Allison Candelaria is an internationally known yoga teacher and the owner of Soul Yoga. She is a contributing writer and expert for Yoga Journal, has been featured in Shape Magazine, Mantra Magazine, and her studio has been voted best in the city multiple times. With over a decade of experience, Allison's vinyasa flow classes are anatomically informed and uniquely incorporate myofascial release techniques to balance the mind, body and breath.
The outdoor vinyasa classes have been a welcome retreat from the confines of quarantine life. Most days I roll out my mat under the shade of a tree but many yogis prefer the sunny spots reminiscent of a heated indoor class. The Soul Yoga team has managed to marry the energy of the studio with the tranquility of being outdoors in the open air.
Step 2: You will be sent an email before class to access the class online. Check junk mail or email us at with the class name, teacher, time, and studio if you didn't receive the link. If you can't find the link check your junk mail. You must be healthy in order to attend in-studio classes. Vinyasa classes are heated & masks are optional.
Soul Yoga offers a 200 hour RYT Teacher Training Program and Continued Education courses for current yoga teachers. Participants are required to attend all seven session in order to complete the 200hr program. All participants must be approved by application. The Soul Yoga 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training is designed to generate highly qualified teachers.

Great experience. Clean, and appealing. The instructor was fantastic and I enjoyed being able to schedule my class on the app. I am not a yogi by any means; everyone there knew way more than me (taking about the other customers) but the environment was very friendly and judgment-free. They will provide as much help and guidance as you would like to receive (let them know your level and what you expect).
Emily is Gaga bout this place and goes about 5 times a week. I have never seen her going back to May other place so many time... as in for anything. She does tons of yoga and says great things

So my friend and I bought a Groupon here. It was suppose to be a 30 day unlimited. We bough and immediately set up two dates. The first class was great. The second class no one showed up and we got zero warning it had been cancelled. I went by the studio several times with no one there. I tried multiple times to use their online app through Groupon and their website to sign up for another class. It never worked for me or my friend. Anyway it was pretty much a waste of 90 dollars. (36 for me and 50 for her.)
Update- they did contact me to correct.

Soul Yoga is a wonderful studio with fantastic, and very knowledgeable instructors! They safely challenge , encourage, and help you. They cater to novice beginners through elite athletes. The myofascial release classes have also helped me tremendously! Everyone can feel welcome here, and get their particular yoga level needs met. I love the variety of classes and special trainings offered. It’s a rare gem in the heart of NW OKC that I am SO happy I found! This studio will help take you beyond yoga and meditation. You will relax, improve, and strengthen Body, Mind, & Spirit! Give Soul Yoga a try

By far Soul Yoga is my favorite yoga studio in Oklahoma City. The instructors are able to move quickly through the flow while also staying attentive to the students.
However, when taking anything other than a beginner class the instructors will assume you know each pose and won't spend too much time correcting students unless they see they're way off.
Just walking through the door you're already more relaxed. There are many different class options to choose from ranging on your experience level and whether you want a challenging class or maybe something slower.

Looks like it is time for me to update this. :) Soul Yoga is an amazing spiritual journey. I can't tell you how many times my eyes get watery from the emotions I feel. I'm not the most technically advanced yogi (any kind of arm or hand or headstand, I'm just not there yet), so I can tell you from a somewhat beginner yogi (but not that beginner - yoga has been in my life for years now, so I can close my eyes through the whole thing) that this is a great place for everyone. There is hot yoga and not so hot yoga here (I kind of like the totally drenched in sweat classes myself), and

A Fun Fitness Yoga Trip
Upon returning to OKC a few years ago I was pleasantly surprised that yoga had caught fire. I have practiced yoga since the 70s motivated by an injured back, but I have also embraced the 5,000 year old science of life as a spiritual practice (not a religion). I had never tried a heated class and I attended Soul Yoga classes for a good while. Yes, you sweat and exercise, but ultimately yoga is vastly more than fitness. First, the Soul Yoga space, staff and teachers are super nice. So are the people in the classes. So am I (most days), but there are two overriding issues

So this review may jolt those who are loyal followers of Soul, but I hope to provide a different perspective for those who are new to yoga or this studio. I have a 17-year background of teaching within the fitness, self-defense and yoga world, and have gained my C.P.T. and 200-hour Yoga as Therapy C.Y.T. So I'm reviewing my experience from a bit of a different angle.
Let me start off by saying that the studio is beautiful--immaculate floors, paint, bathrooms. It is definitely a lovely space and had an upbeat energy upon walking in. The teacher was very friendly upon my arrival, and I

This is probably my favorite hot yoga studio in Oklahoma City. It's challenging and a great workout, without being unbearably hot and impossible to complete a class. I consider myself to be active and in shape, but I find other hot yoga studios in the area to be very high level. Soul Yoga offers classes at all levels and it's always a good time. A student class is only $8, which is a great price for a yoga class. I definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in trying hot yoga!

This has been my favorite yoga studio to practice at so far in OKC. I've mostly just taken class with one of the instructors, Lisa, just because of when she teaches but I also really enjoy her classes and the awesome music playlists she creates! I had always been a bit hesitant to try hot yoga but I've found that the soul yoga hour gives me the best workout and a great sweat detox. They also have classes without heat and one that is particularly good is the relax and renew class. Something unique about Soul Yoga is they offer healthy meals that you can order each week called "soul

Last year I bought a groupon for 10 sessions and I was so nervous to try yoga for the first time in my life. I fell in love with Soul Yoga! I discovered yoga was more of a mental challenge than a physical one. I learned that my body was ready to try harder poses while fear tried to hold me back. I'm thankful Lauren gave good instructions on postures and transitions and taught the importance of a solid core. Shannon's yin classes were my absolute favorite. Every night after her yin class I noticed I slept very well the next day. She has the perfect attitude and demeanor. I now live in

Om my goodness. This place is amazing. Tonight was my first yoga class in almost a year and I had never been to Soul Yoga before. I signed up for Soul Yoga Hour with Shannon via their website and paid the student price ($8). The description for Soul Yoga Hour states that it is perfect for all levels....well I beg to differ just a smidge. It was a pretty advanced class. Thankfully I was able to keep up the majority(ish) of the time. Ohhh well except for the part where I almost passed out coming up from a death pose but I'm contributing that to the fact that the room was 100 degrees, not the

I'm new to OKC and pretty new to yoga. I went to Soul Yoga for the first time today and had a really good experience. The class was mixed, which I liked because it allowed me to see what I was supposed to be doing. Lauren, the instructor showed poses and then also walked around assisting people do the poses correctly. The yoga was hot, but not overly so and the music was a nice mix. The studio style is modern, it has one room for yoga (and two restrooms) and was very clean. I took my own mat and towel but saw they also had them available to rent. For some reason, Yelp won't let
