When The Wood Companies purchased the Leafy Dale, a certified Short North Historic District building built in 1895, the walls were stripped down to the studs.

I was continuously impressed throughout my time living at 9 Buttles. The entire Wood Companies team was responsive, timely and always went above and beyond to ensure their tenants were taken care of. Kathie specifically worked with us through some unusual timing issues with regards to move in and move out and she made the entire process extremely smooth. I would also like to add that the apartments themselves are GORGEOUS and extremely well taken care of (and in the heart of the Short North!). I 10/10 would recommend looking here for a place to live.

I lived with The Wood Companies for four years and can't say enough positive things about them. Their team is professional, accommodating, responsive, and goes above and beyond to make their residents happy. I lived in two of their newer properties and can say that the quality of finishes and materials is hard to find elsewhere. Definitely recommend living with The Wood Companies.

My experience living at Hubbard Park Place has been top notch. The management has been nothing but welcoming and went out of their way to help me. The property is very well kept, well built and gorgeous, I look forward to coming home to it every night. There really is no comparable property company in Columbus and I wouldn't think of renting with anyone else. 10/10, would rent again.

I cannot emphasize in words how amazing it is to live at the Hubbard park place. From management to the actual building. Taylor/Brittany are the best people I’ve dealt with in a rental management/property: they’re empathetic, caring and responsive to tenant’s needs. Woods Companies are really the best.
Building itself is extremely well maintained, best appliances, quiet and especially love my kitchen. Can cook million dishes in a 6 range gas stove.
Glad I made the move to live here and not leaving anytime soon. Highly recommend this property to anyone

We moved to a Wood Companies property after selling our home as we transition to another market. Taylor Miller is exceptional, and the entire team have been incredibly professional and responsive. The penthouse we are renting feels very residential with high-end appliances, beautiful lighting. great views of the city, high-quality finishes and a beautiful community space. I also can't say enough about Marshall – he goes out of his way to ensure the space is beautifully maintained and his kindness makes my day.

When we did our tour of the available apartments at Hubbard Park Place we were blown away by the space, finishes, and style of the options. I lived in three different apartments at the Carriage House which is along North High Street. This property is part of The Wood Companies. In my 10 years of apartment living, this was my favorite residence. The location is prime, the apartments are spotless, the place is secure and the rent is just right. The quirky variation in how each apartment is designed makes for a very unique setting. The Carriage house is full of character and is a top notch property managed by people with class.

Do not, and I can't stress this enough, rent with them!!!!! Horrible management! Will wring you out for all the money you've got! Maintenance men were misogynistic until I complained twice!!! I didn't even last my whole 10 month lease - I could not wait to be done with them! They do a bang up job of acting nice to your face but you better be ready to bend over once they've got your signature on that contract. I will never rent from them again. What a disgrace.

Good rental agency with nice buildings. I agree with the poster from 2012 who said he wouldn't get call backs from the office when he was trying to schedule a tour. I felt like a nerd trying to convince the homecoming queen to go out on a date, calling sometimes multiple times a day. It paid off, and I was lucky to snag a unit. Wood buildings are in such demand that they don't really have to go out of their way to find renters, as renters come to them. I work in this building managed by The Wood Companies, the local short north realtors with a whole lotta heart.
As far as property management goes the service is stellar. We've experience it all in our double suite, leaks, parking issues, problems with the heat, and most recently 5 inch thick ice.
The maintenance is very attentive and accessible. About a year ago I was looking for a place and checked out two other units in the building. Both were recently remodeled with new wood floors, new cabinets, and the obligatory coat of paint.
I finally woke up and decided I did not need to sleep three
