I am responding to a survey that was completed after a concrete step replacement. The stairways, risers, etc are painted steel, squeaky, rusty, etc and are in need of replacement. It appears there are many concrete steps throughout the community as well as landings that are cracked which likely need to be repaired and numerous that need to be monitored on a regular basis due to safety concerns. Wood replacements are most likely needed. The concrete step that had basically crumbled and extremely unsafe was replaced timely by the regular maintenance staff. Renter beware. Unless you are on the top floor expect the noise above you to be on another level. Even through the walls, they're paper thin. The front office is a joke. You walk in to speak to someone and it never fails to hear Beth telling everyone's bussiness, gossiping, just very unprofessional. I'll call the office and no answer, I have to call private to get an answer, almost as if they don't want to be bothered with the tenants. I've literally called standing outside the office door and walked in while it was still ringing and Beth is just sitting at the desk. Why not answer if you're not

Awesome experience here... Prompt response to our maintenance request... Rori is always patient and thorough whenever she was sent to our apartment. The management is awesome Beth and Laura are always eager to help with our issues. The environment is always clean and I bet anyone would love to move into their renovated apartments.

I was charged a termination fee when I moved out even though I never terminated my lease, lease was fulfilled. When I tried speaking with staff about this, it was like talking to a brick wall. So I just paid it because it wasn’t worth the effort but please take into consideration before moving in that they WILL try to get every penny they can out of you.

This month made 6 years I have been a member of the Avalon Oaks Family and I love it. When I moved here from West Virginia I was new to the state, city and definitely community. I had never lived away from home and bringing children with me to a new area was scary to say the least. Beth was the first warm and welcoming voice I had contact with. She walked me through the application process, gave me information on the best surrounding school system, and made sure the process went smooth.
Living here has been a great experience. At times there have been a few kinks but nothing that hasn’t been

I moved in to Avalon Oaks about a month ago. This place has been amazing so far. When i moved in there was an issur with the A/C, and the office staff and maintenance were on it immediately to fix the problem. The staff and maintenance are extremely friendly and truly seem to care about tenants. I worked with both Beth and Hyatt in the front office and they are wonderful! I feel so safe here and it is quiet with friendly neighbors. My apartment is beautiful and already feels like home. I would give 20 stars if I could!

While the spaces themselves are nice and comfortable, the management is ATROCIOUS.
My heater began to die in November. Maintenance would show up and "work" on it (some fun instances including the time when I turned off my heater because it was blowing cold air, and they thought the heater was fine, that I just didn't know how to turn on a heater).… It took until MARCH to resolve the issue. My heating bills were ranging between $500-$700 a month. For five months, I was paying absurdly high bills because they were too cheap to replace the heater. Finally, they got sick of me complaining and

This apartment complex has thrown up red flags from the start. They rarely answer the phone when you call- maintenance doesn’t answer the emergency line. The electric bills are super high (I’ve heard this from over 10 other residents) because the equipment is old, and they refuse to fix/update them. The photos they use do not look anything like the… actual apartments. They are also notorious for not showing you your apartment until well after you’ve paid a deposit. The staff (aside from Beth) is rude, and ever changing to new (also rude) staff. It is mind blowing that they
