Services
Vinyasa (or Vinyasa Flow) refers to the way this style of yoga keeps you moving from asana to asana, linking each pose to an inhale and an exhale. We link movement and breath to help attain balance in the mind and body. In a Vinyasa class, expect instructors to keep the flow of movements smooth and continuous, which is great for helping you stay present.
Join Shannon Stephens for a 20-hour Yin Immersion at The Olie Gathering Place in Oklahoma City. Learn basic and more complex principles of the Yin practice through an Eastern and Western lens. This introspective immersion is a chance to disconnect from the daily routine and re-establish balance within the body.
The source of our pain is not always where it's felt. Trigger points in the muscles and fascia can refer pain around the pelvis and lower back. Learn how to identify the cause of pain, release tension, and restore balance through safe and effective practices. This online course includes lecture and experiential practice.
This Land Yoga 200-hour teacher training is a vinyasa-based program that offers a solid foundation in yoga philosophy, technique and practice, applied anatomy, and teaching methodology. Deepen your personal practice and empower yourself. This Land is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School and is licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Private and Vocational Schools.
Like so many other businesses, we closed our doors at the start of the pandemic and quickly went to work coming up with a way to stay connected to our community. We now have nearly 300 classes in our evergreen library, and the collection has become an integral part of our services. Each subscription allows us to add fresh, new content.

This is a beautifully designed studio with excellent instructors. They offer challenging classes with great variety but also provide modifications and beginner level classes. I love the online platform that allows me to practice from home or during travel

As a newbie, I was nervous to take a class. I’ve been an at home yogi for a bit and have really enjoyed the on demand classes so I talked myself into doing an in person class.
Amazed. Everyone was so welcoming. Helped me get settled in and then it was smooth sailing. Not to mention the studio was so clean too! By the time class was over I felt like a new person and realized where my yoga home was going to be.
Also, I totally recommend trying all the different classes. The instructors are all incredible and each have their own special talents. Namaste.

Best yoga studio in okc with multiple types of classes and a variety of teachers. Most important they are well educated in body alignment. I used the online classes in 2020 due to being immune compromised and they were great as well.

I would give zero if I could. This is the second time that I've tried using ClassPass. The first time, they had their old address on 23rd, so I called to get directions (no answer) and now today, I used credits for a 6P vinyasa and I arrive at 5:30 with the doors locked, despite all of there listings showing their hours are until 6:30P. I called again (and you guessed it - no answer). Such a frustrating experience.

Get it together and keep your hours accurate on all platforms.

I was not in a good headspace as a result of the pandemic when a friend suggested I get in on some yin yoga. I Googled and found This Land Yoga and they happened to have a yin class the next day. Serendipity! I've attended two classes so far and I'm very happy I found this place. Not only is it beneficial for mind and body, but it's also a way to reintegrate into being around other humans in a not overly social way, post pandemic. The instructors are lovely, friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to many classes to come.

I have only experienced one session, but wow has everyone been friendly and welcoming! I decided to incorporate yoga into my routine as I am a low motivation stretcher in general, and to strengthen other parts of my body as I'm already a bit of a runner, and the first session did not disappoint! I really enjoyed the calming studio, the friendly patient instructor, and the opportunity for introspection and an alternative way to work my body!

Every time I go to This Land Yoga, I feel at ease. I took a class with a new teacher and she shook my hand before class started. One teacher who I only met once remembered me and the fact that I was a public ed teacher. I have NEVER found that in another studio. I feel safe and welcomed.

Great yoga studio - the studio itself has great floor and provides mats and supports if needed. I have done their classes at the Botanical Gardens on several occasions which is wonderful. Recently I did the Saturday yoga class at Hotel 21c - art museum in a hotel. Yoga surround by cool art - such a neat experience. Surprisingly not too loud or distracting. Comes with a mimosa so great value! I would have benefited from a thicker mat as the floor was concrete unlike the studio's cushy wood floor.

This Land is very special. Shannon Stephens is the best yoga instructor I've ever had. She somehow creates an artistic flow where all the moves just seem to flow seamlessly into one another leaving your body feeling refreshed, strong, and and pain free. I've taken classes from the other teachers as well and have been pleasantly surprised at the consistency of qualified and likable instructors. I wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend This Land studio!

