502 Power Yoga
Through partnership, a joint love for Baptiste Power Yoga, and a willingness to be up to something brand new, Cat and Sarah have built the only studio in the state of Kentucky dedicated to teaching the Baptiste Method. 502 Power Yoga stands for community, growth, possibility, and empowerment through yoga and service.

Because we are committed to being up to something bigger than ourselves. We are up to empowering people to live healthy, strong, engaged, present and playful lives. We are being a cause in the matter by creating a community where teachers and students can make a notable contribution to their lives and the lives of others through yoga and service.
Services
Meet the most inspiring, empowering, and impactful yoga instructors in Louisville and Southern Indiana! This team of "behind-the-scenes" yogis are what keep 502PY a well-oiled machine. They keep the studios clean, ensure you can login to your account, and set the stage for our teachers to do what they do best: TEACH!
Power Yoga is a style of yoga that raises the bar on the physicality of the yoga practice as an access to personal growth and transformation.

The classes are definitely more of a "workout" than what a lot of people think of when they think of "yoga, " but there is also a lot of freedom and permission for everyone to create their practice exactly as they need it-rest when needed, modify when needed, even add on fancy stuff when needed-so all levels can practice in the same class.
Our YOD classes at 502 Power Yoga are best described as a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) sandwiched inside a Power Yoga class. It is designed to hit every aspect of your physical fitness while creating mindfulness, and awareness of your body. YOD stands for Your Own Determination (and Yoga of the Day, a nod to our friends in CrossFit who have "WOD's, " or Workout of the Day").
If no students show for the live class, the instructor will not teach and no link will be sent. Accountability and connection are an integral part of what we are up to at 502PY, so our preference is that you practice in real-time if you can, but we also recognize that life is weird right now. You will have 48 hours to access your recording!
We off a discount for students, teachers, police, firefighters, military, non-profit employees, and seniors. Auto-Renewal: Memberships automatically renew monthly; the price at the time of purchase is locked in until the member chooses to cancel. Suspensions: Memberships can be suspended in month-long increments that coincide with your billing date up to 3 months maximum.

I was introduced to 502PY by a friend and got hooked immediately. I love being able to attend any of the 3 locations and choose from a variety of class options, including on-demand and virtual. The teachers have all been amazing, the class is always challenging, and those cold lavender towels at the end are a TREAT.

If you're curious about yoga as a beginner or just looking for a new studio, look no further than 502 Power Yoga. With 3 beautiful studios and classes to meet most busy schedules, there's something for everyone. The teachers and other yogis in the studio are all super nice people! I've practiced here for over four years now and the community that this studio has built and sustained is amazing! I've made many friends on my mat that keep me accountable to show up. It's more than just fitness. It's a community. Namaste.

Absolutely love 502. There are classes for every level of yogi- even if it's your first class ever or if you have any kind of injury that you're nursing. There is an incredible sense of community that always keeps me coming back. Anytime any kind of stress occurs in my life- I know that 502 and my mat are always there for me. There's a real security in that. The instructors are always judgment free, so you're welcome there with open arms regardless of your athletic abilities. They've handled the pandemic expertly, I felt incredibly safe once they opened back up, the owner

I recently visited the Jeffersonville location because the Highlands location class was full (for the same time slot). Studio vibe was great. It's very different from the Highlands studio (which is my main studio location since I live in closer proximity to it) and everything seems so fresh and new. Still, the same great instructors and assistants are there to make your practice exactly what you need it to be. Love the exposed brick and HUGE practice space. I did miss getting as sweaty as I do in the smaller Highlands studio. But I was MUCH LESS distracted at this large studio. I highly recommend

I absolutely love practicing here. The instructors challenge, and yet support, and all levels fit in. You are always accepted and there is always room for growth! I have particularly appreciated instruction on modifications of poses as I work with my back's unique differences. Power yoga has made the most of my time and helped me get more fit pretty quickly.

Visited 502 Jeffersonville location while traveling for work. Studio vibe was excellent, staff was extremely welcoming, and location was fresh and clean. I rarely take to a studio so quickly, BUT I would totally be a member/regular if I lived in the area. I highly recommend giving this studio a try!

I'm in town for a conference downtown and a friend found 502 Power Yoga just over the bridge. They have been incredibly helpful with figuring out the best deal for us to have a great week of yoga. I'm still new to yoga and the instructor was very helpful, the other clients were engaged and positive and it has been an awesome experience. The studio is impeccably clean, organized and has a great ambiance. What a refreshing way to start the day!
