I am writing to share with you news which is not easy; the time has come for us to say goodbye to our beloved Eternal Health Yoga. The past year has been extremely difficult for all of us. As a small business, the financial difficulty has reached a point. For the past fifteen years we have loved being part of your lives and sharing yoga with you, our dear yoga community.
We have experienced many joys, sorrows, and transformations together; and, I know that we are all better for having known one another. It is with sadness and with gratitude that we must say goodbye and move forward into the next incarnation of our lives and practices. The current Teacher Training programs, already in progress, will continue as planned.

Founder and Co-Owner of Eternal Health Yoga, Shelli Carpenter, has been practicing yoga since the 1990s, and teaching yoga since 2004. She recognizes yoga as a community of seekers who strive to create and maintain a peaceful, compassionate world. Shelli feels very connected to humanity, to other beings, and to the Earth; and, she understands that yoga, by its very nature, deepens this feeling of connectedness.
The word yoga, from the Sanskrit word yuj means to yoke or bind and is often interpreted as "union" or a method of discipline. A male who practices yoga is called a yogi, a female practitioner, a yogini. The Indian sage Patanjali is believed to have collated the practice of yoga into the Yoga Sutra an estimated 2,000 years ago.
My daughters and I discovered Eternal Health Yoga last summer. I was completely new to the practice of yoga. In the past 14 months I've gained strength, flexibility, camraderie, and focus under the careful guidance of caring, enlightening, skilled teachers. When I leave the yoga studio, my body is humming - I've never felt that with any other type of exercise.
Our all-levels, Vinyasa-style yoga classes incorporate yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation to strengthen your body, calm your mind, and awaken your spirit! Suitable for all levels. Hatha Yoga is the science/practice of mindful living and is meant to be incorporated into daily life. The word yoga means 'union' and is derived from the Sanskrit word yuj which means 'to join'.