This Land has been on my yoga radar for a few years since many instructors I've taken class with also teach here. Last year they were offering a free class daily around Thanksgiving, so I took that opportunity to finally check them out. They did that again this year which recently brought me back.

The studio is in the building above Pizza 23/Orange Leaf, and you enter through the back to go upstairs. I really like the how windows line the front of the studio. It allows a great natural light during the daytime. They offer a large variety of classes with an abundance of times to choose from

I love this yoga studio. They have such a variety of types of classes, starting at 6:00 AM! I felt so rejuvenated after going to the early morning class! I felt so empowered.

The studio also has specifically events. A few months ago they did a "New Moon Class!" They are doing a "Harry Potter Yoga Class!" I want to go so badly, but I'm out of town!!

Come and work out!

Quality teaching, good schedule, great location, clean studio, great staff. Good variety of flow styles, from the more relaxed flexibility oriented classes (all-levels) to the fast paced sweat-inducing classes. Lisa is an awesome teacher and ambitious owner, and all of her teachers have been excellent. Great vibe, and good balance of physical with mindfulness teaching.

I had the best experience at This Land. I was driving cross country and after a 4 hour drive behind me and a 6 hour drive ahead, I knew I needed yoga.
The teacher, Joe from England, was welcoming, skilled... and I even learned something from him after having taught yoga for nearly 20 years in San Francisco. The studio owner, Lisa, was there to take a class and we connected instantly.
The studio is really clean, quiet, and totally suited for yoga.
I loved my experience there, and for a minute, thought I should have moved there instead of SC.

Here's the deal. I live in California but I found my yoga studio in Oklahoma. Challenging 1,700 mile commute :-D I love this place so much. Every teacher is inspiring and different. Lisa rocks my world with a super upbeat, fun powerful style that I find radically energizing. Meagan is also very talented and innovative. This studio puts the emphasis on you and your mat and your practice. Ego is outside of this space. Beautiful.

Was passing through okc and stumbled across this gem of a yoga studio. So warm and welcoming from the second I stepped foot into the lobby. Did an hour heated flow that was challenging and fun. Lisa is a killer teacher providing great adjustments and an awesome vibe. If I'm ever back in the okc/uptown area I will definitely make a point of coming by to catch a class. If you live in the area do yourself a favor and check out a class.

The studio is filled with natural light and is beautiful, just as the class was. We went to Megan's 10 a.m. Sunday flow class which was amazing. The class was fast and sweaty (just as she said it would be) but there was also time to explore new poses and get a full stretch. Megan's teaching was high-energy and innovative as she introduced us to many new transitions that made the class feel fresh. We would go again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone looking for a high-energy vinyasa flow with hands on adjustments and a warm, attentive, and talented instructor!

This is one of my favorite yoga studios in Okc. The studio itself is beautiful, with exposed brick walls and great natural light. The instructors are also the best around, whether you need hot flow or restorative yoga, they have any type of class you are looking for. They also have mats available, as well as all of the props you may need. Although they do not have a restroom located in the studio, they have two changing rooms, and there is a public restroom located down the hall from the studio. I love this place and I am sure you will too!

I was in OKC for only a few days and while I have been practising yoga for a couple of years now I have never been to a studio before. Never been to a real class because hey, that was for wimps! LOL I was wrong!

I went two mornings in a row, the first was a pretty decent class at 9pm which gave me a lot more respect for "real yoga" as my friend put it. Then On Sunday with Claire I was put through my paces. I was worked out HARD and it was awesome!

This place is a little wonderland hidden amongst the interesting neighbourhood that it finds itself in. The first day I went I really could

This Land Yoga comes in as a close second/tie as my favorite yoga studio in OKC. I did the 10 days for $10 new member pass, and so far I've gone to the Vinyasa 2/3, Align and Flow, and Continual Flow classes. I enjoyed the Vinyasa 2/3 class with Chelsea the best. When we went into child's pose and shavasana, she adjusted my back and shoulders perfectly to where the stretch felt amazing. The Align and Flow class is really good for getting down the foundation of poses and going into them slowly. I'd say it's a less intense class as far as movement goes, but really teaches you
