Just signed on my first apartment this week and can't speak highly enough of urban sanctuary and Odeis and Issac. I found my apartment on streeteasy and immediately heard back with open house times. At the open house I met with Odeis who was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful without making me feel pressured.

I'm the type of person who needs time to look around before deciding on a place and Odeis was flexible in allowing me to see different units at various times of the day. When I finally decided, the application process was straightforward and I heard back quickly from Isaac regarding

Had an easy time renting my current apartment through Urban Sanctuary. Odeis showed me around the building and couldn't have been more friendly. More importantly, I found that the team was honest and direct with me, which is a rarity in NYC real estate.

Had a good experience working with Issac and Odeis. The process was quick and smooth, and they even allowed us to sign a lease 7 weeks in advance of our move-in date. We’re super grateful for that and thankful for their quick responses and assistance. Would recommend!

Isaac helped me secure a great place in Williamsburg. He worked with me on squaring away all the details and was responsive when I needed floorplans/other info. 👍

Great experience for rental. Found listing online and requested to view. Odeis called and I discussed exactly what we were looking for. He felt the apartment fit the description. The space exceeded our expectations. The application process was straightforward and Odeis and Issac both answered all of the questions we had along the way.

Grateful for the good experience and would recommend Odeis and Issac for anyone looking for honest and helpful brokers.

Complete scam artist. Do not trust issac. He will steal your $ and lie. He stole our deposit then posted Information about me that wasn’t true.

Be careful when dealing with this "company". Not even sure if its a legit business. The acting agent Itzhak Krispin rushed us into applying for an unit in a building in harlem. Emailed us everyday, all times of the night. We provided ALL information requested and were still harassed for more documents even though we provided contact numbers and addresses. This agent is NOT helpful at all. 5 days later, after refusing to get the run around I called Issac to check if he even looked at my application and contacted my previous landlords. His response was always "i'm going

While I cannot specifically speak of Urban Sanctuary as a whole....I must rave about Daria Komanova.
Daria is very professional and her knowledge of the FiDi is amazing. We explained to her what we were looking for, how much we wanted to spend, and all NO-FEE which we knew is not ideal for agents.
Fortunately, for us we found a building we just had to live in (the place just felt right). And lucky for us the initial apartment we put an application on fell through (Metroloft is a no joke management company) because we were able to find a bigger apartment in the same building for less money and

My roommate and I just used Urban Sanctuary and it turned out really well- which we were iffy about because of all the negative reviews on here. Also, we had a pretty small budget and we still seemed to get great service, which we were also worried about.

We did fill out papers when we first got there, but since we didn't like the first place we went to and this was our second, I can tell you that is a pretty standard practice. We didn't even fill out the whole form, it was just to let them know who we were and what our price range was, nothing binding.

We had Ida as our broker. She

Bait and switch routine is accurate. After detailing for a second time the neighborhood and amenities I was looking for (already sent in an email), they kept asking me to consider other locations.

It is a low-entry business in Manhattan, so I honestly did not expect to be "wow-ed" by the agents and their general knowledge of real estate, but I was really unimpressed with the general lack of business etiquette. Agents were watching youtube videos, throwing around a nerf football and swearing in the presence of customers.

I ran across this place completely by chance and so glad that I went with them. Reading over all of the previous negative reviews is puzzling to me; every agency you go to is going to have you sign some paperwork in order to show you their listings. Every agency is going to ask about your financial situation because they want to make sure the apartments they show you are a good fit for you.
I'd recommend asking for Tina White, she's very professional, very helpful, and was always willing to answer my questions at all hours of the day. She even got me into a 'no fee' apartment

Agreement shoved in front of me the moment I walked in. Rude and not helpful. Didn't see one apartment from them after a 20 minute consultation. Go to Cooper & Cooper or Bond (ask for Jonathan M.) instead.

My firm is looking for office space so I called a craigslist ad. I spoke with Ida who had the listings we met up the next day and walked over to look at a few offices in the building. Within a short period of time I found exactly what I needed. If you go there ask for Ida she knows the business and is also the ops manager so you will be in good hands.
They even were able to get me $100 off the actual listing price.
When looking for R-E it is never easy and you will never get everything you want but Urban Sanctuary will help you get close .

With a 2 week deadline to find a new place Odeis Stephenson from Urban Sanctuary not only listened to our needs and concerns but delivered exactly what we were looking for without the running around other agents put us through initially. He is refreshingly honest and looks out for his clients...I have never written a review on anything, too lazy frankly, but he deserves 5 stars and tons of references. Good guy all around :)

My two roommates and myself just signed for our apartments yesterday - here's a recap of our experience with Urban Sanctuary.

About 2 weeks ago, we found an ad we liked on Craigslist - so we inquired, and immediately heard back from a realtor at Urban Sanctuary - Odeis Stephenson. We told him what we were looking for, our budget, and he said he would compile a few listings and show us around.

Anyway, we showed up at the office on a Saturday, and he explained to us everything we needed to know. He then took us around to probably 20 apartments all around the financial district. He was completely

Apparently these realtors couldn't care less about their clients. I had an appointment with Aran Scott, but was VERY rudely passed off to someone in a leasing office of only one building- 90 Washington (not the one I had contacted Aran to see)- who was hopelessly rude, too. I got zero response from Aran, who didn't even show up for the appointment. AVOID him.

After living in the outer boroughs for several years, this is the first time I tried to look for a place in Manhattan. I found them through a Craigslist ad posted by one broker advertising a good (as it turns out, ridiculously good) price for a 1BR. She told me to show up on a Sunday at a certain time, which I did, only to find that she wasn't there. I was referred to one broker, then another one, and finally to the second broker's underling, who proceeded to take myself and a friend (wearing uncomfortable heels) on a 20-block walk to look at three apartments $1000 over the price of

I was baited by their fancy advertising. The first thing the agent asked us to do was signing an agreement without explaining what it is. He wasn't knowledgable about the area and constantly had to refer to his notes and sheets to check on prices, square footage, and other info. Needless to say we felt like being ripped off. The only reason we wanted an realtor was because we hope they would provide us with useful insights about the area and finds us the best deals. A week later I gave up on this realtor and called another one within the same company. BIG MISTAKE!! The first 30min of our
