A condominium inspection is done with the same attention to detail as a regular home inspection. We also include a free infrared inspection of the interior. The difference is that the exterior, attic, roof, and site-areas of the unit that the association is typically responsible for-are not included, and the cost of the inspection is reduced as a result.
While your insurance agent may call it a "wind mitigation" or "wind mit" it is officially known as the "Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form, OIR-B1-1802." The purpose of the form is to verify the hurricane-resistant structural features of your home so that you can receive discounts on the windstorm portion of your homeowner's insurance.

I recently purchased a home in April. The inspector at the time charged 500.00 and went through my house quickly and inefficiently and said (okay you passed). For insurance reasons I needed another 4 point inspection, colin was on time and very thorough and found 2 issues with my house! One electrical, very reasonable on time efficient and courteous friendly and knowledgable. Definitely would use again when needed.

And even though he had other customers on his schedule, he quickly filed the results of my inspection. We were able to get an appointment on fairly short notice. Anthony arrived on time, he was friendly and very professional. But above that he took his time to explain the report and things that we might do to improve our ratings with insurance companies for additional discounts. He gave us his card and said call me if you have any questions about the report. We had a copy of the report within two hours after he left the house. He explained that we could call him out for free for up to six months if we made any of the improvements to get a bigger insurance discounts and he would certify them and

We bought 2 condos. Collin did the first one - 4 point, wind and general - he discussed all the issues with me in detail while we were there and gave a very thorough report. The second condo was larger and had more issues. I said to my agent that Collin is the only person we want to do the second inspection too. Megan and Colin were both friendly and professional. They scheduled it right away and I felt like they really understood how important this inspection was for me and my family. That all was really nice and speaks to their good character and kindness but what was incredibly impressive was the report. Instead of a just an overview (which was also provided), they included pictures, details about standards, and information about why each item was vital for safety and proper functioning. We used True Home inspections for a wind mitigation, requested for new homeowners insurance policy. Colin showed up on time. He was extremely professional, completely thorough, and their rates were much lower than other companies we had looked into. Because of THI we were able to lower our homeowners insurance!!
