Home Inspections help protect you from unexpected repairs, as well as alert you to potential safety concerns. No one likes to be suprised with expensive home repairs. Whether you are buying a new house, selling your existing house, or even in your current home that you have no plans to move from, having a certified, trained and licensed Home Inspector perform a thorough Home Inspection can prove an invaluable investment.

A Home Inspection is your best line of defense against unexpected expenses and safety risks that any home has the potential to hide.
Services
This is one of the more common misconceptions that we hear over and over again. I think where this false message may come from is that there is an assumed greater risk in homes with a basement, because Radon will tend to gather or accumulate on the lowest level of the house, and since Basements are typically not as well ventilated, The risk is there for higher levels of Radon, as opposed to a house without a basement.
It is important that you hire a Home Inspector that has been in business for a while, not only for the experience and knowledge that comes from that, but also because you know that they will be here in the future. You may have questions well after the inspection, and being able to contact the person that did your inspection is another invaluable resource not to be over looked.
If you are buying a home, you need to know as much as possible about the homes present condition. But a Home Inspection is not only about finding what is "wrong" with the house. The inspection itself can be an extremely informative process, informing you of the "good" aspects of your new home as well.
When you're ready to sell your home in the current market, you need to take every step you can to ensure a timely sale at the price you want. A surplus of homes for sale means that yours needs to stand out in style, amenities and quality to make an impression on potential buyers. Currently, home sales are at a historic low -- so what do you need to do to buck that trend?
As an investor, you need to know about potential safety or occupancy issues that could affect your ability to rent the property, or be a liability issue. If your goal is to flip the property, then you need to know what additional expenses you may be looking at to protect your profit margin.

When your prospective buyer hires an independent Home Inspector, they are not going to care as much about the paint and carpet anymore if it is discovered that more serious issues exist with the house.

I hired them to pre-inspect a relative's house I needed to sell. I found the office staff very easy to work with and the inspector easy to work with as well. The report was comprehensive and easy to understand and the overall communication was great.

I don't live in the area but if I had to buy a house, I would want these guys to inspect it first.

Helpful, friendly and seemed to catch some important shortcomings. They answered all of my questions in advance as well as during the inspection. The report was fairly thorough and prompt. Bryan Gibbs was easy to work with.
