Run run run.... do not rent from The Country Lane Apartments in Winnsboro. My father passed away. I thoroughly cleaned his apartment and storage space. When I contacted the manager about his deposit, she informed me that my Daddy would not be receiving it back because of a $900 bill from pest control that he had to hire because the apartment complex does not do pest control. Total BS. AND yes, I am going to make sure Noone else is duped into moving in here. Really???? No pest control??? I've never lived in an apartment complex who charges for their pest control. They never even changed

We done some restoration/maintenance on the Marlandwood Facility and was not paid a dime. We have turned them into the Texas Workforce Commission. We are a woman owned company. Make sure you don’t make the same mistake & not pre-lien the property. File a PRE-LIEN on any properties managed by Barge. That’s the only way you will get paid. Please do your research about this company before doing any services for them or demand payment up front. These people hide and don’t PAY!!!! I guess they will pay in the long run for screwing people out of their hard earned money. They

Contractors, stay far away from this company as possible. If they were accredited with the BBB, I would give them a very bad review. Work was performed on their property and they said NOT to come back on property because, job isn’t done as quick as they want. It’s a way to not pay a contractor. I’m gonna do everything in my power to make sure they don’t do this to other contractors.

College students and military personnel beware of Barge Properties Mgnt Co
I rented an apartment at Marland Place. They put on a good show like there professionals but they are anything but professional.
I'm in the military and I didn't want to make a rush decision and rent a place near Ft Hood Tx because I didn't know the area.
So I found Marland Place, told them I only wanted a 6 month lease they said that's fine but we can sign you up for a 12 mo lease so you can get a discount on the monthly rent and at 6 mo if you want to leave that's ok. I was like that's great these people a wonderful

Pay your rent and your water bill by the 3rd or you will get a late fee. But today is the 3rd, where is my water bill? How am i suppose to know what to pay?????????????? Complete rip off, always trying to find a way to overcharge someone. This happens every month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY IS THERE NO WAY TO CONTACT YALL. This company is nothing but a con. They like to enjoy ripping off their tenants and not following their own contracts or Texas state laws. Do NOT rent from these people. They owned a property in Dallas named Crescent View apartments which is being torn town to gentrify the Oak Lawn neighborhood. After moving out almost a year later they still refuse to respond about my security deposits.
