Stayed here for over 8 months, the management refuses to address the problem. It took them 2 months to fix the AC in the peak summer. Tenets are mistreated when a service request is raised. They report me to a collection agency stating a some bills are not settled, I had no knowledge or notice of what these bills were until I reached out to them repeatedly. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

They need to do something about the laundry room machines. Only one washer and one dryer works in each building. There are atleast a 100 people living in each building. How is this even enough ?. They have QR code complaint stickers. I have raised so many complaints but I still do not see any action being taken. I wonder how everyone is waiting for one particular machine and waste money on other machines. Please change all the machines as none of them are even working. They make horrible sound, does not dry the clothes, the handles are broken, machine leaks and sometimes it just fills the water

The management and maintenance teams are on point as far as getting help for the Residents whenever something is needed. Their communication about changes and packages that arrive is out standing. Amy Kerr in the office goes above and beyond for the residents here. She is reason enough to renew a lease.

This is the worst and grossest place I have ever, ever lived. Our apartment smelled awful to every one who entered it, but we were told it was just “old apartment” smell. Fresheners were put in our AC, only temporarily solving the problem. Mold grew in our bathrooms, and mushrooms grew out of our wall!!!! Not to mention the incessant cockroaches that never went away despite countless pest control sprays. We had an insane amount of cockroaches the entire time we lived there. The office was nice at first, but became condescending and unhelpful. Our AC leaked on multiple occasions and multiple

Me and my boyfriend moved here from California and Amy Kerr made the move as easy as possible for us! Considering we never saw our apartment before moving in, she helped us with all of the constant questions we had. Once we got here she didn’t stop being amazing, even checking in on our cat for us when the AC was being serviced. She’s very knowledgeable and even gave us some cool spots to check out in the area since we’re new to the area. We’ve been here a few months now and have no complaints about the complex, it’s a great location and always kept up well, and the staff is all amazing

I have been living here since the past year and the experience has been really great. Form inquiring about the apartment to getting new lease, the process was very smooth because of their good management and amiable staff. I can always grab a coffee and have some free snacks at the office and enjoy by the poolside or the lounge! Brownie points for a shaded parking, pool & lounge and Amazon hub right inside the complex.
A lot of ASU Indian students live here which makes it great for making good friends. Orbit bus service right in front of the apartment and close to the Tempe campus and Safeway

A little late post, but much needed. The management is horrible and also no one really knows what is exactly going on. Its almost 5 months that we have left the apartment, and now we are getting mails saying we have pending settlement. And on calling them, they say to talk with NCAC and get this sorted. While leaving the apartments, we were told all the due are paid with a details posted on the resident portal. They deducted all are deposit saying there we too many things damages in the house (Apart from the work that was still going on in our bathroom from the past 2 months, which was not even

I agree that these are the worst apartments to live in. Roaches met me at the door when I moved in. Dead ones and live ones. Now there are mosquitoes flying around all the time. The kitchen sink is falling apart underneath and has been that way the entire almost year that I've been living here. There are more than one of the same charges after base rent. I have 2 maintenance fees for 2 different amounts in 1 month. I have a charge for gas and we don't even have gas appliances. There is a charge for shared utilities, however the office will tell you that AC is included. There

I have lived in the Agave apartments for 3 months now, and I absolutely love it, all of the employees are super helpful and nice. Amy in the office is always the nicest and most helpful, she makes living here a delight. Also the maintenance guys Gilbert and Angel are always on top of anything you might need fixed or have questions about. They're always in the best of moods and willing to drop what they're doing to help you out. Highly recommend these apartments and they're also super close to ASU Tempe campus and affordable for college students.

Worst apartment. They give you apartment in right condition for first time. Within 3 weeks, cupboard doors start falling, frequent over the night AC maintenance without any notice, their all washing machines go out of order at once. They take more than 2 weeks to service stuff. Hate being signed the lease.

