The absolute worst apartment complex/community I have ever lived. The rent is extremely high for what the complex provides. Plus, the GRU bill is astronomical. The customer service is garbage. If you plan on moving out good luck ever getting your security deposit back as they do provide a phony itemized list of damages. We had a fingerprint left on the sink that they charged me for!!! TERRIBLE!!! Do not recommend to anyone looking for a good place to live. Now cue robot corporate response from management:

I have nothing negative to say about the Bartram. The past 5 years were a great stay. Thank you to the staff for always accommodating and responding to my request in a timely manner.

When I first moved here I loved the building and community, almost 2 years later, I can't wait to move out. Very expensive for what I get since most of the amenities are closed. We can't have not even 1 guest which doesn't seem fair to me, then the pool table is closed, this doesn't make sense since there are many places open now to play pool. There is new management and it seems like they don't have their priorities straight. I received a letter for not wearing a mask within 24 hours of not wearing it, yet when I need maintenance to come to my apartment to fix the refrigerator, it took them over

Do not lease at this place, oddly had massive identity theft right after I filled out my personal information. Office claims no wrong doing but where else would someone get it?!?!

I lived in the Bartram for two years and Dylan the assistant manager definitely made our time very enjoyable. Our fridge broke randomly one morning and I was very upset so Dylan had maintenance bring us a new fridge in under an hour from when I called. He has helped us throughout our entire time in the Bartram even until the end. We had an important letter and he was going to help forward it to our new address just to help us out. He was honestly the highlight of Bartram. There is another really nice employee and I never got her name but she was always fixing the coffee machine and cleaning the

I am currently seeking legal action as the terms of my rent have not been upheld for months. I work and go to school online since the pandemic and my internet connection in my room has been poor to non-existent. I have spent probably 8+ hours on the phone with the office, cox, gru, and I have missed out on thousands of dollars in income. I have also had a disgusting roach problem that required 10+ visits from pest control, as well as mold leaking from the ceiling in my bathroom coming from the toilet upstairs. The staff is generally very friendly and attentive, but this has been a truly and thoroughly

You will suffer if you sign here. The office staff are ok, the actual staff in Miami are extremely rude and unhelpful. Additionally, they are very disorganized and seem to lack any ability to keep track of necessary paperwork. The buildings are so dirty and outdated despite the recent refurbishments. Staff and handymen are prone to walking into your apartment unannounced with no warning. I imagine this can be especially alarming for young women looking for a safe place to live. I have receipts of their abusive treatment but there are too many to post. Avoid this place at all costs. Would give it

Amanda was a tremendous help to us in the search for an apartment. We were traveling from out of state and needed to make concrete plans in a very quick time frame, Amanda made this all happen without any hiccups. The professionalism shown by Amanda in her tour and subsequent handling of our financial information was a pleasant surprise in today’s world where details are often overlooked. Our daughter will be in a residency at UF for the next two years and we feel very relieved to have this all taken care of. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The manager came out to speak with us

The Bartram is the best place to live in Gainesville Florida! As a dental student I could not wish for a better home while balancing the tough courseload. From the front staff to the maintenance team, everyone treat you like family! I have noticed that the maintenance team goes above and beyond and always puts in the best work so the problems get solved in the timeliest of manners!

Darren, Bill, Derrek and the team are beyond thoughtful and help whenever they can! Work orders are completed faster than I could even imagine.

The quality, esthetics, and services offered go above and beyond. It

Moving with our company, made a trip up in December and during our tour here all the staff members were very nice and told us everything we wanted to hear. We decided to put a hold on a room an do an application online, as they told us to do. Later we drove 3 hours back to find out that everything we were told in person was wrong. We had to make another trip to Gainesville to look at more apartments and decide to clear things up with them. Manger was in the back and made staff walk back and forth like we were in a car dealership.I explained that we wasted a trip up of money and time. We are glad

This is my second year living here and I really do love it!
Aesthetics:
Pros - beautiful exterior, gardening is on point, looks like an upscale and classy place
Cons - hallways and stairs are a bit dirty (maybe should be cleaned more often)
Amenities:
Pros - 2 awesome pools, clean and spacious gym, great dog wash and dog park (too bad my dog is a grump), lots of grills, fantastic study and meeting areas. overall all the amenities cater to everyone!
Cons - would love some sort of smith machine for squats in the gym (more advanced equipment), what is happening by the lake? I saw the construction

This is a beautiful apartment complex and one of the best in gainsville BUT it takes forever to get anything done. I've lived here for over a year and have had to endure multiple noise disturbances from my neighbor. I've put maybe about 10 noise complaints and nothing has ever gotten resolved. Besides that, I've had to go through over a month of renovations from the hurricane and the maintenance was a disaster. Nothing was covered up and dust marks was left all over my furniture which caused me to have allergic reactions. Aesthetic wise, nice place but your requests might never be

Looks great when you are given the walk through but the office staff is just horrible! They do not respond to requests... it takes time after time to get anything done. The maintenance staff is good, when you can get them. Even the General Manager isn't much help at all. Stay away. It only looks good. But once you are in.. you are stuck for the duration of your lease!
