Dr. Kauffman and staff are excellent. I've just had two cataracts removed this month with incredible results. My 20/80 eye results were 20/30, and my other eye resulted in 20/20 vision.

He and his staff are highly qualified and thorough. They were also kind and supportive in every way.

I highly recommend Dr. Kauffman to everyone!!! He's worth any drive.

I noticed two excellent reviews were voted down. I would have liked a way to vote the reviews up. Dr. Kauffman is the absolute best . At 70 I should know!

Dr Kauffman is very thorough and rains well. I think the front office should use different approach other than last name please. At least say hello may I help you. Other than that office is good. Needs a little updating

Went here to get an exam and new glasses. Exam and glasses ordered. Picked them up after 2 weeks (they just started selling glasses) and holy moley. Something terribly wrong. Went back, made a few corrections, and reordered. Another week, went back in, same thing. It was a Friday that I picked them up the second time. The lady that orders the glasses told me to 'wear them over the weekend and see if my eyes adjust to them' so, I did. After a weekend of a constant headache, I took them off, and put them in the case. I got pretty busy, and never bothered to go back. I spent a lot of money

Office was very clean and all the staff was super friendly. The doctor himself was very thorough and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He also listened to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. The lady who fit me for my glasses was very nice as well. Definitely will return and reccomend to friends and family.

Dr Kauffman was very thorough. He took his time with me as I have been to the big box eye stores and they just didn't know how to prescribe me what I needed in eye where. The best thing is now I can see to do my job and drive. Good thing Dr K helped me out.

I gave a 4 star simply because the not so friendly secretary, 1st off when I walk in I'm use to Hi, how may I help you well she says last name please, what if I only had a question, 2nd after my visit she just says what kind of card are you using NEVER once did she give me my total UNTIL I asked how much is it, what if I didnt have that right now and wanted to be billed this is poor customer service I felt better when the gentleman was working the desk she needs to be trained or retrained how to approach customers

Very professional, thorough and freindly. I started seeing Dr. Kauffman while he was at Community Hospital East, then followed him to his practice on Shadeland. Very satisfied with vision care, complete explantions of my conditions and cataract surgery. Staff is excellant as well.

Dr. Kauffman and his staff provide excellent explanations of all facets of the exam and are more than willing to answer questions. Dr. Kauffman is a surgeon (ophthalmologist). His services are best suited to people with medical vision problems or unusual vision issues, not routine vision tests.