Agave, you promised us with "residency satisfaction is second to none" (A slogan they had on their website but has since been removed). You stole my car (All "reserved" spots are horribly numbered and out of order, leading them to give my spot up to a newer resident WHILE I WAS PARKED THERE, so they towed my car and I had to spend over 6 hours talking to them and getting it back), at least 3 dumpster fires in under a year, front office taking lunch breaks from 10am-4pm, refusing to provide air conditioning in 90+ degree heat for 4 straight weeks, rusty screws/nails/broken glass

Very unhappy with a recent move in experience. Apartment was not ready for move in on move in date. Hole cut out of wall, no shower head, shower rod not up, refrigerator not plugged in, cleaning not fully done, blinds not working, doors not hung on closets, dirty used drip pans on stove, air filter not changed, 1 temporarily key for 2 days for 4 roommates moving in & locks to be changed.

WORST MANAGEMENT - BRIANNE (Or brian) is the new manager, who is the most inept person I've seen in my life. Their website didn't accept my payment on the due date and I go to the office the next day to pay rent. She said it's hiked by $30 even though it was not my fault. By the time I got a money order for the new amount, she hiked it again by $30. She did this in 15 minutes and didn't have the courtesy to tell me before going to the bank. That's how cunning these people can get.
The previous management were good, but since this new manager has come in - it has been a

I literally signed up for a yelp account just for this, to warn others. I lived here for 1 year in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. I would give this complex 1.5/5 stars.
Pros: Close to the ASU Tempe campus (under 15 minute bike ride to class), great low low prices for rent, and OK maintenance
Cons: You'll be filling out maintenance requests the first two weeks, the longer you live there the more you realize stuff doesn't work (Broken closet doors, faulty switches, weak drawers etc). Not the worst considering the price, you get what you pay for. Overall dingy quality.

My husband and I like it here and would recommend it. A/C is included and not on the electric bill and since we had an issue with our specific unit fixed, it blows very cold. Maintenance crew is great. I pay my rent online and it is super easy. Very quiet complex for being so close to ASU.
Only negatives are that some outdoor areas are poorly lit and the office is often closed which is a hassle when we have to reload laundry card or we had a packaged delivered.
All in all it is a nice place to live at an affordable price.

A quiet community of mostly international students and families. Maintenance issues are always answered in a reasonable fashion. There is a very kind maintenance man that works for Agave, Sen. He is always working hard and very pleasant. We asked him to take off his shoes once before he came in our house to change light bulbs. And he had no problem with it! The ladies in the office are very kind.
The only thing is that I wish they had mixed/paper recycling. They have recently changed management, so there are changes being made. For the most part, it is a quiet community with a security

Ok, here's what I like about the place:
1. Peace&Quiet. I've never been woken by my neighbors and no one has ever caused us any problems. Everyone who lives here is usually nice and we'll smile and say hi but mostly we all mind our own business.
2. Close to ASU. I am a full time student so it's really nice being able to walk to school (or bike when I'm running late!) Agave is also right on the Orbit Mars bus route, which is a free bus that goes to the light rail as well as Mill Ave.
3. Cheap. For a 3 bedroom apartment, we pay $975 a month, which includes rent, water

This is the worst place I've ever lived in, just finally finished moving out and now I'm being charged for things that were not my fault. Initially there were also lots of damages in the pipes and water leaked out in the hallways and in my room. twice. as well as my roommates room 3 times. that didn't bug me as much as the fact that it took them 3 weeks to fix it and even then they left the walls half completed. Now after moving out I'm being charged with not having closet doors when they didn't come with closet doors in the first place. plus management rotates so often

This apartment sucks. Do not move here! Agave used to be named with Villas and I have been living here since 2009. The biggest problem is that their free "air condition" did not work in the summer! Imagine how terrible it is. The room temperature is more than 80s in midnight and I have to take a shower to fall asleep from time to time. Sometimes the air conditions works well, but sometimes does not. Since my lease ends in March every year, which was cool and nice in Phoenix. I always forget how terrible it is in the summer and too lazy to move. But I will definitely move when my lease
