I love this studio! I’m a total newbie to yoga, and I have felt at home here since day one. It’s hard to describe the feeling I get when I finish a class…. but I’ll say I have an overwhelming sense of accomplishment, peace, calmness. It’s one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done for myself, and I’m grateful to have found this space. ❤️

I am totally new to yoga and I had an amazing experience at The Yoga Box! Lisa was leading my class and even though I was brand new, she made sure to help me along the way and correct my form when needed. I was nervous at first, but now I feel more confident every time I go. I do the 6AM Friday classes and it is such an amazing way to start my day. It's physical challenge, but also so relaxing and a great way to clear my mind. I totally recommend giving this studio a try!

I'll start by saying my experience is probably different from most. From my perspective, the studio gets too crowded at times. Also, you'd better know what you're doing, even in the beginner classes, which there are very few. They move fast and there's very little assistance offered.
I like restorative yoga, but that is very hit or miss depending on the instructor. The other reason for this review is I actually paid for private lessons and didn't receive all of them. When I contacted them about this, I was pretty much blown off and told I had until May to use what

As yoga newbies, my friend and I were a little hesitant, but the first class was free, so why not? I was late due to traffic and they were ok with it, which was super nice. Very friendly staff, not condescending to new comers at all, totally not intimidating. Classes are taught such that both New and experienced yogis can benefit and work at their own levels. The heated (85* or so) warms the body, but doesn't suffocate. I bought an unlimited 10 day pass after the first free class and went 5x. I plan to buy the monthly unlimited next. Highly recommended.

A fun, inviting and happening space, the Yoga Box vibe is ideal for every body (even squares and cubists). My flow class with Lisa earned five stars, a challenging experience that was exactly what I needed. OKC is blessed with many great yoga studios and teachers. The Yoga Box is right there, only minutes from my house, and I have passed it many times cruising through 50 Penn Place. A friend suggested I check it out. Do yourself the favor, as I did, and drop into the flow of the Yoga Box tribe.

I came in for a 12:30 class on Friday and I loved it! The room was warm but not super hot, the pace and difficulty of the class were exactly what I would expect from a level 2, and the cues were clear and easy to understand. I felt really comfortable in the class and the teacher called me by name even though I had never been in before. Overall, a wonderful experience. Next time I'll grab some food on the way out! It smelled amazing!

I have been attending The Yoga Box as a newbie for almost 3 months. This studio is amazing, and full of encouraging staff members. They provide a variety of classes, offering alternative poses for any level (child's pose to crow). Instructors take time during the session to correct postures, including physical adjustment, verbal advice and providing examples. The Yoga Box has mats for class use and rental. They even prepare food at their establishment- perfect pick me up after morning yoga (yes, coffee)! You will love this place as a beginner or advance student; regardless, this is a place where

I've been to several studios and yoga classes in Okc but this studio is the absolute best. The Yoga Box defines yoga. The words, smells, senses, movement, sounds-everything about it is perfect. Practicing with the instructors here have really helped improve my strength, flexibility, posture and ability to lift heavier weights. I highly recommend checking them out!

I just LOVE these two girls, and this studio that is their heart. As someone at a very beginner level, I've found this to be such a safe and open place to learn. Lisa and Hialee are just incredible at sensing… exactly what their students need, and are able to challenge each person on their own level. I've been able to slowly develop my practice here, and even reluctantly learn to love yoga! Also the location is convenient and accessible from downtown. And the food. Just try the food. All of it. :)
