My wife rented an apartment here and from the beginning, the experience has been disastrous. She was not allowed to see the apartment before she signed the lease. I tried to inspect the apartment while she was signing the lease and was admonished to get out of the apartment. Management has been totally unresponsive to several issues that have affected the health and well-being of my wife. In total disregard to the Tenant Landlord Act regarding air conditioning. The AC unit has been in disrepair for the three hottest months of the year. Maintenance is poor and they have no sense of urgency or regard

Our first apartment in the USA was in La Lomita, it was the best experience we could have, The administration staff (Maria and Isabel) are very kind and diligent girls, I have no complaints, THE apartment complex is very well cared for. The security is unmatched, everything is very quiet, very friendly neighbors and everyone in their own way. We were sad to leave but my daughters changed schools. Since I met La Lomita, I recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment.

Horrible Management.
I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Air conditioner stopped working mid July (hottest week of year). It took 2 weeks for management to install a new one. One day I went to the office and asked for updates and management told me "it was not their problem" that they did their part by providing me with a portable air conditioner. Of course managers attitude changed after she saw I was getting upset. **Keep in mind that even with the portable air conditioner our apartment thermostat still read at 90°F. I have photos to prove it.
Also, our air conditioner

Living here was an absolute nightmare. Not only does management have such a disgusting unprofessional approach when they talk to you the maintenance men there watch your every move. I was charged so many small amounts here and there and was in the office constantly to fix the errors. Isabel does NOT know how to manage. With the many other apartment complex nearby you have so many opportunities to not be ripped off. Also don’t be fooled by the 5 star ratings they put notices on the doors to give them a good rating in exchange for a gift card.

Do not rent here! This place has the most unprofessional management I have ever encountered. I applied to rent from La Lomita. I was moving from out of state. They promised to have a unit ready for me. Not even two weeks before my move-in date, Naomi called me to inform me that my apartment would not be ready until two weeks after the date I needed the unit. After a rather disturbing go around with property manager Isabel, who was quite quite rude over the phone, they could not promise my unit would be completed. They agreed to renovate a unit, and had two months notification to get this done.

This place was filthy ac units went down twice when we lived here. Mind me we only signed a year least thank god! Growing mold is our restroom and took landlords a month to come check it! Keep telling us to spray with bleach which we've done plenty of times! Their guys came in a "re chalked" & " disinfected it" half a month later but yet we still had growing mold 4 months after they had serviced it. Their people came in and did work on our kitchen sealing after we had complained about the light flickering on and off and they are trying to charge us for the bad work

La Lomita has been a wonderful home for our family, it is a great first apartment. The living space is rather small, but I love how quick and easy it is to keep our home looking tidy. We have had some small issues with the AC unit, however maintenance is always quick and fast. The walls are fairly thin, and that can be a bit awkward at times. But I believe that La Lomita is worth giving a chance, like many places it's not perfect. The staff especially the maintenance workers and Maria have always been incredibly friendly and kind towards our family. If you are skeptical, I would highly recommend

We moved into this complex after a life changing event that pulled us from our home in Cochise County. The people that run this place are excellent individuals and they keep this place well cared for and beautiful. However, the walls and ceilings are paper thin, where every noise from the neighbors can be heard. And we just got cited for using our teeny tiny barbecue grill on the gravel in front of our apartment, even though they have barbecue grills in random places throughout the complex. Great folks, decent prices, but unfortunately not up to par. We will probably pay the 2 months rent it

I was in good standing with La Lomita for 2 years and moved out on good terms when I moved into a house. I did not hear a word from them for over a year until someone from a collections agency called me saying I owed La Lomita $243. I called them and the lady said she would try to dig out my file and see what that could be from. She never called back. I tried several times to call and talk to the manager who I have always gotten along with. Could not get a hold of her. They have never contacted me about anything and tonight I discovered because of their fraudulent claim my credit score took a hit

This community is great all-in-all. I am a former resident who, quite frankly, does not understand the ex-tenants in these reviews. 1) As for the move out cost, they take pictures proving any damages left and charge you for said damages. 2) They tell you to give a 30 day notice AND send renewal notices a whole month and a half prior to your lease ending 3) The leasing staff is very empathetic to any situations. 4) The manager, Isabel, has been here for over a decade and tries her hardest to help out in any given situation. 5) You are on a loan when you rent. Meaning every payment has to be on time

Don't move here! AC units makes a lot of noise and squeaks and nothing gets done to fix it, parking SUCKS you sometimes need to park in the next door parking....seriously??!!! and nothing gets done. When they do go into your apartment to fix anything they NEVER leave a note that they were even in there, it's not until you follow up that they say something. OOOOHHHH but don't be one minute late with the rent because that note will be on your door! I am very unhappy here and they don't seem to care or reply any of my issues I email them about. Cant wait for my lease to be

I have lived at the La Lomita apartments for over five years. I feel safe and comfortable about living in this community. Here are some strong reasons why:
1. People in this community are respectful and respectful of others need for peace and quiet.
2. The management staff has always been polite and respectful. They have followed through with whatever they promised they would do.
3. The complex employs a great landscape company that keeps the apartment in immaculate condition.
4. The pool is always (well maintained) properly chlorinated and kept free of debris.
5. If you are into working out

I recently moved back in to La Lomita Apartments. I had left to get a larger apartment at a better price. They say you get what you pay for right? Right! The very first week I moved in to the other apartments down the road called silverwood terrace, I had issues with maintenance in my apartment and no one came for 3 days and the persons in the office were so rude. I was glad that I had only signed a 6 month lease.I remembered then how great the maintenance staff at La Lomita is and how they come to fix things the same day. My a/c went out and the manager
offered me a temporary apartment. Thankfully
