Well, it looks like I spoke too soon in my review of the quality of maintenance at Bolton's Landing. Now we are waiting to get a simple light replaced on our convection oven; as the surface light stopped working since 10/10/2021 and I submitted a work order on that day as well. We have not heard anything from anyone to date; during which time, one eye on the stove stop working, trash compactor stop working, and ceiling light stop working in kitchen as well. I seriously thought maintenance had shown a big improvement, but I guess showing up in one instance to fix something is not a reason to praise

It has been three months since I have moved out and I still haven’t received my security deposit! South Carolina law states that security deposits must be returned within 30 days, yet no deposit in sight or even a timeline of when it will be delivered. I have been getting excuses from them saying that it’s in corporate’s hands so they can’t do anything about it and that since corporate had had a recent turnover in employees, things may be going slower than usual. That is not a valid excuse. Management, specifically Chris, has told me that I left the apartment in stellar condition and has

I moved into Bolton's Landing about 2 weeks ago and have had the best move in experience ever. Kaela was SO kind, helpful, and patient and even missed some of her lunch break to make sure I was able to move in ASAP. The maintenance staff is so friendly and even stopped me to ask how my move in was going a week later. The property is so clean and quiet with sidewalks and neighboring communities to walk dogs all over.

Living at Boltons Landing has been great! The parking situation is easy; the maintenance staff are knowledgeable, personable, professional, and hard-working; the leasing agents are personable, timely, and professional; and the grounds are clean and aesthtic. Personally, one of the most noteworthy aspects of living here has been the quietness. Pricing is very reasonable.

If you were to ask me a year, heck even 3 months ago, I would’ve given this a 2 star review (only because the rent is on the more affordable side). Maintenance used to be a huge issue. We put in many requests that no one ever addressed them and just marked as completed in the tenant portal. Today, I noticed a new spot on my ceiling and put another work order in. Donnie & William came to check literally 10 minutes after that and found the issue in the apartment above me and showed me my apartment was close to having the same issue, leaking from the AC drain - all due to the faulty maintenance

THIS IS A LITTLE FRUSTRATING I HAVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH WITH TRYING TO GET A MAILBOX KEY I HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO GET INSIDE MY MAILBOX FOR AT LEAST THREE WEEKS WENT TO THE OFFICE TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE AND EVERYTIME ITS BEEN THE SAME STORY FROM DIFFERENT ASSOCIATES AND I QUOTE “OH WE ARE WAITING TO CATCH THE MAIL LADY SO SHE CAN CHANGE THE LOCKS” YEA THAT WAS THREE WEEKS AGO AND MONDAY APRIL 12 2021 IT WILL HAVE BEEN A WHOLE MONTH WE PAY OUR RENT ON TIME EVERY MONTH SINCE WE WHERE HERE NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT NEVER REALLY HAD AN ISSUE BUT AS SOON AS WE DO AND YOU GO INSIDE THE OFFICE TO GET ASSISTANCE

Depending on the building, this may be the loudest community I've ever lived. It was quiet until recently, when a few different sets of people moved into neighboring units and the music started and never stopped.

Unresponsive and unprofessional. Forget about any kind of customer service. The people in the front office are always nice and polite, but leadership issues at the top don't allow their people to effectively do their jobs. Work orders don't get addressed (leak in the roof), phone calls and emails don't get proper responses (just runaround), trash compactor is constantly broken so trash piles up around it, and issues with the online bill pay.
