I have lived at Briar Hills for a year and a half and have enjoyed my stay so far. It is tucked back into a quiet neighborhood with easy access to 168th Street. There is a walking trail close by that is very popular. This was my first apartment after being in single family residences for the last 50 years. Management has always been very friendly, empathetic, cooperative and responsive about any issues that I have encountered. All of my maintenance requests have been completed in a timely and thorough manner. The apartments are spacious and the laminate floor is nice. I am a single mom and I feel

It's a decent apartment but the leasing office is terrible. No one is ever there half the time. I'm currently moved out of the apartment and we've tried to drop off the keys twice and no one is there to collect them and were past the day they are do and it's their fault. The check for "utilities" even though we paid the last months rent in full. Be careful with this place, they will probably try and fine you on your way out.

The most unprofessional experience I've ever had with an apartment complex. I sent several emails before receiving a response. They never answered phone calls because it's just an automated message. After several attempts, I finally set up a tour. Waited for half an hour in the cold for my scheduled tour and no one showed up, not even to open the office for their "business hours". I emailed to reschedule and recieved an automated response after hours telling me to contact them during business hours. The apartments might be nice but I guess I'll never get to see them.

The complex is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but is within walking distance to food/entertainment. I dropped in without an appointment but Kelly managed to fit me between clients. She answered all my questions and was still smiling when I left. I enjoyed my visit and wouldn't mind living there

Overall Briar Hills is nice place to live. It is fairly quiet, most people are friendly, the staff is very good and responsive. I have lived here for 7 years and I do like it. There are some nice amenities such as a dog park, grills, pool, and a decent workout facility. The reason i am rating them 4 stars is due to 5 reasons which are minor.
1) Mandatory renters insurance. While $10/month is not bad for renters insurance, but this one is absolutely horrible. The mandatory insurance is basically the renter has to pay the first $250 of a claim and the insurance will pay for the next $500. I already

You simply do not get what you pay for. While everything looks nice the construction quality is questionable with everything from sinks leaking out the back when on to uneven counter tops. Our ac broke 5 or 6 times over the course of the year. The third time it broke he came and looked at it and set up a time for the next day saying we would be the first apartment he came to and he never showed up or called. When I asked the office they just said he was busy and couldn't give me an estimate of when he would look at it. It took 2 days for him to finally show up which isn't to surprising since it

I'd give a 3.5. The staff is friendly but slightly incompetent. Don't return phone calls or follow up on maintenance requests. It might be different if it was a furnace or AC unit, our issue was more cosmetic from the last residents and a dryer knob.
The floors are nice laminate wood. Appliances can be stainless steel if you pay 50$ more a month. Granite counter tops for an addition 50$. Very spacious. Walls are poorly insulated for sound. Lots of creaking from the ceiling, almost like they left wood floorboards and laminated over them.
It's an older complex that is being renovated and taken

Don't even think about moving here until they atleast get some new management. It's a Joke! I've lived here 2 years the first year was great cuz they had 1 manager the same one the whole year. Now there's a new manager every time I go in there if there's even someone in there they say they'll fine you if you don't pick up after your dog but the doggie bags are always empty and the waste is over flowing along with all there trash cans over flowing with stinking food and beer cans. And lastly maintenance is non exsistant since they forced the other one to move out cuz someone wined about his dog

I lived at Briar Hills for 2 years. In that time they went through 3 managers. The first was incredible and the last 2 were far from. I wish I could post pictures to this review to help others understand the depth of turmoil this property is in. My apartment flooded MULTIPLE times. They supposedly fixed the issue and painted over the area that flooded. Guess what? It wasn't fixed. And the flood came through the light fixture in my bedroom and soaked my mattress. They refused to take responsibility for ANY of it. No hotel room until the leak was fixed and did not replace my mattress even though
