Dave did a very thorough inspection and explained a lot of helpful tips for improving our new home. He was available on short notice, arrived prepared and on time, and he was very knowledgeable! Of course one inspector can't know everything, but he knew enough to give us an overview and recommend specialists where needed. The inspection of the first house revealed some major issues, but we liked working with him so much that we brought him back when we found a better house to buy (after backing out of the first one). Both times he was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend

David Gross did a thorough inspection of our home, and we are very satisfied with it. He covered all areas from the roof to the basement, plus landscaping that's relevant to the condition of the house. On top of that, he patiently explained the significance of his findings. I've owned this home for forty years, and still learned a lot.
One of his findings was that our dryer vent was blocked; that one discovery alone saves us from a possible fire. His written report to us was very complete, and shows all that's needed to be done.

Most recently, I sent him a picture of a leaking pipe in our basement and he calmly and concisely talked me out of my panic and through the steps to fixing it myself. We hired Dave as our home inspector for the purchase of our house. I am beyond impressed with his services! He did a very thorough inspection - it was night and day compared to a different inspector I used when buying a previous house. I feel confident closing on my house next week knowing he went through it with a fine tooth comb. In the process of packing our house to move my cat decided to get herself stuck in the ceiling. Dave came to the rescue using his multiple cameras and investigation techniques to locate and retrieve the cat. Not only did he find the cat, he repaired, textured and painted the drywall.

I was looking at buying a duplex, so we started calling around not realising how much money inspectors are.. We had the blessing of finding gross inspection services, They where verry affordable, honest, and verry accurate. David not only thoroughly inspected the entire duplex, both sides, garage, and the roof, but took the time to explain certain things and the importance of fixing it. Gross Inspections took the time to tell me how to fix certain things, and also refer me to professionals for projects i was unable to do myself. Don't hesitate to contact Dave!!!! I am a first time home buyer. He was recommended to me by my brother who also had him do some home improvement projects in his house. Dave walked me through every square inch explaining things along the way. His report was very thorough, it included not only photos of troubled areas, but also diagrams to illustrate problems and how to fix them. Dave recently did a house inspection for a home I'm in the process of buying. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, and checked everything thoroughly. More than that, he was quick to offer suggestions, tips, and even some background history on some of the things he saw. When I asked if he would be able to provide local contacts who would be able to handle a few of the repairs/updates, he did so without hesitation.
