I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place is horrible. I've lived here for 4 years and ever 6 month there are new leasing managers. The last ones last year (2020) stole money out of my account. And the new ones (2021) haven't fixed the leak in my apartment that has been leaking from the roof for a month now. These apartments are cheap for a reason. The communication between the leasing office, management and maintenance are horrible at communicating with the residents and every Sunday like clockwork there is always a huge amount of trash right in front of the trash compactor

I’ve been leasing with Urban Place going on 3 years. I’ve never experienced any issues until recently (2months) the new management is TERRIBLE from customer service to maintenance.. I was without lighting in my restroom for over a week & a half. The office staff tell you that you can’t access certain info regarding your lease, payments and important information. Their attitudes are HORRIBLE.

I have been leasing urban place over 13 years. The management is so bad lately.The manager is so rude.Everything is took forever to fix.Last time we have an issue with the dryer machine.They took over three months to fix .I was so angry.we have been paying the dryer machine over months for nothing.Now they don’t even want to renew the lease with us because we not happy with the manager.

Me and my boyfriend were trying to get an apartment here. We went up there on my day off , he had already spoken to them about getting a two bedroom, however nobody called us back for a whole 3 days. When we went up there the manager didn’t want to speak to anybody due to the fact she was about to leave and yet it was an hour before they closed, we just wanted information to see if she can help us or not with our situation because her employee told us she was the only one who could. Mind you she was right upstairs and it would have only taken 10 minutes at the most to speak with us . She just

Been living here for a year. A few serious problems have occurred and been handled accordingly by the staff here. Doshi works as the main groundskeeper here and he does a great job. Any issue that we've had (Electrical outlet failed, fridge froze over, roof needed repainting) has been handled promptly and effectively. I really do enjoy living here. Neighbors are very kind, and it is peaceful here.

While I sympathies with those who had negative experiences, I must admit that Urban Place has been given us the best customer service so far. I would definitely give it a 5-star review. My reasons are: The sink had a low water flow. I emailed the management and next morning, Elijah and Bilian came and fixed the pull-down spray kitchen faucet. Additionally, Bilian replaced the kitchen sink strainer. Considering the priorities that they have, we did not expect that management would send help so fast. Not only they fixed the problem, but they also went above and beyond by replacing the parts and ensuring

While no apartments may beat the prices offered at this complex in the campus area, tradings savings for service was the worst mistake I could have done. For the love of God do not even try to live here. Many issues in overall apartment buying process including multiple lost emails with sensitive documents such as social security, calls at times were never answered nor returned, and various changes in fees that were increased from their value on contracts.

I don't live here but my best friend does and I am always here. I love this property and her apartment. Especially the pond. It is so relaxing to walk around the path area around it and they have a really pretty fountain that's in the middle of the pond. I am urging my best friend to renew so that I can possibly move in with her!

Called to get information over the phone and the lady named Peyton didn’t know the prices of the apartments and I had to be the one to ask all about all of the important information. Her responses were “yes” “no” answer without being informative. When you’re looking to move somewhere you want to feel like you’re moving somewhere safe and people who are friendly, knowledgeable about their work environment.

I moved here from Lakeland to go to school in USF with my girlfriend, and so far after a year we still love the place. They regularly have events, reasonable rent, and it’s well kept. They even offer pest control. Any and every issue we have has been addressed by the helpful staff and the great maintenance crew!

Great place to live , the management is extremely nice and understanding . Every time we've had any kind of problem is fixed with in 24 hours . Told them the porch was falling apart the next day they build a… new one . Our sink was starting to have problems and wasn't working correctly and the next day they gave us a even better one ! They are extremely understanding if you have any type of problem . Great for college students, close to the school, mall, Busch Gardens, and grocery stores . Pet friendly and every month the leasing office does contests where you can win prizes and other fun

Worst place to live ever. The apartments were disgusting. The residents were rude and loud. There was no security whatsoever. Anyone could literally walk off the street and go into the pool area. That meant there were people there at all hours of the night. Good luck sleeping if you get a unit anywhere near the pool, the walls are paper thin. There… was one time the pool was vandalized so instead of locking it, the leasing office sent out a nasty letter blaming the residents. The neighborhood is terrible as well. My bike was changed on my porch and was stolen. Don't get me started on maintenance

DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Office staff lacks manors and intelligence, dog poo all over the ground, maintenance staff is a joke, the pool is filthy all of the time, anyone can walk in and take a package from the mail room, the walls are thin, the roofs are falling in, stairwells are falling apart, the huge dumpster in the back is a home for raccoon's,… opossums, feral cats. Roaches IN the apartment, things get stolen from the porch, tons people park in the parking lot and then walk to campus and the office staff does nothing about it, its NOT gated and on the corner of a busy highway so very noisy
