We offer preventive treatments such as sealants. Dental sealant is a treatment where a plastic material is placed on the top surface (chewing surface) of a tooth and blocks the entrance of bacteria and plaque into the pits and fissures of your healthy tooth. You can think of them as a protective layer on top of your tooth.

I came to this dental practice after having had several unpleasant experiences with Angeleno Smile. A fellow UCLA student recommended this place after having similar experiences at Angeleno. This practice is small but well run. Dr. Khou is friendly, professional, and doesn't try to upsell you on unecessary services like what I experienced at Angeleno Smile. The receptionist is well trained, friendly, and appointments are booked with ease. The only downside is that you have to pay for parking if you park in the garage below this office complex. Dr Khou and his staff are the best dentistry staff I've ever seen. They are all quite skilled and efficient. The office is a well-oiled machine and they provide excellent preventative care (never needed anything more involved). I'm a medical doctor finishing residency and I have referred many of my co-residents and friends here. All are extremely happy with ASK.

Dr Khou and I went to school together. He is not only a good dentist, but also a great person. I've known him for many years, and he's never lost his temper, or raised his voice at anyone.
His office has the most beautiful view, and it makes me feel relaxed when I sit in the chair. It is clean, modern, and the staff is kind and gentle. Highly recommended.

I was recently able to schedule an emergency appointment online to fix a broken filling on very short notice. Dr. Khou was kind and meticulous in his work, as usual. I'm glad I've moved back to Southern California, as he's the only dentist whom I've ever felt comfortable visiting regularly. He doesn't try to over-diagnose you to be able to perform unnecessary procedures (I've had previous dentists misdiagnose stains as cavities) and the quality of the work he performs is excellent. The team is well trained and well organized. Email and text appointment reminders. Paperless documents. I have been with the ASK dental for 2 years and had 4-5 visits and each visit took about 20-30 mins - never delayed.

Having recently moved to LA I was eager to find a good dentist. I also hadn't been to a dentist in years so I was a bit anxious! I am happy to report that my experience at ASK has been wonderful. I've had two visits (initial cleaning and a follow-up for a filling). At both visits, I was impressed with how I was seen immediately with no wait time. Super easy to make your appointment, get insurance info and any administrative things. Doctor K. is also fantastic, he's a great dentist, explains everything you need to know and very kind and friendly as well. His assistants are wonderful, very professional and nice. Given my appointment was during COVID times, they were extra safe and extremely clean about everything.
The check-in process was quick, x rays went swiftly. Dr. K was very knowledgeable and made proper recommendations for a removal in the future.
Staff was also very pleasant and nice.

I'm a new patient here. Dr khou and his team saw me last minute for an issue I had. They were kind enough to explain the dental benefits to me as I'm not familiar with them as much as I should be.
They saw me and took care of my issue without hesitation.
Dr. Thou is an excellent dentist. He didn't sell me anything about any other issues and asked me to return when I have time.
He fixed the chip on my tooth and got me on my way.
He has excellent bed side manner and is really relaxed and actually funny.

I love them already! I had my first appointment with Dr. Khou and his team today and they are all wonderful. The appointment was quick and painless. The office is beautiful and sparkly clean. I came back in to see Dr. Arde for a cleaning and teeth whitening after a couple year hiatus. I brush and floss regularly but my teeth still became discolored. Must be all the coffee. My cleaning was so thorough. The back of my bottom front teeth never felt so smooth. The whitening cane out great as well. I didn't think my teeth could ever be this white due to having crows on my front two teeth. Can't thank Dr. Arde enough. I've lived in many different cities and have had many different dentists. Dr. Arde is the best dentist I have ever seen. Highly recommended!

If you have UcShip insurance , you should definitely head over to ASK dental. Not sure if they accept other major insurance companies but I was assured that all routine procedures during my appointment would be covered by my insurance. That's surprisingly something that many practices in Southern California can not say.

Best experience I’ve had at the dentist. I have dentist anxiety, but this was super quick and painless. I also loved that the MD was honest and didn’t tell me I needed X, Y, and Z done, like every other place I have been to lately. He actually said the opposite and encouraged me to NOT get certain things done. As someone who works in healthcare, I love that their website has a mission statement about honesty and integrity, and that they truly do follow that. Glad I found my permanent LA dentist.

My father was a dentist for almost 30 years, so I have very high standards for dental care. This office is extremely efficient yet I never felt rushed. Both times I came here (cleaning/exam and filling), I was seen immediately. In fact, these are the only two times in my life when a Dr. was NOT running behind. Dr. Khou is also very honest. I had a prior dentist tell me that I needed to have SIX cavities filled immediately ($$$$) including two front teeth, while Dr. Khou (and my dad) explained they were not necessary, because they were most likely arrested and not an issue. This was the BEST dental experience I've ever had!!! I came into the office extremely hesitant because I knew my wisdom teeth were coming out AND I haven't been to the dentist in over a year. All the girls in the office were professional and informative, and I was never waiting for more than a few minutes or so.

The one benefit of being a dental student is that it offers you a much deeper appreciation of good dentistry and a more thorough understanding of the philosophies and clinical approaches that underpin a great dentist. (I'm sure there are other benefits to being a dental student but I'm too stressed out to appreciate them).

I've never had a dentist like Dr Ardy before! He spends a lot of time educating patients on their current dental health and on what issues could pop up in the future.
