Thieves and liars Liars!!!
We were looking for a new place for mom. Put in our application at a senior apartment complex. Paid the application fee and the deposit. They require a money order and said to leave the money order blank in the event that it was returned to us if we changed our minds.
I called to follow up on the application after a few days, didn't have an answer yet. A few days later they still didn't have an answer. A few days later they still didn't have an answer.... 26 days after entering the application still no response. I went into the office to withdraw the application and

Look elsewhere if you expect property oversight, safety, and compliance to lease terms. Serious problems with Property Mgr/Erica saying things to appease, she belittles residents in front of other residents. Reported mis mangement and ethics to Owner several times. Emergency Maint is useless, no protocol is followed and you just have to live with it until lease is up.

I have been living at Savannah for a year and a half. My experiences with the office staff and maintenance have been great. The apartments are nice but the installation is horrible, if you drop a remote on the floor it seems like a bomb has gone off. The manager Ms. Erica, care about the well being of the tenants. Just like every other apartment complex, there are some kinks but she's trying to get them taken care of.

I moved out after a second lease, so I must have been somewhat satisfied. But I will do a complaint on this issue of them owing me money for patio French door blinds which are deemed "missing". Yet when I moved in there, no blinds were ever installed, as the apartment complex was still under construction. However, my apt and floor of my building was completed and livable.
The manager started getting complaints from residents, so they decided to install blinds on the French doors to the balconies, throughout the buildings. But I was located in the very back of the complex, with a view of the back

They will lie to you to get you trapped and take your deposit when you figure out they are less than truthful. Erika is super sweet and tells you your deposit is totally refundable and after getting the run around for 3 weeks we tried to cancel and surprise another lie. Your deposit is only refundable if you are denied. When I gave the deposit my moms apartment would be ready in 14 days and we could not even see what it looked like until it is cleaned. That was 22 days ago. The apartment still is not viewable and oh now they need additional information after a week ago we were told it is approved

Here it is June 8th. The washer was finally replaced. But they dismantled the inside of dishwasher and left it. I just don't understand. There is no light in the closet. Now, all around a cute and spacious apartment with hardwood looking floors is very nice. The pool is always clean and the property itself is alway clean. I never see trash on the property. Residents and neighbors are very nice and friendly. I enjoy getting to know my neighbors and their dogs. Very peaceful and quiet after 9pm. which gets a 10+.

I am sorry that I gave such a great review in the beginning. We were new and didn't know much. We were not told that they had a HUD program for homeless vets called VASH. It is a program for veterans who cannot maintain housing due to drug abuse, alcoholism or serious chronic health problems. While I have nothing against any vet as I am a vet myself, unfortunately a lot of these vets were living on the street with their own habits and with VASH are able to get a subsidized apartment but now they are living in community. Sadly many do not know how to deal with community. Also there was a good
