My husband and I have been living here for almost a year and would not want to live any place else. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff is wonderful!

The following non-traditional pets ARE allowed: turtles, non-poisonous frogs, domestic hamsters, hermit crabs, gerbils, small domesticated birds, and domestic fish. Update ! You would think living here can't get worse and worse it always does. Office staff specifically Chamia are unhelpful, unprofessional, and flat out rude. All maintenance "fixes" are never actually fixed, the pool is disgusting with garbage floating inside, and the area has become unsafe, all while rent was raised unreasonably for the outdated apartments and service we get. Can't wait until my lease is up!

I was excited to find a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor. I was almost finished the application online and scheduled an end of day appoinment to view a similar unit. When I arrived the manager was very polite and offered me coffee while I waited. Unfortunately the associate seemed susprised that I had an appointment. She rushed the tour because she had 'holiday plans' and texted most of the time. She was very short with me when I asked if we could check the floor I'd be moving to. Her response was, "I'm sorry but I'm not doing all of that. I'm already showing you the courtyard you asked to

If you moved in for the location, the pool, or the baths don't move in here. There's construction everywhere, to the point that the road is closed and the noise is constant. The pool is also completed shaded and surrounded by construction so it smells like cigarette smoke and it's freezing. Oh, and if you thought you could take a hot bath. Think again. They only installed a water heater with half of the capacity to fill the tub and have no plans on changing that any time soon.

Jose B. in maintenance is great. I had an issue that could not be resolved when we tried a couple days ago, and when I came home yesterday, he had left a note and had fixed the problem! He went above and beyond, because I was going to settle, but he was persistent in providing me with the help I needed.

Ok I didn't end up living here, but here is why. I went for a tour and it felt like I was in a dorm. The cold concrete hallways and college kids everywhere gave me serious flashbacks. It was the least expensive one bedroom in the area, but that is probably because it backs up to a construction zone as well as the highway. The leasing agent swore you can't hear the noise, and when we walked into an empty apartment, it was extremely loud. I could hear the highway loud and clear and they weren't even doing construction that day but I imagine it would be just as bad or worse. She then

I moved in 2 months ago and so far everything has been so good! The leasing agents Mia and Jazzmin were the nicest and most helpful people ever! They made the move in process so smooth and easy for me :)) The facilities at Bell Channelside are amazing! Jose B from the maintenance team is super friendly and always comes through as soon as i put in a maintenance request and his work in amazing!

Jose B. Is the best! Our front door lock broke over the weekend and he was here within 30 minutes to fix it. He also installed our fan when my roommate and I couldn’t figure it out. He took the time to give us a new air filter as we didn’t know ours was long overdue for replacing! Great experience here at Bell :)

Air conditioning stopped working at 9 PM and José B came, evaluated the unit in the apartment, and realized it was an issue with the roof unit. Knowing we were concerned about our baby being able to sleep with the temperature, he went to the roof in the dark and fixed the unit after 9:30. We were astonished and so thankful he went so out of his way to help us. Can’t say enough good things about him, really something special.

2 weeks ago I said this: if you’re looking in channelside, best price point among the buildings in the area.
Literally 2 weeks after I posted this review, I was told that if I want to renew my lease I have to pay an extra $363!!!!!! I have heard of increasing rent every year but that’s outrageous. I called and was told that’s just the rate, nothing they can do. A friend of mine said his went up $50. That’s doable, but almost $400 is unforgivable for a good tenant who always pays on time.

Do NOT move here. I should have listened when I read in other reviews that the walls are not only paper thin but there is also construction all day Monday-Friday and some Saturdays that is terribly loud and disturbing. They also closed one of the roads/entry ways to the resident garage due to this making it more annoying and inconvenient to get to from the main road. Tried to move out early because of constant noise and was told that we would still have to break the lease and pay the fees associated with that, which was more than just paying the remaining rent. Needless to say, will not be renewing

Our son lived here for 2 years while attending grad school.
Real strict lease which was ok but there are lots of unforeseen add on $$ to the rent such as garbage fees, bug spray fees etc etc...parking fees...
Why can't you just put it all into one flat rental monthly fee?.
Stainless fridge rusted on the outside and was gross..
Dishwasher kept coming out of the wall..
Bought a new car on a weekend and stuck my old parking sticker on it till I could get to the office only to find they towed me away out of a secured parking garage..$400!
Moved out scrubbed apartment clean and just got a $149

My roommate and I love Bell Channelside so much! This will be our second year living here and we've had no problems whatsoever. The staff is great and the location is perfect. I go to UT and it is an easy drive towards on campus. Almost all residents are wearing masks and being safe during COVID and the staff has been especially careful. Also if you have a dog...best place to live!!!

My family and I have been living at Bell Channelside since the end of March. Since moving in we have loved our time living here. Our apartment is perfect for the four of us and the amenities make living here a true pleasure. Between the pool, gym, and multiple courtyards there's something for everyone no matter the lifestyle!

Been living at Bell since March 2019 and I love it here! I have had to submit a few maintenance requests (as expected anywhere) and the maintenance team has only ever taken one or two days to resolve our issues. Sometimes they were not able to get the issue fixed the first day, but they would leave a note keeping us informed of what the next steps would be and when we should expect a resolution.
Every month the Bell team comes up with fun and free events for us to do - the brunch has been a personal favorite and I'm looking forward to trying other events as well. Little perks like the coffee

I love living in Bell and would recommend it to anyone. From the instant response from management for maintenance issues if there is ever a problem to the the quietness of each apartment regardless of neighbors, I have zero complaints. The apartments are a great size and I often see employees throughout the building cleaning and inspecting each floor. Additionally the amenities are awesome and well-kept. 10/10 recommend!

Phenomenal staff and great location. They always have great events and activities to keep residents engaged. It's more than an apartment and I always feel at home with neighbors and the staff. They make sure to make amenities (new and past) accessible and bringing new things to us (like a onsite laundry service and a pet groomer) which makes my life so much easier!

Do not rent from Bell if you want Carefree living as they advertise. Not a week goes by where we don't experience some negative issue. FOBs for door access being arbitrarily turned off, random fire alarms, internet interruptions, flooding in the garage if there's so much as an inch of rain, and the management staff that doesn't seem to really care. You get Smiles but no action. Don't do it!

This is my one year update to previous reviews. We are a middle age couple with a child.
Positives: People of all ages do live here. Our unit has privacy, near total quietness in the hall, and a fantastic view. Unit location in the building matters, so choose carefully. Bell is the best value for Channel District, which is why we live here, but isn’t a luxury apartment. We have found the management and staff to be professional, responsive, and upbeat. There are many ways to politely contact them about concerns and they follow-up. They have improved the gym in ways that matter to me and for that

Worst decision I have ever made is moving into Bell Channelside.
1. No security- there are no cameras anywhere! I pay for a locker to have my packages delivered to which is almost never used. Packages going missing all the time even though pictures are taken and it was delivered to the office. The the college kids who steal everything they can never catch because again no cameras!
2. Things are always broken and never fixed. I put in a work order 3 times in the past year for the key pad to my court yard to be fixed and it's still broken.
3. The outside and stair wells smell of dog urine

I have lived in a few apartment complexes in my life and Bell Channelside was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The units are nice and clean and the location is great but those are the only nice things I can say about Bell Channelside.
Bell Channelside is basically like living in a college dorm. You will hear late teen/early 20s kids screaming and blasting music at all hours of the day and night.
