Would you like to live somewhere where things are constantly broken with a desire to live somewhere with poor standards ???? If yes, Riverfront is the place for you!
What they might fail to tell you when you move in or misrepresent:
They love to tell new residents that the property is being upgraded but you will soon learn that is not true. Example, the elevators have been getting remolded for at least 6 months.
No signs on broken dryers- even if you see a certain amount of dryers do not assume you will get to use one. Since there is no signs and uneven ratio of working washers to dryers you

Do NOT move here!! I am currently moving from Orange County to Sacramento. Mind you, we are also in the middle of a global pandemic, & all travel is restricted & most apartment complexes are not even doing in person tours, for the safety of their staff, residents & potential residents.
I reached out to this complex, because I was very interested to submit an application for one of their units, I was even willing to give the holding deposit at time of application, as I had no doubts I that would be accepted. I make more than the minimum they require & have great credit. I first emailed the complex

My wife and I lived here for 5 years along with our pitty. We were pretty quiet and kept to ourselves. There are some really nice people/families/dogs that live here. And like many other complex places there can be some people who don't follow the rules/don't care about their neighbors. We feel blessed to have had this our home with our pit! We moved because we bought a house.

I had to get over being so upset, before write this. I really did these apartments. but they didn't want to renew my lease, and gave me 60 days to move. I know it was to up the rent by 400.00, wish they had just told me they wanted the market value, I would have paid that amount to stay. It was good, but the last year we started getting some shady people there. People can come and go as the please, the gates and door ways though the gated area are not kept locked. Most of the staff has turned over. About my other reviews, they do give a summer BBQ that is very nice, they do give prizes

Car break ins... all the time. management does nothing but blame you for "keeping valuables in your car or not locking vehicle right" even though I had NO valuables at all just empty water bottles and car was locked and alarmed.. no security here at all. You would think when their office, laundry room, or community room got broken into that they would do something about it like get an overnight security patrol but nope! do not care for their tenants property safety..

I love living here. The value is great, especially with raising rent prices in Sacramento, and the wonderful location. I really appreciate management enforcing the rules, knowing that people living here are going to be treating the premises with respect and tidiness. The office is always quick to respond and helpful. The maintenance staff is amazing, and incredibly quick to any kind of repair or request. I always feel safe, as there is a lot of lighting at night, and the residents are friendly when walking around.

This is a business, not a home. The front office makes that very clear. DO NOT RENT HERE. I had a vehicle in our car port but unfortunately lost the key. We had just moved out, so I called to ask for a day grace period to find it. This was not an option and they refused to give me a time period of when they might tow it. Simply stated "whenever we feel like it". so I immediately call aaa and head over, only to find riverfront had called their tow company seconds after hanging up with me. Luckily my tow truck came at the same time and was able to get it out and resolved. When I came in

Apartments are just okay here.. My biggest complaint is the parking! They give you one spot with in the gates and than you have to pay an additional $25 if you would like another spot with in the gates. Now most houses usually have TWO cars. So if you have a second vehicle you most likely park on the street. This is a HUGE issue as cars get broken into ALL THE TIME! And now recently some punks decided to shoot people's windows out, for no reason! Nothing was stolen from vehicles they just decided it was fun to break windows I guess!! I think riverfront needs to hire some short of security

I too backed out of signing a lease for a 2 bedroom apartment. They were hesitant to approve my application due to my bankruptcy.
We put the applications and deposit in on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. I reported the bankruptcy on the application. Kathryn stated they 'work with challenged credit'. Kathryn stated it takes 2-3 days for a decision. Emily, the person who handles the applications didn't go into the office on Wednesday and Thursday due to a sick child. I totally understand this. I'm a Mom too. On Friday, July 11th I called, spoke with Emily. She stated she could not

I ended up backing out of the Lease for a 1 Bedroom at this apartment complex at the last minute in 5/2014, due to several errors and omissions in the lease that the property manager (Emily) refused to correct or let me manually correct.
NEGATIVE COMMENTS:
The lease document was 25 pages, not including several documents that the Assistant Property Manager (Kathryn) failed to let me look at in advance. The lease had several errors and omissions, including only listing five (5) Fair Housing protected class categories (there should have been 11 according to California Civil Code 51). There

Lovely grounds, spacious apartments, pet friendly, very clean maintenancei crew polite and efficient. I have lived here 7 years and call it home. HUnfortunately I am now living above 2
with 24/7 smokers . The smell is so bad I cannot keep my balcony door
open. Other issue being that lazy tenants prop exterior gates open to the street endangering all of us. Wish they would solve those 2 issues because I would like to continue to call Riverfront home

If depression could be personified as a building, it would have to be Riverfront Apartments. With it's dark, dank apartments and teeny staircase that makes it impossible to get a couch up to the second floor, I would have to say that it is the saddest place I have ever lived.
However, if you are in a budget crunch, they ARE affordable and the place does take pets. Just be sure to up your dosage of Prozac before moving in.
