We lived at The Reserve for several years and overall, had a wonderful experience there. The residence itself - including the apartment, the facilities as well as the ongoing maintenance - was truly excellent. Moreover, management truly works hard to make the experience of all of the residents there comfortable, enjoyable, safe and respectful.
Prior to moving in we looked at several comparable settings in the area and none of them offered the location or the amenities as The Reserve. After living there (we recently bought a house which was the only reason we left), we can also add that our experience

My wife and I decided to move to New Jersey from NYC due to the pandemic. No need to commute anymore for work; both working from home. So we decided to look in a less congested part of New Jersey. We came across The Reserve online. Their site has very appealing photos, they are not too far from the city and yet far enough. We tried over 20 times to call and no one ever seems to answer. Finally I got a hold of someone name Lori. Oh boy, I thought New Yorkers were rude. She was extremely rude, unhelpful and very angry. All we were interested in was making an appointment to visit the site. Complete

I moved in here back in 2014 and renewed my lease once. After living in another complex I realized I should’ve stayed. Yes there are cheaper apartments but you get what you pay for. I ended up moving back and eventually out when I bought a house. I made good friends there and would’ve stayed if I didn’t buy. I still recommend this complex to anyone looking to move into Riverdale

I know there have been conflicting reviews concerning the Reserve at Riverdale. I lived there for a year and recently moved out as I had an opportunity to move to a larger space. I personally did not have any issues during my year at The Reserve at Riverdale. There are certain processes and procedures that must be followed(like using the Resident Portal) but once that is done, it's smooth sailing. I didn't have to deal much with the office staff(Laurie and Ines) but when I did, they were helpful & courteous. A big shout out to the maintenance staff on site who work extremely hard in keeping everything

They are the worst people to deal with, they like to sit around and do nothing, I moved out of apt 217 a couple of months ago they had me give them a cashiers check of the left over balances, and they put it as if I never paid them so they ruined my credit score. I strongly believe that Ines pocketed the money. When I called them to get this resolved they do not answer

If you are thinking of moving in---turn around and RUN. When it comes time to move out, you will be sorry you lived here. After I moved out they claimed I owed hundreds of dollars in move out fees (which is NOT on the lease, but they claim they are "allowed" to add any additional fees to your lease as they see fit). They sent me an addendum to my lease at move out that I NEVER even signed and said that I had to honor the addendum even without my signature on it! They sent me bills for their cleaners, even though it was a standard cleaning/prepping for the next tenant forcing me to pay for the apt

Great place to live. It offers everything we need- shops, restaurants and major highways close by. I won't whine or sugar coat. The management is very responsive to your issues/concerns. Apartment is well built- quiet, granite in the kitchen, appliances work great, roomy (2 bedroom/2 bath). Never had any major issues (only lightbulb, slow drain, batteries dead in my thermostat). Not the cheap/flimsy construction where you hear your neighbor flushing the toilet Neighbors are friendly, many pet owners here. The pool and the fire pit are awesome in the summer. This is a great place to live. I have been living here for 16 months already and I very much enjoy it. I live in the non-smoking building on the top floor and it is very quiet. My neighbors are quiet and I make sure that I am quiet for the people who live under me. People are very nice here. The staff is very pleasant and quite accommodating. This is a great experience. Of course, I wish the rent would be a little lower as it is an expensive place to live. But, overall I give 5 stars.

My wife and I have lived here since 2011, and we love it. The only issues we have ever had were with other tenants who were hopelessly rude and loud (they're gone now), but the apartment itself is very, very nice. The kitchen is perfect for my needs, with plenty of cabinets for storage, and modern appliances. The granite countertops are very nice… and durable. The two bedrooms have plenty of closet space, and the bathrooms are very nice. We also have a den, which we outfitted as a den, and it's very nice to sit in there with company and enjoy ourselves, or to simply watch TV. The only issue

This place is an extortionist. They only care about what fees they can charge you with. Since inland has taken over its even worse. Fixing things is not a priority either! Waited a week for cold water in the bathroom and waiting for my air conditioning to be fixed! Can't wait to move but breaking the lease early is too expensive with added fees and charges.
