Emily from 1700 is the most unprofessional property manager anyone could ever find. She hired an outside vendor to fix something in my apartment and didn’t even bother to call me to let me know someone would be in my apartment after I specifically requested a call and voicemail from the maintenance person. Not only did she lie on the maintenance person saying he told her I didn’t want a call but she then told me she was just too busy to call. If something goes missing from my apartment because just anyone was given a key then who is liable???? After not having an answer for any of my questions

This is a desperate cry for help. I have been in contact with the property manager of 1700 Place Apartments for months trying to get many issues resolved. For almost 6 months my wall has been leaking, causing severe damage to the wall and flooring. Multiple maintenance individuals and professionals have come out to investigate the leak but, no repairs have been completed. I have several watermarks on my ceiling that continue to grow and, I'm concerned that this is also due to another water leak. I have a water leak under the kitchen sink and, I believe black mold or some sort of mold has developed

Don't make the mistake I did. I read the one-star reviews before moving in and dismissed them. "They must be negative people," I thought. I was wrong. They were the honest ones, trying to save me from the worst apartment experience I have ever had.

Since new management took over, they have not addressed anything about trash being all around the apartment complex, not strict on dog polices, still have a gate at the entrance that does not operate (we live in a gated community and anyone can come in) also people can park anywhere yet we have parking stickers on our cars w/ visitor parking available. Leasing office staff has been incompetent as well. I don’t even have the energy to be descriptive of them. This place is absolutely horrific!! I moved here from Ohio the first apartment they moved me in was Roach infested so I had to cut the bottom of my furniture out just so I wouldn’t take them to to the next place they moved me in which was roach infested as well!! I had to get a new uhaul which they never offered to help because of their mistake.Ive never lived like this.Whatever you do Don’t rent from them the whole complex need to be demolished.They cover up the damages in the apartment so it can look decent it’s crazy!! Update 07/13/21: Well, thank you for responding to my review but as you can see I am back again due to the poor service from your company. This company has been performing poorly since taking over 1700 Place Apartments. We used to actually get things fixed when we called for maintenance and now maintenance requests are ignored. Since my last post, I contacted maintenance in early June to have my AC repaired after the power went out. The temperatures were well into the eighties with "feels like" temps of early nineties. 1700 Place apartments is a great property I toured the property but I leased somewhere else because nothing was available at the time but other than I would have loved to stay there. The staff is very nice and considerate , very professional ,and the prices are very reasonable. So after my lease is up at my other property I would love to go back to 1700 place apartments .

In all my years on this earth I've had a lot of experiences speaking with property managers but my encounter with Miss Tameka Myers was very enlightening and refreshing. Her management skills and knowledge of her job was very impressive. Her level of compassion was very comforting as well.
Being from the north politeness is rarely found so I must… say her qualities of addressing someone of my age really had a profound impact. No matter my questions she supplied the information. I'm definitely impressed with the maintenance of the property as well.
Needless to say Miss Myers has made my decision

Since the New Management took over, there has been a lot of improvement on the property. They have put in new playground for the children. The club house will soon have a business center,an improvement in the gym with brand new equipment, new resurfacing in the pool area, builded in stainless steel grill in the pool area, and a pathway that starts from the office into the 1800 building.I have seen the entire buildings being painted, reroof was done, patios and balconies rebuilded. Gates are now working and the back gate fence is lock. A few units have already been hand picked and renovated. The
