I have lived here for 7 years and honestly it hasn’t always been the best experience. Since Erica has taken over managing, the amount of follow through and attentiveness has been amazing. She and her staff do exactly what they say they are going to do and are really putting in effort to make residents happy! I wish she had managed this place the entire time because she is doing amazing things!

Monte Vista is a great place to live. They attend to maintenance inquiries immediately. Their office staff is generally friendly and always professional. Talking about all the great things about Monte Vista is difficult in the 'time of COVID' - there isn't much interaction within the community - but such are the times! Tenants at times do not tend to things properly - like pet waste - but that has to be difficult to address at this challenging time.

I love living at the MonteVista! My husband and I moved in almost a month ago now and it's been great. The unit had clearly been deep-cleaned and painted before our arrival, and the one work order we had to turn in was dealt with promptly and thoroughly. We did everything virtually before our move-in date and the office staff was very helpful as we selected a unit and made arrangements. The setting and location are both lovely as well. Definitely recommend!

First off, I have filled out and submitted an official complaint through the Oregon department of justice.
Be careful! This complex is quick to tow your car.
That first photo is one of a poorly maintained handicap reserved space. Poorly maintained is what this complex strives for, clearly.
I was stopping by this complex to say hi to a friend. I pulled in at 10:50pm, came back out 55 minutes later at 11:45pm to head back home, only to find out my car had been towed. It was towed just 25 minutes after my arrival. There is no handicap signage, nor signage warning of a possible tow if occupying

Great area. We love progress ridge with short walking distances to most ammenities with a stunning treeline view. Maintenance is prompt. The end.

Oh where do I start? I'll start with the positives. Maintenance is great. Always took care of issues quickly. Very friendly. Also, a great location. Close to shops, restaurants and good schools. But that's where the positives end.
Let's start with management. Dismissive and rude beat describes the management style. Quick to issue fines for silly things like my sons toddler bike on my back patio. Very slow to address issues or concerns. And if you question them in any way you are met with attitude and condescension. Libby, the manager is snarky and as phony as they come.

This is probably the worst set of apartments I've ever lived in.
We moved in back in March and immediately our washer didn't work, someone came out and "fixed it" well forgot to reattach the hose so next time we ran a load of laundry it flooded our hallway. They didn't take any responsibility... our drier didn't work the entire 8 month span we lived here(yes we broke our lease and it was the best decision)
You are assigned one parking spot per apartment and then anything uncovered is free game. However if you're planning on coming back to the apartments anytime

I requested the manager to replace old appliances and nothing happened so far. The dishwasher rack has rust which leaves traces on my dishes, contertop paint is all falling apart, refrigerator is very small and old which means you cannot store your food for more than 3 days of meals, window frame will be covered with molds no matter how often and hard you clean, and the washer and dryer are very small, not a full size. Furthermore, the dryer leaves brown stains on my clothes. Do not choose this apartment. I want to give it no star, but the site does not work if I do not give any star. I want

This is my first place ever moving in! I absolutely love it but there is one thing that is really not making me want to stay another year. The parking is a nightmare. I am absolutely disappointed. I just spent half an hour looking for a parking spot, to the point where I can't even stay at my place to sleep. I work 2 jobs and normally get off of my second job around 8. I also have a roommate who is a bit older, so being a considerate human being I let him have the tenant parking, which leaves me at times where I can't even come "home" to sleep because there is no parking whatsoever

I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews.. maybe they are from previous management. I've lived in my apt for over a year now and it's the best apt I've ever rented. Management is always very helpful, and non intrusive. I've had nothing break or go wrong since I've lived here. My neighbors are quiet and courteous, and I enjoy my space very much!

The Parkin here is terrible. This is the worst place to live. I hope no one no one ever applies to love here until the fix the parking we only get one parking spot and what if we have 2 cars? My child is special needs and I have to walk on a daily basis what feels like 2 miles to my apartment all because the visitor parking is so rare to find. I'm getting ready to start a petition or stage a rent protest with more tenants if they don't fix this. Ridiculous.

I would never recommend this complex. It's awful. Besides the whole, noisy neighbors and the complete lack of parking. They have now shut off the water, without a proper 24 hour notice. I have not been able to give my dogs water all day, even with the increase of temperature outside. Also, they are now discriminating against my boyfriend who smokes. They don't provide adequate smoking area/non smoking areas close to the apartment while our neighbors are allowed to own aggressive dogs that constantly walk onto my back patio while off a leash. We can't wait to move away from here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I lived here for 3 years. Never had any complaints really, other than the lack of parking and the fact that there is only 1 dumpster/recycle area.
The rent kept increasing, as was to be expected. But with changes in management, things just got bad. The maintenance guys were likely over-worked, so I'm not pegging this on them...more the management. When maintenance requests were made, the majority of the time things would get fixed. Sometimes though, things would never be addressed or would get halfway done. I'm not a stickler on that kind of thing,

The worst apartments that I have ever set foot in. These apartments are incredibly unprofessional- especially Chantel or whatever her name is at the main office. She accused my boyfriend (who has never lived there and only came for support upon move out) of being a felon. He is not and it was completely uncalled for. She also tried to charge me for damaged carpets, when I had only lived at Monte Vista for 2 months. Everyone is rude and terrible to deal with. They will not supply you with a copy of your lease and will not assist you in any way. Have a leaky faucet? You will be waiting til the end

Don't believe everything you see!!! I made my first mistake and had my parents rent here because we were looking for a place to move in fast and somewhat affordable. The first week my parents moved in they didn't have the rent agreement papers ready, but I can understand that because of lack of communication.

I love living here and recommend it to all my friends and coworkers. The apartments are spacious and the porches are pretty big. My dog loves to go out and sunbath on the porch.
The staff here is great. Carissa and Shantel in the main office are super sweet and caring. Any problems I've had, they go out of their way to take care of it and as fast as possible. They also have fun events for residents to attend in the main office.
Also the maintenance staff is awesome! The grounds always look great. I haven't had too many things in my apartment that need to be fixed, which is super nice

The staff has been caring and detailed, and that's what I want and need to call a place home! I am beyond pleased with the assistance and the ease this move has been. Looking forward to using the pools and 24 hour fitness center! There is also another perk of being close to my favorite theater cineatopia!

Noise: Not too bad if your windows and doors are always closed; however, this place doesn't have any a/c so getting a breeze you have to have your windows open which will allow sound to travel up. Somewhat pretty mellow neighbors but more to come on that later...
Grounds: Bird crap everywhere and dog crap everywhere, now I do have a black lab; however I pick up after my dog. Not everyone else does that here though. Now from a distance this place looks nice but get closer and you will tell this whole place needs a good blast

I've lived here for almost 2 years and have no complaints. I love it here--the location is great, the apartments are great and well maintained. There are so many amazing restaurants and attractions in walking distance:

I've had a few issues here and there. The problem is that they are being totally ignored.
For example: It's raining and 25* outside. I tell them there is too much moisture in the master bedroom and it is starting to cause mold and mildew on the windowsill. What do they recommend "leave the bedroom window open" so it can air out.
They have a gym but the equipment is in disrepair and falling apart.
They have a indoor heated year around pool and spa. But they are both only hardly luke warm. I got in the
