolis. It was the only place I lived during my 11 months spent in Minneapolis. It opened at the end of 2013, so I was the first person to live in my apartment.
Pros:
-LOCATION: Right on the Greenway, right near 100. 5 minute drive to Uptown. Right by Whole Foods, Chipotle & Wakame Sushi. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk to Lake Calhoun from here.
