Owned and operated by seasoned Chicago real estate professionals, we have an intimate understanding of Chicago's neighborhoods, market trends, and property conditions. Founded in 2010, owner John McGeown brings his Navy background into the leadership and operations of the company, which has grown into more than 1,000 units, mainly through referrals.
Our philosophy is happy tenants decrease turnover rates which equals more money for our clients. We have a proven track record of increasing renewal rates, collecting rent on time, proactive communication, and keeping properties in top physical condition. Collect monthly rents, fees, deposits, etc. and deposit revenue into owner's account (minus expenses).
Note: Keys cannot be released until account numbers are provided for all applicable utility accounts. To sublet your unit means to re-assign the lease to a new tenant in the event that you wish to leave your unit before the expiration of your lease. In this case, you, as the tenant, would remain responsible for all rent payments and lease terms, should your sublessor fail to make a rent payment by its due date.
Our expertise lies in identifying properties, analyzing construction costs, rental forecasting, design consulting, building transition management, construction oversight, lease-up, stabilization, and ultimately selling the asset. Our company started by servicing single unit owners, who need to rent and manage their unit until they are ready to sell.

I found High Fidelity Realty just in time through a listing I saw online. Danielle responded quickly to schedule a viewing, and I was moved in within a week. Throughout the whole process Danielle was responsive and genuinely understood and cared about my short time frame, by working with her team to get things processed as fast as possible. She was never pushy, but honest and eager to get the correct info I needed even sometimes at inconvenient hours. I’m very appreciative because without her help, my living situation would have been very uncertain. Thanks Danielle and team for making a stressful

The beginning of my experience with HFPM was absolutely plagued with issues. The management was extremely unresponsive to critical issues and in a few instances, extremely rude. They have since addressed some of these issues, because it was beginning to cause a bad reputation. I have since seen marginal improvement. The saving grace so far and the only positive experience I’ve had is Freddy the property manager, who does seem to try to make an effort to be in communication and is courteous. It will take some time to repair the broken trust they have established in the beginning.

Mike Maluta and John McGeown went above and beyond for me while purchasing my first property. They were more than helpful in navigating every step of the process (Getting pre-approved, inspections, finding contractors). Since closing, they have continued to provide assistance with finding contractors. To say that they have been extremely helpful, is an understatement.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company is extremely unprofessional. Their properties are unkept and do not maintain a standard that is habitable. There have been multiple issues with rats (not mice) invading the property and maintenance has failed to respond in a timely manner. The conditions are inhabitable and unsafe. They have known about this issue for over 3 months and have only provided temporary solutions. My friend has spent over $100 of their own money trying to fix what the leaser should have fixed.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Danielle Leikam, who was extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs. We were moving to Chicago from afar and did not have the option to see apartments in-person, so Danielle went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed. I've been renting with High Fidelity for almost three years now. Their team is always very responsive. When I had an issue with water pressure last year, they were very responsive and fixed the issue in under 24 hours. I was highly impressed and still recommend High Fidelity to family and friends.

I've lived at my apt with HiFi for over 2 years, and it has been a pleasant experience. The sidewalks are impressively shoveled during the winter; often times they were cleared prior to taking my dog outside in the mornings, which I appreciated each time! They have always promptly replied to all maintenance requests I've submitted, and the maintenance workers have been polite and courteous - especially during the peak of COVID last year. I haven't had any less than great experiences with any of the employees I've met and highly recommend this property management company.
