If I can give this place a negative score, I would. We lived here for a year, and it was probably THE WORST experience I have ever had with renting an apartment around Reno. I would choose to be homeless than ever come back to this place. When shopping around, we asked if there was any way to get a tour of a 2x2 unit before moving in, but they claimed they did not have any available. We were extremely hesitant to sign our lease before viewing the apartment, but we were somewhat pressed for time. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! They are a bunch of crooks! The apartments are cheap and nothing like the model home. They don't provide you with any proper/accurate statements of rent and if you have even the smallest balance due, the don't tell you until it's already considered "late" and then tack on a late fee. They will find any way possible to steal your money while living in these sub par apartments that already cost WAY MORE than they are worth. Don't be the next victim!!!

I was excited to move in but was disappointed from the beginning. They gave me the wrong mail key, but mistakes happen and they got the right one within a day. When I did the walk-through, I said to the Lakeridge person that was with me was that there were a lot of paint scraps, chips, etc. throughout the apartment. His response was that I wouldn't be charged for it. I said, "I wanted a new looking apartment and I think that Lakeridge should touch up the apartment." He didn't respond. Let me start off by saying I normally don’t leave reviews. If I like the place or product great. HOWEVER this has been the sorriest excuse for a management company I’ve seen, we moved in about a year ago, and about 3 months into living here our washer broke, it took them 4-5 whole months to wait to come in and change it, with me calling everyday on the day to see if they would. Cut to about 2 months ago our dryer then all of a sudden stopped working. So here I go again calling everyday to see when it was going to get fixed. We move out at the end of the month and it’s just been horrendous

I literally bugged this place to the point where I thought they would deny my application. I moved into the townhome and looked at it at least 5 times before I moved in. I asked them to fix all these things and I was sure they hated me. Move in day came, and they not only made sure the place was move in ready, but the place was SPOTLESS! They cleaned everything 3 times, and replaced any damaged things. Seriously would recommend this place to everyone. They are so friendly, and accommodating. They were very courteous and friendly, while answering my questions. The staff are knowledgeable and straight to the point. I would recommend lake ridge apartment townhouse's, they are spacious and located in the center of town. No place is to far, it only takes a few minutes to arrive most anywhere in the greater Reno/Tahoe area.

Although short-lived, the experience with Lakeridge Living has been truly exceptional. Only two cons to discuss: one, the lighting in some areas is questionable, and second, maintenance can be slow at times due to the high volume of calls. Outside of those two areas, the service staff is fantastic, the apartment itself is well put together and modern, the apartment's amenities/features hold value for residents, and the community is nestled in a wonderful location convenient to any place in Reno, NV. If you are considering a move to South Reno, please consider Lakeridge Living.

I am writing this review because I want you to know what poor condition and horribly run Lake Ridge East apartments are.
Before I moved in, I looked at the model apartment which was in pristine condition. The apartment I rented was quite the opposite. The rotting deck and ripped screen door was the first indication there were problems. There were so many coats of paint on the doors, walls and trim that if you touched them the paint chipped off. The stove was really old and only had part of each burner working so that it took forever to cook on them.
The carpet in my apartment started buckling

This will sound dramatic, but this was the worst living experience of our lives. We lived here for four years, which is far longer than we should have. We have never experienced owners and apartment staff so uninterested in caring for its tenants. We experienced terrible negligence, in fact, we had a bathtub leak that went on for three years and each time it was “fixed” it was made worse. At one point they sealed the bathroom without telling us, spraying noxious fumes in our home with our PETS HOME! Thankfully our neighbor could smell the fumes and warned us. I am writing this review on behalf of the maintenance here. I know their aren't the best reviews for them but let me tell you.... I will call Maintence night or day and they are always here within 20 minutes no matter how small or big the problem may be. My kiddos wanted to roast marshmallows at 8pm and my fire place wouldn't start. Derek, the head of Maintence was here within 10 minutes to help me start it.
Derek and Dalton rock and they make my experience living here so worth it. I feel like my issues are valued and taken into consideration and AWLAYS dealt with.

I’m extremely disappointed with this office. The photos of the apartment were so beautiful, but the reviews made me feel a little nervous. After reading the few positive reviews I decided to reach out and schedule a tour. This may seem a bit petty, but we were running 5 minutes late to our appointment. I tried 3 times to get through and at least leave a voicemail, but it was impossible to do so.

We were tenants for 2 1/2 years ending April 30, 2020 during which management changed 4 or 5 times. With each management change we had expected and were promised that relations with the tenants would improve. The overriding Policy was and is to delay and not respond to tenant questions , repair requests or meetings with management. Emails were rarely answered and we were unable to meet with the last two property managers despite repeated requests. We moved here 6 months ago. The oven was broken, the thermostat was broken, the paint on the tub was peeling off which had to be repainted and caused us to be out of our apartment for 2 days, the bathroom light was broken. And good luck trying to get it fixed.
Then when it's time to move out, this place steals your deposit. I'd recommend living anywhere but here. There is nothing in the lease about these fees that caused them to steal our deposit. Let me start by saying my wife and I have lived here through 3 different management companies in as many years. We have been through ups and downs at this location, but we truly feel that since FPI management has taken over things have never been better.
The apartments are spacious and well-maintained on the exterior, and a responsive and capable maintenance crew are to thank for that! Not only are the exteriors well-kept, but in between tenants I have seen management replace carpets and appliances that need it.

Love the new staff that has been welcomed this year. I’ve lived in these apartments for a little over a year, and with past management I’ve had quiet a few problems. I have never called an office as many times as I did with past staff! Even after many office visits and phone calls, nothing was ever done... Luckily new staff was welcomed in mid January of 2019. The new leasing manager (Michael), and leasing agent (Timothy) were beyond great with the assistance I needed for months. This isn't the place to rent from! Big warning to all~ WAY over priced.!! No managers worth a darn.. Takes many calls to get things fixed or it's just never done. No hot tub and no plans on getting one but your paying such a high rent to compared to newer places and these are so broken and old which makes it over priced! Note to tenants: your rent is only going toward paying off the over 1 star reviewers on here. Absolutely the worst living community! My family and I are living here for 1 year as our home is being built and lord do I wish this whole place would just burn down.
The grounds are unmaintained. Drip system piping is visible all over the place. The pool (which took years to get approved by the city health inspector) is filthy/tiny and unkempt.

I really enjoy the staff at Lakeridge Living. I had a bad experience at one of my prior residencies and wanted a place that was welcoming and in good standing. When my roommate and I went into Lakeridge to check it out..We were welcomed by Timothy and Judith...They are hands down awesome! We took a tour based on what we were asking and looking for and just the ride alone was great....It was just constant good vibes and laughter. I loved it, but we still wanted to finish checking out a few more places before making a decision. After doing so and while....I had our first stop at Lakeridge in my mind

I have never had such a horrible experience with an apartment complex or their management in my entire life. I should have known better considering how move in went.
First we were told about a day or two until we hear back about our background check. This in fact took over a week (almost making us miss our previous move out date) and whenever we would email or call, we would never get a response.
