Pros and cons....
PROS
Management is quick to address issues or requests you may have.
Maintenance men are super friendly and get the job done quickly and correctly.
Neighbors for the most part are very friendly and it's pretty quiet here.
Convenient to all stores and restaurants.
CONS
This place needs security and a cleaning crew.
Constant homeless pretty walking through the apartments and/or sleeping in the pool area at night.
Trash is never cleaned up. I've seen masks laying around for weeks. Random debris everywhere that will not be addressed. I know I mentioned management

Rancho Serene is an excellent place to live ! Jackie Demlow is an terrific Manager and her staff have been superb ! My maintenance request is always taken care of and fixed with no down time.. I've lived in a few different complexes sine 2010 and Rancho Serene beats them all !!!!! Love

I've lived here in a 3br/2ba since October of 2017 and still a current resident. I love Rancho Serene Apartments and both the office and maintenance staff is great. Conveniently located to EVERYTHING!!! Like my family and I literally walk across the street to get dinner when I'm tiered of cooking lol. I've never had a bug or rodent issue but I also clean my home often and take my trash out every night. My fridge broke once while I was at work and by the time I got home the maintenance staff had replaced my fridge and the office staff gave me a follow up call to be sure which was

Apartment has no cameras to catch bad ghetto people who broke two of my neighbors cars windows and what if mines is next or the car next to it? Then whats going to happen?! Nothing! Management didn't help. 1300 a month rent with no survailance on buildings or security or 900 a month rent with survailance with security every night. I'd rather choose somewhere else with 900 a month with survailance camera rather than this place. So I can't wait till the lease ends!

This is the worst apartment ever in las vegas .. full of roaches everywhere in my apartment, i would say its not safe for my 2kids living in an infected apartment, rent was so high 1300 to the point thinkin of it, it wasn’t really worth it , and the other day my car just got window smashed and management won’t do any action for it. No surveillance camera or any security patrol monitoring around here. This is not a safe place apartment!!! I cannot wait til my lease end on July!!!

This is just a basic apartment complex. Nothing about the apartments themselves is special. They are a little tacky. The person who painted our cabinets didn't bother to take off the knobs so they are covered in paint. The appliances are cheap. However, I have lived here a year and never had a bug infestation problem. I don't know what these reviews are talking about. I had ants once but I did once at my old house. It can happen anywhere. Rude staff. They charge for everything. When you finish your lease they try to make up damages make sure you do a wake though with the manager before turning over keys and video record it. Otherwise they will attempt to screw you over they did it to me but I recorded the walkthrough and took them to court and they still owe me $1,200 for my deposit have to take it to small claims

As you can see in the pictures,this is what happened to my unit this evening. People broke into my apartment using the slide door, which we always keep it locked, took all my cash. So I checked out over 20 places for sale and this was my favorite in the price range. I believe a 2br was $980-1000 including covered parking. Detached garages $100. Had a decent pool/jacuzzi area. Units were very clean and spacious for the price point. I visited complex twice. Complex seemed very quite. Water/trash/sewage was $45 flat rate. Jackie was one of the better leasing agents I saw out of the 20+ I dealt with. If this is the higher end of your price range i'd recommend it. It is also (for my preferences) a pretty good location for the price point.

The property was good when we first moved in and we stayed at least two years with no problems. Then with constant management changes everything started going downhill. Lived upstairs and the concrete steps on our stairwell had broken and it took threats to management to get them replaced. You would have to step up to the third step to start up the stairwell. Our car was broken into as well as the neighbor kid vandalized my motorcycle.I don't know if the have become a section 8 property or not but the quality of people they are now allowing to move in is terrible. Constant music blasting at all

My boyfriends friend moved into the rancho apartments within the last week and had us come over to do a housewarming party. His apartment was about 800 square feet, 2 bedroom - pretty standard apartment had a couple dings in the wall and a couple stains on the carpet, for just moving in it was not up to my standards. The location is centralized even though its right off of Eastern Avenue which is a madhouse between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. The cool thing is it's pretty close to parks and lots of shopping. Plus he's super close to daisho sushi which is a great sushi spot on the corner of warm

I waited until our entire experience with Rancho Serene was over before leaving a review. At first, we were happy with this apartment community, but I do not think I would recommend living there. The management was nice, however they did not resolve the issues with our apartment.. bugs, cabinets falling apart, fireplace never fixed. After moving out, we received a bill from a collection agency, but Rancho Serene never even sent us a statement that we owed them anything (I imagine from whatever repairs that were left in the apartment that we asked to be fixed several times but never were, and now

My family and I have lived here for nearly two years and are only leaving due to moving closer to my job. The manager, office staff and maintenance crew are excellent. Friendly, warm and get things done on time. Our part of the complex is clean and the families are quiet and respectful. I wouldn't say the apartments themselves are "luxury" but they are clean and well maintained. It is central to good schools, plenty of shopping and RTC lines. All in all we are happy with the past few years spent here.

I have been living in Rancho Serene since April and this has definitely been the nicest staff I have ever dealt with in any apartment community. The location is great, tons of shopping and restaurants around, close enough to the strip or casinos for fun but far enough away to not deal with that chaos all the time. The apartments are big and clean, nothing special or unique, just a normal nice apartment, pretty much exactly what you will find anywhere else, and exactly what you would expect for the price. Pros: Great staff, quiet community, great location, good price. Cons: The jacuzzi sucks

Seriously? This place is a joke. "Luxury apartments?!?!" I don't understand what is so luxury about these apartments when everything about this complex is GHETTO!! I do not recommend living here unless you're fine with the appliances falling apart literally every week. Also i've never had such creepy neighbors, the ones across always looking through my windows as they walk down the stairs, and the one down stairs who stalks us through his window as we come home or walk out side!!!

If there was an option for no stars, I would put no stars. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The managers here are SO rude to you and try to steal your rent money. I turned in my rent money one month and that same month they tried telling me that I didn't pay them. The same girl who took my money order accused me of this. Are you kidding me?! I never answered to their letters that they would leave on my door and REFUSE to give them an extra grand THAT I HAD ALREADY GIVEN THEM. Hahahaha WHAT A JOKE!!! Go out and get a job like the rest of us instead of trying to take hard working people's money!!!!!!

As promised, I'm writing an updating my review. While I am still disappointed with the situation that occurred from my moving out date till now, I am pleased to write that after I made my call a week ago and was informed by the lady who answered that she will inform her manager, I did receive a call later that day (or maybe it was the next). Today, I did receive my refund check. * I’ve lived in several apartments throughout the Las Vegas valley and this one easily had the worst flushing toilets. I frequently had to use a plunger and toilet snake.
* Upon move-in the microwave and clothes dryer were not functional.
* Lacking cupboard space
* A lack of speed bumps on the back row of the complex allows for frequent speeders.
* The parking situation is abysmal; especially on the back row of the complex. There are exactly 4 uncovered spots on the entire back row. Be prepared for you and any guests you have to frequently make long hauls between apartment and car

We did most of our business over the phone to set up our contract, and when we showed up in person to sign contracts, they told us our rent had dropped $50 since we last talked. I was very impressed with their honesty. We live on the top floor in the front of the complex. Any problems we had when we moved in were taken care of almost immediately (washing machine was disconnected, easy fix).

My husband and I were really excited to get an apartment here. We first found the place because I work very close, it would be perfect to walk to work. One of the managers showed us a WONDERFUL apartment that we fell in love with. It was great, we loved the location, the décor, etc.. We put in our application and waited to see.
