I am currently working remotely and am looking for a 1x1 apartment in midtown Sacramento. I toured several other communities in the area (H16,1801L,19J,etc.) when I finally toured The Press with the leasing manager Aidan Ordona. Not only was Aidan professional throughout the tour and very accommodating (me and my partner were walk-ins without a scheduled tour, whoops). While the price was a bit higher than what I originally wanted to spend, the amenities (heated pool, skylounge, 24/7 indoor amenities including 24/7 gym) definitely more than make up for it. I am excited to call The Press MY next

We’ve been so fortunate to live in The Press. Emmy and Farin at the front desk make move in and apartment life easy. Everything here is high standard - routine maintenance, cleaning, etc. We’ve always felt safe and comfortable here. All our neighbors are friendly. Nothing to complain about. The Press really goes above and beyond.

I love living at the Press! Not only is it a convenient location that's a stone's throw from my job. It's also walking distance to some cute coffee shops, restaurants and of course the dog park!
The amenities are clean and feel homey and comfortable. The community is friendly and I've met met some of the sweetest people since I've been here. Management is awesome and top notch! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and they really listen to your needs. Last but not least, the maintenance staff rock and fix things right away! Overall, I'm really happy

I have lived at the Press for a year and a half. Recently upgraded to a bigger unit and extended our lease. Love this place, especially the amenities. Lots of spots to just hang out and get a change of scenery. If the weather is nice, the courtyard is always amazing, but there is also the loft, sky lounge, game room or the comfy couches in the "Scrabble room". Spent an hour just playing pool the other day. Great way to chill.
Staff is great, and a few of them live in the building, so they have a vested interest in making sure everything is running smoothly. Way better than the faraway corporate

Have lived at the press about six months now and am loving it! Wish covid we're over so I could really relax into the indoor shared amenities but still love using them just with a mask. Love the heated pool and bbq area. It is typically reasonably quiet. There are a lot of dogs and you can hear them bark sometimes but I otherwise almost never hear my neighbors. The leasing office is very responsive and maintenance is really fast and always wears a mask when entering. I love the covered parking but do wish it wasn't so expensive. Overall I love living here and am excited to finish out

This review is not intended as a 'buyer beware' notice; however, I think it is very important to share my experience with anyone considering moving here. The best way to describe the Press is upscale college-student living. The location is the main positive. You never forget how this is one of the biggest apartment complexes in Sacramento. Very thin walls - you literally hear your neighbors all the time. Music, thudding, running in the hallways. Looks very nice from the outside but the build quality is pretty bad. I wish I had more time to look when I needed an apartment in Sac b/c I would have chosen a smaller complex.

Don't bother with The Press!
The experience I've had (and heard from others as well) is that the staff is condescending and rude. On several instances I've had difficulty getting help from staff, such as when I was locked out and needed assistance to get back into the tower. There is also extreme hypocrisy surrounding the enforcement of COVID guidelines. The staff still operates in the office without wearing masks or distancing, but are on top of anyone using or even just going through one of the indoor amenities (even when alone).

The build quality of the apartments is very cheap for something in this price range. Most people move here for the amenities, however and unfortunately they have been closed due to "covid." Every amenity is closed, even the outdoor ones. The office and security staff operate with no masks or social distancing requirements which make this whole thing very hypocritical. If you get packages delivered they will get lost, the door panel doesn't work so you're likely to get locked out and the door for the paid parking is often broken, open and unattended. My girlfriend and I were able to stop in and get a tour without an appointment which was nice. The place is brand new and pretty awesome. Really nice amenities and a great location.
Unfortunately we did not end up going with an apartment there. If we had it would have mainly been because of how good of a job Aiden did while showing us around and following up with us.
He was knowledgeable and patient, he asked the right qualifying questions and then listened to our needs and wants. It is crazy that most of the apartment listing agents I have come across in Sacramento either know nothing or act

I moved here about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I absolutely love this place! The staff is awesome and very accommodating whenever I have an unsettled matter. The amenities here are endless and is on par with many resorts, such as their resort style pool. Each residence is Smarthome equipped. There is underground parking available. They have a gym, rooftop terrace, game rooms, meeting rooms, workstations, BBQ area with overhead TVs, and a courtyard with plenty of seating. Everything is within walking distance. I can walk to a local barber, Spa, beauty salon, another gym, or yoga place to name a few. Grocery

This property has been nothing short of amazing. The floor plans are amazing! I love the smart home system it is so convenient for heating and cooling your apartment while you are away from home. Some of my favorite activities I don't even need to leave the property for! During the week the gym is perfect for all of your workout needs! It is so nice you won't even need to sign up for 24 hour or lifetime fitness. They have free weights, rowers, stair master, cross fit section, yoga room, and the list goes on.Then when you want to relax on the weekend you can go sit out by the pool and enjoy the

I toured with Aidan and he did an amazing job showing my mom and I the property. While I decided to go a different direction, I feel like this place was a great choice for someone who wants to enjoy all of the benefits of Sacramento living with the amazing benefits of a pool and beautifully equip social lounge and gym. If you are interested in touring the press I definitely recommend Aidan. Not only is he informative, but he does a great job selling the benefits of Press living. I would gladly consider moving here in the future for all the amenities and the hospitable service of staff. Thank you

I've toured many if not all the apartment buildings around midtown and The Press hands down beats what others have to offer for relatively the same price range in that area for a brand new building. A few of the amenities that I personally enjoyed viewing includes their cabana style pool, huge gym, yoga room, and meetings rooms with huge whiteboards for those who work from home like myself. Beautiful choice of artwork and aesthetics throughout the building. It is also walking distance from all of the restaurants and bars on R street as well as the Safeway!

I have lived here for about 2 months now and I'm so pleased with the service I have received here. Any requests I have had have been handled immediately and with care. The staff here have been absolutely WONDERFUL during this uncertain time (special shout out to Taylor and Armando)! The amenities are obviously beautiful and the location is amazing, but it's really the people here that make this an outstanding place to live.
