Lakeview Oaks Apartments

I've lived at this complex for the last three years. My experience started off good, but as the years have gone on there has been a dramatic decrease in customer service and neighbor consideration. I would not recommend living here.

When I moved into my apartment the maintenance team informed my roommates and myself that this unit had a slight roach problem that they were taking care of ... which was ridiculous because the leasing office said nothing and let us move in when they were aware they had roaches. The whole time living there we put in numerous request and to have someone spray and they told us someone would come every week which was a lie. We had to go to the office and complain before they sent someone to spray. Even after we went to the office the spraying was very inconsistent. When it was time to move out we

I moved in here 2 months ago. I have to say everything has been wonderful. The office staff are friendly and helpful, the maintenance men are quick and also very kind. The apartments are beautiful and the other tenants here have been great too. Very happy to call this a home for me and my kids.

I would just like to say this community is clean and well maintained. The trash collection which is in the rental payment is kind of inconsistent but other than that no complaints. Anytime anything needs to be fixed it is done so in a timely fashion. The pool area is my favorite personally. And even though propane seems to run out often the staff are readily responsive. Overall great community!

I live at Lakeview Oaks, and have been for almost the last 2 years. The maintenance here is very poor. The main offender is that my apartment’s AC has gone out multiple times in the last 6 months, and they do not seem to care.
I have to put in a request and call the office multiple times, spanning multiple days, to have someone fix it. And after waiting days for someone to finally come out and repair the AC, it breaks again 2 days later.
The BEST part about this is when I put another work order in, to have them fix the AC again… they marked the work order as “Complete”? I literally work

Stayed here for two years, and was giving the worst units they had to offer. Holes in the floor and appliances that did not work properly. The second year we stayed, our dryer did not heat properly upon move in, and it took the office six months to replace it… not to mention they require you to pay $50 a month extra for cable and you HAVE to. I do not recommend this place, they tell you misinformation and they don’t even have a real office staff, it’s all temps.

Worst Management! They hide all the information from you and keep you moving in circles. And at a point, they just stop picking your calls. They did not let us renew our lease saying they want to renovate the apartment. Then they decide not to renovate and leased out our apartment to someone else without even informing us or giving us the chance to renew our lease. Each time you try to talk to someone from the leasing office, they act as if they dont know anything and never give straight answers. Would not even give 1 star to this attitude!

I moved here in January with an intention to stay on a long term basis. We were about to renew the lease in July and they told us we can’t because they’re renovating the apartment. And we got to know that’s not true, they already leased it to somebody else. And today when I questioned them, they were so rude and told they don’t have to give us reasons, they can do whatever they want and ask us to leave without reasons. I went in today to get more information on the apartments b/c I’m looking to move soon. Jacob was so helpful and friendly. It was the best customer service I had in a long time. I will recommend Lakeview Oaks just based on the interaction I had today.

I'm not a resident, yet anyways, but I'm very impressed so far...I have only recently inquired about their homes. I wish I could remember the girl's name, I'm terrible with names sometimes but she has been calling and checking in with me, in attempt to keep me updated on statuses of upcoming availability. I've had issues with this apartment complex from day 1 and the management is very hard to get ahold of. My roommates and I signed our lease because of one specific unit that the leasing manager, Kristina, showed us and confirmed was available. Within a month of move-in, we were told that we would be getting a completely different unit (negating the reason that we signed there in the first place). From my understanding, this was due to previous tenants refusing to leave (which was outside of Lakeview's control), but Kristina was impossible to stay in contact with; she never returned calls

This rating is based on less than 3 months for the following reasons:
An annoying neighbor who turns on loud music at night. I complained to management more than 5 times with no change. I would blame the neighbor for that though.
Parking is not assigned and not always available in front of my building. I don't mind walking a little, but I don't appreciate that they told me parking is never a problem.
Some people are not considerate. For example, frequently a guy plays basketball at night. Either management doesn't have a time limit for playing or they don't care about enforcing

I’m very satisfied with this apartment. I would say the best apt I ever lived at.
The environment is beautiful and comfortable.
Staffs are all surprisingly friendly and helpful! Overall this is the place that you won’t regret to live at! I have a great experience here!

My room mate and I have lived in several apartment complexes between Orlando and Tampa over the last few years, and this place, without a doubt, has been our worst experience. We stayed a little over a year and a half since it was so close to USF, but we've had issues from the very beginning.

Shortly after moving in, the AC unit in the apartment above us broke, completely flooding ours. It took a good while for them to come out and resolve the issue. We've had several of the appliances break on us, and response time from maintenance drastically varies. When the light in my closet went

I have been a resident at Lakeview Oaks for a year and half now and have had the best experience as it being my first apartment. The location is great for USF students who don't want to be in the center of traffic, yet still accessible to school. The staff is always ready to help you and provides an assortment of weekly creative activities, like contests, breakfast and BBQ's for us residents. My only concern is with all the oaks, it gets pretty pollinated during the spring and a girl with allergies doesn't get along with that. However, the maintenance team does a fabulous job at
